Personal view(You can completely disregard this one if you want)
I feel the 1/8 sliders around the song (like 00:38:619 (6,7,8) - for example) feel really out of place. In some cases 1/4 sliders would have the same effect and still sound nice when played or even just notes would have the same spacing and not add an in-between sound that doesn't quite fit the melody, etc. I'm disscussing this with the QAT as we speak. To find my reasoning behind this, read my replies to previous mods.
Also when I playtested this it felt WAY easier than a 5.4 star map minus a few patterns that really seem to spike the difficulty. The SV and spacing in general make it feel like it should be more of an insane or baby extra (somewhere like 4.9-5.1 star range) :v
A map like this would be such a free PP grind considering the length, OD and HP. aw ye
Overall this map feels really nice the flow is very consistent and smooth and the patterns feel natural even during breaks (the ones before the kiai) verses, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets ranked very soon honestly. Good job and best of luckthanks <3 I'll try to rank this ASAP

- Random / Unreasonable spacings or spacing changes. Spacing is one of the most important parts of mapping Insane difficulties, as it defines the flow and emphasis of a beatmap. If you use a jump, it stresses the note the player jumps to, as the cursor movement speed is higher. If you put lower spacing, the cursor movement speed is slower, and therefore the note gets stressed less. Spacing should always relate to the music as best as possible, to make the map fit to the music well.
In this map, many circle patterns have (what seems to be) random spacing changes, even though there is nothing in the music that would call for it. Often the jumps feel exaggerated, as there is no strong sound in the music that would justify them. There are also a lot of patterns that flow rather poor due to abrupt spacing changes, as the player needs to slow down or speed up without any relation to the music, which will cause unintuitive flow. There are also quite a few patterns that go back on themselves in a weird way, which doesn't play intuitive in these cases and can cause readability problems.
- Examples:
- Unreasonable circle - slider - composition or unfitting rhythms. A couple of rhythm-choices in this map are rather questionable. Keep in mind that stronger notes should have a circle or sliderhead while weaker notes can be mapped with slidertails. The players click on circles and sliderheads, which has a higher impact than releasing a key.
- 00:26:791 (4,5) - Why is this jump so big? There is no strong beat at (5) that would justify it.
- 00:27:477 (2,3,4,5,6,1) - There is nothing in the music that would justify big jumps like these. They also play pretty poor due to the sharp movements.
- 00:41:019 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - Weird pattern with random spacing changes. It also goes back on itself here 00:41:705 (5,6) which makes it feel cramped and rather unintuitive.
- 00:57:305 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - Same as above.
- 01:00:562 (3,4,5,6,7,1) - Again, the spacing changes don't seem related to the music.
- 01:30:562 (3,4) - The unusually low spacing between these objects doesn't work well, as the player expects a jump after 01:30:562 (3) - due to the repetition of 01:29:705 (6,1) -
- 01:47:019 (5,6,7,8,9,10,1) - Another pattern with random spacing changes, that goes back on itself.
- 01:49:762 (5,6,7,8,9,10,1) - Same as above.
- 02:19:419 (9,1,2) - You should avoid linear jump reductions like this, as they flow pretty poor. The transition from a big spacing to a low spacing can play well, but not if the player continues moving in the same direction. The cursor movement is fast due to the jump, but then it needs to slow down abruptly.
- 03:08:448 (4,5,1) - Same as above.[/color]
- 03:11:362 (5,6) - Unreasonably huge jump.
- 03:58:334 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - The music builds up here so increasing the spacing makes sense, but the pattern still has random spacing variations and seems rather unstructured.
- 04:01:077 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - Why does this stream, especially the second half, have such a high spacing? The music is far less intense for this measure 04:01:077 - compared to the previous section and the chorus. It serves as a small break before the chorus, yet the stream's spacing makes it really difficult and exaggerated to play. This stream is placed spaced as so due to the intensity of this part, it's the final contrast the song provides before the last kiai (which is the most intense in almost every song). Think of this as the words that artists say before the drop in an EDM song. The spacing also changes due to the shift from a lower pitched percussion instrument to a higher one, and it plays amazingly. I fixed the hip of it a bit though
- 04:09:134 (9,1,2) - Another instance of linear jump reduction.
- Keep in mind that these are just examples of said issues, there are more similar patterns with unreasonable spacings in this map that need to be eliminated before a requalification.
This map has some very strong beats mapped with slidertails, which doesn't emphasize them correctly. There is also a questionable extended slider, which should be avoided as it could simply be replaced with an 1/1- or 1/2-slider in this case.
- Examples:
- 01:50:791 to 02:01:762 - The circle - slider - composition is particularly poor in that section. Please avoid sliders that end on a stronger beat, like 01:51:991 (1) - , 01:53:362 (1) - or 01:54:734 (1) - for instance. I saw that Charles already cleaned this up for me

The contrast point doesn't correlate with the song at all, if you want legit contrast, use a few low spaced 1/4 sliders. The 1/4 sliders would be justified with all the different percussion sounds/pitches in the last stream, and with the last 1/4 slider before the kiai you can create a jump. It serves as a small break before the chorus, yet the stream's spacing makes it really difficult and exaggerated to play. This stream is placed spaced as so due to the intensity of this part, it's the final contrast the song provides before the last kiai (which is the most intense in almost every song). Think of this as the words that artists say before the drop in an EDM song. The spacing also changes due to the shift from a lower pitched percussion instrument to a higher one, and it plays amazingly.

- 04:01:762 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - The music does not support such a strong increase in spacing. Yes it completely does. The impact the percussion provides is more than enough impact and is the ultimate climax of the hype in the song. If you think this is a dq'able issue, why wouldn't the spaced stream in iMage--'s Prism Sympathy be dq'able? That stream is in a part of the map way calmer than the part I'm trying to map this stream on, and nobody batted an eye. Same goes with Jenny's Cry Thunder, where they didn't mention those streams at all in places where his reasoning behind his streams were just as good as mine. I don't want to turn this into a jumpy kick slider segment of the map because the way the percussion flows through during this segment sounds a lot better with a spaced stream. I fixed the way it flows to make it a bit more playable, but if this persists as a reason for disqualification (when it really shouldn't.) I rather just grave the map.
- 04:08:962 (8,9,1,2) - Jumps do not match with the tempo of this part.
- 03:04:505 (3,4,5) - A calm part of the song has nothing to do with the jumps used here.
Some of the patterns are organized in a way that leaves the players confused and puzzled. In addition to that, the quality of those patterns is low in our judgement, as they appear unpolished and unstructured.
