1. Go to the options and navigate to the skin section. Click on "open skin folder" and look for the file "skin.ini". If you don't have it make one by saving a notepad document as "skin.ini"
2. Open the file skin.ini in notepad and search for the line "Version:" and change the number after it to "1". If you made the file freshly add the following:
   

   [General]
   Version: 1

3. Save the document and reload your skin (Ctrl + Shift + Alt + s) or restart osu!.

If you looked into your skin.ini file, you should see "Version:" with a capital V You should set the skin.ini's version to 1.

Just like this:

Version: 1

Pretty sure mixed elements refers to taking elements from other skins you didn't make and using them in your skin.

Hitcricleoveraly - use it to make your hitcircle readable! It isn't affected by combo colours so you can make them in whatever way/colour you want.

check the "Show Thumbnail" in options. Also make sure that your skin is Version: 2.2 and above if checking it doesn't work
