Does osu! use Fitts's law to calculate jump difficulty?

I was playing around and looking at the way difficulty changes when changing CS and it made me wonder whether osu! uses Fitt's law to calculate the difficulty of jumps.

Fitts's law basically describes how much time it'll take to get your cursor from one spot to another based on the distance and target width.

EDIT: I found this video that describes it in a more simplified fashion

Up to a certain degree, yes. We don't exactly use the logarithm due to the way users perceive skill, but we do make use of the distance/width ratio.

so it looks somewhat like (distance/width)/time? my gut is telling the time could be squared though,

just curious
