video codecs

hi, first timne posting and playing this crazy game

i notice that when i'm enter a game to play, appears at the chatbox (bottom) video codec errors.

what that means?

Hey there, welcome to osu!

Those error messages you are recieving are due to the fact that osu! by itself (along with your current codecs) are unable to read the video's code. If I may remedy this situation for you, click the Downloads tab up top of the page, and download whats known as ffdshow. This should solve most video errors.

I get the error with some videos, some show just fine.

I downloaded and installed ffdshow, but that did not fix the problem. That might have to do with the wrong settings, though. I did say it should work for every program, not just the list presented during installation.
