Why not? Sure they weren't even close to their usual gameplay and it took them way too long to wipe the floor with those insignificant peasants, but still. Doublelift's csing was just incredible, like always. They may not have played it as good as I would've liked, but they most definitely deserved the win.
Witch Mercy
man this year's worlds hype is real
LKs
C9 sooo coooool, I was like aaaaahhhhhooooowtf since C9's banpick last night

Many chinese call C9 "arty team" or "eSport louvre Museum"(well this is a bit hard to understand) because of their distinctive traits
Hai: For chinese gamers Hai is just like TSM.
LemonNation: The one who I never seen he picks other champions except Morgana and always holds his deathnote
Cyclohexane
the vigvog was phat

balls being 30cs down at 15 minutes was pretty damn saucy too
loved watching AN and Albis just casually getting caught in veigar stun

made me feel like even with silver mechanics you can win games at worlds
EneT
I'm on the Fnatic and LGD train. Have to support my boys; Reignover, Huni and Imp.
EneT
The CLG match was boring as hell.
Aurani
Fuck those KT nerds.
EneT
Watching TSM was embarrassing.

LGD next, Imp will sweeten the sour taste in my mouth.
Aurani
Indeed, it was pathetic, but having to watch those mongrels from KT smile is even worse.

Look at Score in his interview at the moment - he looks like a bloody pigeon with diarrhea took a shit on his eyes. Also, is it so damn hard to learn the English language? It's considered general knowledge nowadays.
EneT
TSM better get their shit straight. I know they're in the hardest group in worlds and I'm not supporting them in the first place but I at least want them to perform well and stop embarrassing NA.
Aurani
They're not even close on my cheering list, but I share your opinion there - at least play without embarrassment.

Bjergsen played like a goddamn wuss with LB - a champion that is useless if you don't take at least a bit of a risk for the kill. WildTurtle was just...... no, and Dyrus finally grows some goddamn balls, only to teleport in without his ult and get completely eaten alive, feeding without any good reason.

Also, who is your fav in the next game?
Aomi
Uhh what game are you guys talking about exactly? @ _ @
I'm interested, like is it watchable or?
Sorry, I'm new to this D:

The name is the title of this thread itself. :p

Just google it and you'll see if you like it or not.=)
EneT
Well Bjergsen did well in the early game; he got the standard CS lead he always gets and the 1v1 kill vs Nagne but I think he majorly fucked up in that first teamfight they had in Baron when he wasted all his skills on Alistar. The entire KT team was stacking a shit ton of MR so I understand that he would play more passively, even moreso when his whole team was constantly falling behind by the minute. Everyone else just kept getting caught out with the exception of Turtle and Bjerg in the early game but even then it was still salvageable; they could of came back but things just went downhill after the baron fight. Turtle in my opinion played fine except for that one time where they were running away and decided to start running towards enemy side, as an AD carry, everything was out of his hands. He peeled for himself well as he was always one of the last men standing but the problem was that his whole team just died too fast. An ADC can only perform as well as his team is performing. TSM isn't getting out of groups; against Origen, LGD and KT? No chance.

LGD, I'm supporting Fnatic and LGD for worlds. LGD is literally the only team from LPL whose games I watch because of Imp. I adore Vayne players and I consider Imp to be the best Vayne player in the world. I would support CLG but Doublelift gets way too complacent and cocky for my liking and it's spread across the whole CLG team.

If Origen makes it out of groups instead of KT, I would be fine with that.

Thing is, I understand what you're saying, but there is no way that they all just happened to lose because of the rest of the team. Yeah, sure, you can say the ADC couldn't do jack shit because the rest didn't keep up, but those other 4 don't have ANY sort of excuse, because SOMEONE has to be the guilty party for the match to go THAT much down the hill.

I'm also for LGD in this one. The reason I love CLG is exactly BECAUSE of Doublelift's cockiness. =D
EneT

Aurani wrote:

Yeah, but I don't like it when Aphromoo and Pobelter do the same thing. Being cocky is Doublelift's thing.

The main people to blame in TSM were Dyrus and Lustboy. Santorin played poorly, while Turtle and Bjergsen suffered from their mistakes.
Aurani
No one can have Doublelift's charisma, so I don't even pay attention to those mongrels, but his arrogance and overbearing cockiness is joyful to watch. Certainly better than all those other players who look like they're pissing themselves whilst on-stage.

Lustboy did meh, but Dyrus completely missed it. Extreme aggressiveness isn't his style, and NOW he decides to change it and fuck up even more.
A Medic
The other team was farming Dyrus.

He has been on tilt for at least 2 years.
EneT
I have no doubts that CLG is making it out of group stage; they literally have the easiest group.

Groups B and D are the groups to watch out for.
Aurani
Can't argue with that.

Acorn just completely screwed up his ult and it backfired, resulting in them giving first blood.
EneT
Watching LPL teams are fun; they're so overly aggressive.

Origen has a shot at beating KT and making it out of groups imo. They did go 2-3 against Fnatic.

Imp does NOT disappoint.
Aurani
I'm not so sure about it. KT, although I hate them beyond everything, did more than just good in the last match. If they repeat it, I'm not so sure about OG.

That mistake near the dragon from OG was exactly why I think they don't stand a chance. What the bloody shit was that........ you just gave them a dragon AND a tower.
EneT
IMP IS SUCH A FUCKING GOD!!!!
Aurani
I bet you'd do him. :V
EneT
Definitely. Their team comp is funny. Normally a team comp like that (Only 1 damage threat) is extremely bad but since it's Imp, it's completely fine... so far. It's like ye old CLG, peel for Dlift comps.

Watching Imp is like watching a professional Ballet performance.
Aurani
Well, if this continues, OG will be history. Like the commentator said, OG is kinda squishy as fuck.... if they fall too much behind, it's an auto-gg.

The reason the one-damage formation works is because of OG's owm comp. They can't pass through all of those supports and still have enough influence to get to Imp.
EneT
Not to mention the fact that Imp has dodged every single one of xpeke's ults which are their only chance of winning the teamfight.
Aurani
I hate it that LGD has this lead yet fails to pressure their base. They're trying to pressure the drag and baron without any fucking reason, whilst xPeke just casually slowly drills to their base.
EneT
There's that ult I was talking about.
Aurani
Yeah but now it's OG who gave no fucks about their base. Ultimately, it's not the kills that win you the match, but the base pressure.

Acorn fucking lost this. Get that fucker out of the tournament with his great ulting skills.

Watch it with us. : )

Biggest. Facepalm. Ever......................................................................................................

I told you that Acorn lost it.
From the moment he missed his first ult I knew he'd be useless to the team.

Time to go to the store and cool off from the bunch of shit I've witnessed.

EneT
Anyways yeah, that supports that statement I made of Origen possibly beating KT. Not sure if I want to pay as much attention to the next games as much as I did with this one. It's kind of obvious who will win with SKT vs BT and EDG vs H2K. Need to pay attention to the CLG game though.
edit: Actually, I guess I will. Gotta watch Faker.

I am, but is it ending? ; _ ;
And yay for Origen, I guess? ;o
I didn't expect the guys to look so cute lol
EneT
No that was just the second game of the day. Stick and watch the next game with SKT and BT. Faker from SKT is considered the best player in the world.
Aomi
Ooh, okay, I will!
EneT
Mannnnn I'm sooo salty......
I think LGD was way too complacent running that one threat team comp. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I guess I'm glad that xPeke played well; that's the influence Bjergsen should of had.
Jing Yuan
Oh what happened? can't watch in school rn
EneT
LGD had such a massive lead with Imp just completely wrecking like a God but after a few teamfights with xPeke getting some really good Orianna ults, OG started turning it. In the end LGD tried doing Baron but SoaZ decided to go straight to LGD's base and completely did an xPeke.
Gumpy
Some team won and cute Koreans played some video game.
Aurani
LGD lost because of Acorn's horrendous Malph plays. They held a steady lead for the first two thirds of the game, and then in 2-3 teamfights COMPLETELY lost the lead AND the match. I don't even want to know who came up with their strategy at the end by the baron pit.
EneT

Gumpyyy wrote:

Imp's was the only cute one.

Faker please.
Jing Yuan
imp is really cute~

damn though another xpeke at worlds this time

What is this language you're speaking in, someone decode it pls
Aurani
You'll definitely like the game if you just watch a few matches on the site EneT gave you. It's addicting.

Go SKT, we can do this!

Obligatory "OMG Wolf is so fat" that I always say.
Jing Yuan
Wolf?

I thought he was pregnant.

Oh no, no, I like the game, I've actually played it for a bit... before I quit both times.
Trying to get into it again.

I was referring to the league terms they're using, I can't understand any of them Dx

I'm rooting for SKT because Koreans (;

You and your love for Korean people. =D

Btw, this turned into an IRC.... I like it.
EneT
It's the World Championship, of course this thread is going to get more active.

Alright, this match is a joke. Bangkok Titans... you guys so funny.
Aurani
Well I'd like for it to become like this more than just once in 55 years. Come on, it's not like we're short on people who play League.

Speaking of being short on something - G4 is doomed with that playstyle.

The League terms they're using ><
I don't understand anything... lol

Yep, Koreans are awesome ♥
EneT
Are Bangkok Titans the wildcard team? They're pretty damn shit.
SKT are just playing solo q now.
Even the casters are trolling.

Yeah they're supposed to be. I'm surprised you noticed that only now, after the yesterday's game.

I didn't watch yesterday; I just watched the VODs of Fnatic's game and CLG's.

This match is actually making me laugh, legit.
Aurani
Trust me when I tell you that they were even more shit yesterday. They're steadily improving..... though that won't help them against SKT, that's for sure. Faker is fondling Wolf's breasts whilst playing - that's how much concentration he needs against G4.
Jing Yuan
does anyone here root for clg?
Aurani
*cough*
EneT

Aurani wrote:

In-game and out of game? Wolf is always playing Alistar.

What the caster's said: "I'm afraid this game will reduce SKT's skill" Got me cracking up XD
Aurani
"Can't go that much lower, really". :V

Out of the game, btw. He's playing with one hand whilst stroking them nipples.

This is a worrying trend for SKT
EneT
I didn't even notice that Bangkok Titan's jungler was called 007. I thought that the caster were joking around XD
Jing Yuan
I thought that with dumbledoge

edit: besiktas dumbledoge
Aurani
It's official - the commentators are on some low-quality mushrooms. Fucking moss puns, too.
EneT
I didn't even know that they were allowed to trash on a team so badly; doesn't it seem unprofessional?
Aomi
I want to say 'since when were they professional', but I've been watching for only 20-30 mins now :'(
Aurani
It's a League commentary - most of the viewers find it quite appealing.

Looks like the moss got roasted in the last teamfight, ha-ha-ha.
"Look at me, I'm G4, I can challenge Faker with my amazing Irelia lvl 1 plays!" *ends up 1-6*
Jing Yuan
who is your favourite caster?

Mine is are Phreak or Monte.
EneT
Mine is Rivington but for this match I like Phreak the best.

How long has Wolf been in labour?
Aurani
Phreak all the way.

Thing is, these damn commentators sound like someone told them about the game two hours before they started their job, because they just feel like they never even touched the game, let alone played it on higher levels. They know all their info for champs, but they sound so..... alien when they talk about the game. They talk like people who have only seen the topic they're talking about in a textbook - lacking all gameplay experience.

Wolf's about 5 months in.
Jing Yuan
Rivington is silver.

They know what they are talking about, though it may not come across right now.
Aurani
That's the exact thing I dislike about them - they know the dry info, but aren't emotionally attached to the game itself. I don't give a shit about this patch's nerfs to Teemo... I want you to commentate like someone who actually can't wait for Faker to make another iconic play and then start screaming like a little fangirl, instead of forcing retarded moss puns and giving their best to distance themselves from the common viewer who doesn't understand half the shit they're talking about, just so they could sound "professional".

I've seen enough stuff to recognise when a commentator just sounds like someone picked him up on the street and put him in a suit with some info on the topic.
Aomi

Well I certainly don't orz
Jing Yuan
If you wanted to hear people in love with the Korean teams, try montecristo.

The American casters will probably be more into the American teams play.
Aurani
You're actually quite a good example of that. You know about the game itself, but you can't pick up what they're talking about. It's not because you don't understand English very well - as you quite do, but because they're TRYING to sound as complex as possible.

World of Tanks is also suffering from the same kind of retarded commentary - give a charismatic beggar who has never played League a textbook of the topic, a week and teach him to speak fluently, and voila - he would be a perfect copy of the current, generic commentators.
Aomi
I guess?
Though I really don't know much about the game so it might partially be my fault D:
Froslass
I hope paiN can bring a decent game against CLG today. brTT and Dioud just have to play ridiculously safe against Rush Hour. This game will basically be decided on jungling and rotations, because sirT is clearly the least expressive member in paiN (aside from Dioud's bad decision making).
Aurani
EDG wins this one.
Aomi
This one guy sounds like a bad copy of Filthy Frank and now he's yelling and I just can't

i feel like the bad guy in the investigation room ; _ ;
Aurani
If I could understand Korean, I'd listen to their commentary... they sound so spirited that you don't even need to understand what they say to know they actually love the game more than the money they're being paid for commentating.
Aomi
Yeah, these guys sounds so lifeless and bored, it's a pain to watch, and oh god when they start yelling.
It's so forced, I feel like my ears are going to bleed...
Aurani
Oh well, at least EDG is playing nicely at the start. The game looks enjoyable.
Aomi

Aurani wrote:

Yeah, I guess I'll just mute the sound of it and play some music instead. :\
EneT
Next game isn't worth watching. I'll be back for CLG.
Aurani
Meh, KOO.
Froslass
Steak played nicely yesterday. He seemed able to handle all the pressure against him. I think KOO will try to take advantage from top side like CLG did yesterday.
neonat
FW takes it from KOO
Renevant
That quickly became a one-sided game

Yeah, and then SwordArt decimated anything Smeb and Hojin tried to do. I think this is the best support Morgana play I've ever seen.
EneT
Who's that fat Australian cunt I've never seen before?
LKs
swordart didn't really have very high Q accuracy, he could have performed better
and steak has become the most famous player from TW teams ww
EneT
Still anticipating which teams I'll be watching in the Quarterfinals I'm going to.

Leggo CLG. Started off good.
