Also, someone should SERIOUSLY REMAKE MORI NO KUMASAN URA; I'm playing it with paperhacks right now, and was expecting to FC it, but there are a lot of parts that are off by around 1/4 or something, and that some of the notes are actually unauthentic. If someone could please make a fixed version using the HS hacks so that the timing isn't screwed up or something...?

If you listen to the hitsounds in editor you'll notice that some parts sound off, REALLY OFF. One of those parts I could remember is sequence 13-15, where I noticed some random kkdk shit when it was supposed to be dkd... (I'm referring to the wikihouse entry btw)

That's weird, I remember memorizing the wikihouse chart and still getting 300+ combo in the initial run. flyboy messed a few parts up, that means. Oh wait, Zekira, check the mp3. Is it stereo?

The MP3 is stereo, but... suspiciously the left and right waves are almost exactly the same... I'm thinking that it got recorded on stereo via a device that only has 1 channel. I dunno, the left and right readings are just too identical to call it a stereo

Also, I was finally able to softmod my Wii to a point that I can play ISOs from an XHDD...

...yes and if you've noticed that I haven't been online today, it's because I WAS PLAYING TAIKO WII and WII2 OLOLOLOL

But damn is it hard to play on the Wiimote... I think my thumb went numb after trying Ryougen hahahaha

EDIT: Any other things I need to do to unlock everything, aqua? Basically what I'm aiming for is to get 99999 hits then finish the storyline, though I'm not sure if that will unlock everything

Basically that's the method to unlock all the secret songs and costumes. Just keep playing~ 100 gold crowns, 200 gold crowns will net you something too. On Wii1 the crowns will unlock Kare Kano Kanon and Toccata.

My score on Ryougen with Wiimote is 765k, and on Rotter Ura it's 768k. I can't get any higher :P

I knew I should've gotten myself a Gamecube-styled Wii controller when I was abroad lol D: I could've easily gotten a million >_> So far I only have 768k because the kiai owns me, which shouldn't happen.

200 gold crowns...? WTF, doesn't that mean like getting full combos on almost all songs on all difficulties D: Getting 99999 is shitlong enough D:

I feel sorry for Donko having to take a taste of her own medicine XD ARUMI PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWNCH

...is there a way to replay the scenes because I wanna watch them again XD

I -think- you only need to get 200 crowns,it doesn't matter whether it's gold or not.
BTW,going multi kinda earns you moar don-points..perhaps.So~double play by urself goooooooooo!

It's probably possible to replay them cutscenes in Hakase's lab,and of course there's also Nico Nico Douga :3

Keep in mind in Wii2, because of Ura there's actually 79 songs. And 79 x 4 = 316, so 200 gold is not a lot (even for a particular guy who fails at fullcomboing... ;) ).

Also, once you finish Story mode, I dare you to do the final fight on "super-spicy" (not regular spicy). I assure you, you will go insane trying to FC it. Even clearing it is as hard as heck.

You'll probably also find the FINAL final boss fight very annoying too, as with the spinning tornado guy. >:(

(If you want to unlock "super-spicy", you have to clear all on regular spicy first.)

There is mekadon95's map which I applied HS for him, but I didn't check authenticity of it.

2) Hkari no Kanata e and Waruru's song are both very different from their regular Oni maps. Prepare for a big time beating XD

The professor's name is Otowa, and the assistant is unnamed.

And there's the -other- assistant from DS2.No name is given to him though.

Speaking of Ni-daime...I've bought it a long time ago,but still haven't got a

Beating Arumi was not too hard...just need to remember the last part and avoid the bombs.
the blue rabbit thing (Sora-I)and the last one was soooo hard...comparing to these monsters
the final boss in DS2 was lot easier.

Oh yeah that is Sora-II...

And yes I just beat Teruru on Hard just recently...

AND THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST FREAKING EVIL ATTACK IN THE ENTIRE SERIES, WHAT THE HELL

At first I thought "oh good, no explosions or anything" but later, "...oh shit now's the time I wish I was colorblind. Seriously"

I have no idea if I'll be able to FC Teruru on Very Hard once I unlock it, because that attack is freaking insane!

I'll probably record a gameplay of me failing at Teruru's Very Hard chart XD

Well actually I think nobody in Namco can pass Teruru in Very Hard Mode.
I'd rather play 4x speed inner RotterTarmination on arcade using my HEAD.

It is just NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN.
DS3 will probably get even harder... who knows.

Oh god...

Someone HAS to give me the entire dialogue (preferably in Hira-Kata-Kanji) of the speeches in the Arumi boss battle.

There's nothing more motivating in mapping to me than having a brilliant idea for a storyboard.

It's unfortunate I won't be able to make a blocking effect using a storyboard, AND I can't put bomb-notes anywhere.

I really just need the entire dialogue of the Arumi fight. Whoever's fluent in listening to Japanese, plz...? Also the translation of each line if you don't mind? (but I think that would be asking too much? Hell no I think SBing would be a bit more difficult OTL)

Also I need to know who to put in the Artist textbox lol.

I will be persistent and try to rip as much images as I can. My major problem would be ripping the BG image of the Matsuri since Don and Arumi are kinda blocking the view lol.

That invisibility rabbit is one of the EASIEST bosses on Geki-Kara (or Intense, as I call it). That's because of the easiness of the song, really, but its distraction is basically Doron mode.

IMO this is the difficulty order:
1. Arumi-chan. That damn song is 4 minutes long, and they actually put bombs IN the long, horrible strings?
2. Dr. Waruru. It's mainly because of the distraction, otherwise I can easily defeat this guy.
3. The tornado robot. Akugan ac 12.5 is a hard enough song, but with HS combined with bombs? D:
4. The fire robot. Flames covering half the screen + HS 2 = no fun.
5. The ice robot. It's a slow song, but stupid ice, and lol bombs in strings.
6. The smashing robot. I actually golded this on my first try... but it's still sometimes annoying.
7. The invisibility rabbit. It's not as hard as it looks, actually, since I play a lot of Doron mode.
8. The sound robot (or chicken?). Though the song itself is easy and the distraction doesn't block a lot of view, the distracting sound is scary...
9. The double-headed robot. Muzukashii makes this very easy.
10. Mekadon. Same case as above.

So actually I was talking about Waruru, the EVIL SCIENTIST

by the way I think Waruru is harder than arumi..the middle part of hikari no kanata e is just like oxxxoxxxoxxxo---oxxoxxoxxoxx,which
can be remembered. The rockman thing was really easy, and the robot for ac12.5 also easy too.

Waruru is much harder :| It's completely different from regular Oni and even with bombs you have to do the crazy 1/6 stream at the end.

Waruru is much harder
I haven't gotten to Very Hard, but I agree. Arumi's attack isn't really that strong, the song is just insanely long.

I finally finished all the Oni Bosses...

And I did see what you meant by Waruru being SHITHARD. Took me 3 tries before I could take him down, wtf.

Arumi wasn't that difficult at all, I could FC everything until the last attack wave (Hikari's same last pattern on the short ver., but on Baisoku), but I'm getting close to FCing that too since the bombs actually compliment my style of play on those lol. Arumi's blocking isn't really that much if you're looking from the top of your TV :>

So I have almost everything unlocked on Wii2, just need to get that 200 crown thing and maybe finish all the Challenges too? I'm not sure what songs I'm missing though... Is it H.Sai? Punishment? IDK

And now I can grope at watching the scenes over and over and over again, though IS THERE A FREAKING WAY TO REMOVE THAT "PRESS + BUTTON TO SKIP SCENE" THING?! I really want to record the scenes and convert them to videos for PC use, for anyone who needs them, but that thing is GETTING IN THE FREAKING WAY. I'm almost tempted to transfer my save file to the SD card for a while and start a new file just so that I could record the scenes :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :|

I'm also kinda getting a bit scared at my attempts to rip some of the images for SB use on HnKH, but I just HAVE to do it... That epic battle really needs to be recreated.

But first I need to fix up this computer of mine dsfasdfasdfasdf, I've been working on it for 3 days and still not running on the correct software >_< So yeah no progress as of the moment on anything for me.

EDIT: It would be epic if The 8 (9? 7? I can't count lol) Warumekas, or at least 1 of them (Arumi) makes an appearance, or just a cameo, in DS3. Also Wii3 (yes I'm such a fanboy :D )

EDIT2: Did anyone else notice that Angel Dream's Inner Muzukashii (Tatsujin) closely resembles Oni?

Let me give you an explanation about inner maps on Wii2.

Kantan, Futsuu, and Muzukashii will ALWAYS have this Tatsujin map thing. As you may notice, Tatsujin difficulty = 1 difficulty higher on the regular map. This means Angel Dream (Ura) on Muzukashii Tatsujin = Angel Dream on Oni.

Of course, there are exceptions. One is the Bachi Osensei song, it is a longer version. The other is Rotter Tarmination, it is basically a big note version of the same difficulty (not 1 above).

Also, getting 200 crowns unlocks Senpuu no Mai (now you know where that 9-star song came from!), and 300 playcount unlocks Hayasaitama 2000.

I still can't FC Ryougen on the Wii2 and my 1 Button is already freaked up. Crapcrapcrap

Also, who here actually tried using the Wii TaTaCon? I just want to know about its functionality, and if its actually usable? I want to know before I get one

Next, my DVD Recorder is a jerk and recorded everything I recorded from the Wii in 720x480 resolution, which isn't even 4:3 or 16:9... I need to apply some hax before I can rip the images off.

Also, I was supposed to put some new pseudo-userbars here, but I completely forgot to take a screenshot of Teruru :/

Also, no one's still telling me what to put on the artist metadata for Hikari no Kanata He D: Yes I cannot find it, actually.

Tatacon for wii is a piece of crap, really.
I bought it for 3000yen and I think it doesn't worth that price
I cannot even fc saitama2000 with it. I'd rather use my remote. By the way, classical joypad pro
is better to use because it feels more like DS.

BTW,there are people who play Ryougen (and possibly Hataraku) on x4 speed.Crazy.

I had my D-Pad repaired once. The right button got killed off by me grinding X-DAY 2000.

As for Hikari, the artist is Tanimoto Takayoshi. Also the artist behind many of the other obscure songs in Taiko.

However, there is a huge defect with the classical controller on Wii1: the +pad double-registering problem.

This problem is so apparent that it makes FCing songs with the classical controller impossible.

By classic controller, you mean a GC controller or that specialized Wii controller that looks like a GC Controller? I'm actually having annoying problems with the Wiimote as I'm not used to pressing Don-Katsu using that 1 and 2 Buttons, since my PS2 setup is that Square is Don and Triangle is Katsu, which is Left-Up and not Left-Right...

If you've been following my posts, you'll know that I suspended all of my current mapping activity at the moment to make way for SBing Wii2's Boss Stage 8. So far I'm still ripping the stuff I recorded, and next step is to keep on cutting off screenshots for images and etc. etc.

It's that specialized Wii controller.

Actually, about that registering problem, it only happens on the 1st Wii Taiko, not the 2nd Wii Taiko.

Toccata, Kare Kano Kanon are unlocked by crowns. 99999 gives you the mother load of 2000 songs. Most of the rest of the songs are unlocked through story.

Speaking of Wii1...it's quite a long time since I last played it..unlocked pretty much everything
though ('cept Sudden Death)
