The map feels too linear in some parts, like the ending, compared to the really "flowy" beginning. You should make both parts play/feel the same.

As you might be aware from looking at the map's submission date this map is mapped reaaaaaaaally long ago (2013) - right now I only have a faint sense on why I mapped like this or how I went on the editor back then o.o

Are you sure you can't get a BG with a better resolution the current one is pretty pixilated
Your diffs could benefit more from volume changes Mako since there are some sections notably weaker than other ones. Just check them out like on Niva's diff maybe.

Also 00:13:421 (1,1) - Not rankable as far as i know since spinner leniency is too low for a normal difficulty, so delete it would be the best decision.
Same for 01:22:719 (1) - though cropping this one by 1/1 beat should be fine.
00:25:877 (2) - The beat on sliderhead is way much weaker than its tail/reverse is landing on. Switch rhythm up, this slider doesn't even follow anything in the music properly:

I think you need Easy diff (just my suggestion) No need, on this kind of bpm I use simple pattern and rhythm here on Normal and most of it based on the music itself also the placement is readable enough even for beginner, no bad overlapping, no extended slider, and etc. So it's probably fine and still afordable even for beginner to play

And Hyper and Another diffname just use for beatmania IIDX song (not Deemo and Cytus, like my Myosotis map), so need change about that! Also no need change anything there, since when there's restriction on naming diff like that? Afaik, a bit quote on Ranking Criteria "A difficulty's name must indicate its level of difficulty, with the exception of the hardest level of difficulty in a set." So there's no problem in using IIDX diff name on Cytus, since Cytus just use plain Normal and Hard on their platform without any Insane diff name or anything harder there

Will add that Testimony and Claire Wang on next update, thanks for checking~

00:03:596 - Are you sure to keep this beat out? I mean it's a Normal difficulty so you can be less lenient with spinners. It feels odd that this beat is left out.

The passive slider issue still persist in this map hmm... Well most of them are understandable since they follow vocals/instruments, but I would like you to check these backsliders:
00:25:877 (2) - 00:37:105 (2) - 01:33:245 (2) - 01:44:473 (2) - these sliders don't follow the music well. If both the end of the slider and its reversetail go over stronger beats than the sliderstart, that usually is a sign of bad beat patterning. You really should have a look at this again.

In Niva's diff:
00:31:842 (6,7) - Missed hitsounds, Normal-SS on 6 and clap on 7

I made the slider like this so that it'll carry some nice extra flow to the next (1) in which you can't possibly get if you made the slider straight, I hoped this reasoning to be satisfying enough o.o

@alacat: i'm not understanding the issue with spinner recovery times here. from what i know, it's recommended that normal difficulties of this bpm have 2 or more beats of recovery, which is being done here (2 for the first, 3 for the second)

@mako: could you find an audio file that is properly balanced on both channels? as you can see from the mp3's waveforms, the right channel is louder than the left channel. they should be equal, otherwise it's a pain to listen to

Quoting from Garven's post, a Normal should be have at least 2 beats as a recovery time, the example given by Garven is a map on 160 BPM, so 2 beats is around 750ms. But tbh since this is a Normal not an Easy, I don't see any problem by using some 1/2 rhythm here, because they're mainly follow the instrument and pretty common to use these day. Furthermore, they're pretty much consistent and beginner friendly enough to play imo. Besides, my main reason using that 1/2 rhythm is to keep the well balanced density on both Normal and Hyper, since on Hyper I most likely to use 1/2 rhythm. Conclution, I fix all the problem that you point out eventually

Yes, It's Normal difficulty! But you skipped making easy difficulty. So That difficulty is Easy/Normal because every beginners will play Normal difficulty on this map. I think it's better to take recovery times after spinner. Also this song is over 160 BPM.
