I searched if this already existed elsewhere and couldn't find anything. It's a bit difficult to think of terms to find this with, though, so please forgive me if it has been suggested already.
I'd like to see (the possibility to have) alternative sprites for 100 and 50 hits, depending on whether you hit a beat too early or too late. That way, you could see at a glance what you were doing wrong in the middle of gameplay. Default skin versions of this could either use different colors, or maybe a small plus and minus to work better for the colorblind.
