I updated the first post because I start thinking people are really not reading rules before registering....
We have less entries I would have imagined at this point but even less because certain users are not reading rules. This is really sad because these entries are really good, but they're not respecting 2 or 3 lines we already wrote everywhere (on every size, in all colors you want..)
If it's still not working, I'll add butterflies and ponies next to the sentence to be sure everyone understand that dual layer (a.k.a trying to add more than one voice in the same time), reverb/echo effects are NOT allowed.

If you can't find an instrumental you can still send an acapella (your singing only).
It would be way better with music in background I think : 3 Even if it's the vocal performance that is judged, the music makes the ambiance. But I didn't understand if it's ok to use a music with singer on it, or if we have to use instrumental only if not acapella. I can still find something else to sing to so there is no problem hehe.
Edit : Well having a music in background makes it more pleasant to listen to, less "empty" imo. Anyway, I'll see then, thanks for your answers ^^

There's no point in using a song with the singer in it, that would just interfere.

It is not a problem if your friend is playing the background music, he/she is not singing after all 
If the recording is not very audiable, you can raise the volume, but just enough so it can be heard clearly.
