i was thinking that osu-mania could become realy fun for difficult levels by having a blinking notes mod- this is where the notes flash on and off the screen Not too fast or too slow with in a reasonable speed. this would then bring out ur true memory skills of notes Abit like hidden but a big more fun any enjoying feature. I found this feature on a game called StepMania it is called the (Blink) mod and on it the notes flash on and off in a fading In and Out type of style.

To avoid being called a salty grammar nazi, I'll skip the mistakes.

Difficult levels on mania are 4.5* and higher and trust me, they don't need mods to be hard.

True memory skills? Like, what kind of skill is that? Like, I know reading, pattern playing, streaming, but memory? Notes are shown for a reason, people who want to memorize maps (which is a suicide imo), can just use Hidden or Flashlight.

We all know what stepmania is, no need to say it's a game. You needn't have said what it is about as you've already stated that this feature is the same.

I don't see it needed but I'll remain neutral because if I said I'm against it, I would be countered with DT, HD and FL's existence.

Um... nope.

Just nope.
HD FIn are good enough to train memory skill.

Even if it could be a nice and fun addition there are many higher priority (and I am not necessarily speaking about star priority here) requests that need to be done first.

lol

Two points:

First, there's no real memorization in Flashlight or Hidden.

Second, lol blink mod. One of the least difficult mods to deal with compared to something like
autoteleology
what the fuck did I just watch

Did you seriously bump a dull and nonsense idea just to say that it's dumb

IF there was the option to not bump the thread, I would have taken it, but I also felt compelled to post.

its ok To post whtever. I know its kinda a crappy request Really but i was just thinking it may be fun to have them blinking (and ur right no memory involved Lol)

It's a strange request but in 4K and 5K, straight stairs, I don't think memory is involved.

But when it come to 6K, 7K, 8K, 9K, 1/4 spreads, complex chord and streams and burst, it would kinda be a hard challenge though, if the blinking last long enough.

Yeah Like the faster The BPM The Faster the blinking = Abit more harder for streaming If u get my point of view
PyaKura
If anything faster blinking makes it easier lmao

Yeah lol the fast BPM the Slower It blinks Or the Longer Hold off time and shorter on time
Rilene
<90 bpm with 7K 1/8 spreads + this mod = memory torture
