Fire up osu!, go to options, search for skin settings, and find an option to export the skin as osk file.

Then you can find the osk file in the Exports folder in your osu! directory.

Sorry for the double post, but how long do you normally have to wait for newly ranked maps to be available on osu!record? I tried uploading a play of TwoThirds & Feint ft Veela - Epiphany, which was ranked on the 28th Feb, but the program didn't recognise it (probably because it was too recent). How often is the program updated usually? Thanks.

And i can't upload replays of some beatmaps. the video got proccesed, but when i open it in youtube i get the error "you don't have the beatmap for this replay" or something like that. Halp(?

  2. Is there a way to disable the effects like storyboard, combo bursts etc.? I just want to have full dimmed background without this stuff

What's the licensing for this like, currently? It's definitely a marvelous concept, if the licensing for this is pretty shut-out I may have to redevelop for personal use haha but kudos on the project.

The osu record did not have the best map so it just recorded the home screen for the duration

I love idea of it but it's almost impossible to upload a single replay, I tried so hard and always someone uploaded it faster than me. :/

Hum...there's a bug. When I try to record, OsuRecord says: '' osu! has stuck on 'checking for new files' so recording has been aborted to save resources.''.

Any explanations?

I'm not sure if it must be RANKED or not to work.

Would been a really good idea if some day you add a little chat service for the osu!recorder website as you can, mostly for these people that are new can read if it's working or not. For an example I know when it will work or not, by only seing if the last submited video has sucuessed or not, bui seems that most people tries on this situation in which the last submit failed and of course they gain another failure video that only shows the osu's mainscreen in the whole video.

Today osu ! record does not work as it should. What happened? Each of my replays ends with the image of the main menu osu ! I even tried to process these maps that are already on YouTube , the result of the same

I am having same issues as you guys, I found that using my own skin (I always upload this one, its an .osk file that I use for long time only for osu!record) ends with video only showing the score screen. I tried without using skin and it worked. I guess will have to work with that till it goes back to normal.

I still can't get it to work with or without a skin unfortunately, it always just gives me a video of the menu screen. It's a great service but just a bit buggy - any chance of a fix, Mr Darkimmortal? :)

EDIT: Just as I say that I'm able to upload another song with a skin. The song I'm trying to upload that wont work, DJ THT - Head Over Heals (Rave), has definitely been uploaded by people using the program before so I'm not entirely sure why it won't work.

I had one issue repeatedly, you never had the beatmaps I had even after the replay and my skin was uploaded, so when the video was published it was literally just the main menu screen. The map is ranked T_T my pc cannot record nuuuuu pls fix

One problem, if you got "Someone's already using the system, wait your turn" message, no chances that you're going to be next
osu!record just doesn't notices you
so, i can freely upload my replay without skin
but when i'm trying to upload it with skin, other replay is being recorded this time, and when osu!record is free, nothing happens ;-;

I have recently found that the recording will ignore all the settings users made such as disable combo burst. Besides the font setting, it disable the colouring settings in "skin.ini"also, btw I don't think I am the only one who have found the bug ;w;

I've recently made a video which is my first one :D (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu0N1WiRrc0) using osu!record and noticed that it ignored all settings. I thought it was supposed to be like that, but after I read your comment clearly that is not the case.

I personally don't mind if it's gonna be like this, but having a toggle or just in general the thingy remembering settings would be awesome ;)

Ok it used to ignore all settings which was not really a big deal, but now it ignores the skin as well??

The map I played had it's own skin, but I of course use my own which I also input into osu!record like always, but it disregarded that as well and every time I upload that map replay it just uses the crappy map skin :cry: .

I double checked my skin in-game , outside of game and the .zip of the skin as well.

Actually as a !mania player with an old laptop i'm used to use osu !ecord to upload records but there is a fact...
I don't know if you actually know this problem but it's quite big
In osu!mania you can use 2 different scroll type
BPM Scroll and the scroll without using the bpm system (idk how to call it)
The problem is that when you uppoad your !mania replay if it's with the "Another Scroll" the video will apear with the bpm scroll but the value of the scroll is the same as the replay and (since the "another scroll" need a bigger number than the bpm) the replay will apear too fast to being red and that's problem for those of us who use the "Another scroll"
so my question is:
Can you add to the site an option where can allow you to use the "another scroll" in the replays you upload ?

Thanks in advice and sorry for not being able to write in a proper english (i'm aiming to improve it )

Please I would like to record my plays for UNRANKED Beatmaps , and also there are some beatmaps that when you try to download normally (They are ranked) osu! redirects your to a webpage saying that the download content is unavailable like this beatmap for example https://osu.ppy.sh/s/19705

I really would like to thank you for this kind of thing and I think Peppy should implement your services in an auto feature in osu!

It seemed all of the ranked U.N Owen was Her songs can't be uploaded. :(

There is no queue system. Once you see that nobody's using the service, then you should upload your replay and it will work.

Well, i entered the page and i put my .osr file there but, the problem is when i try to upload, but it says: "pls upload .osr file"

Back again now, seems the Kimsufi box it runs on might be starting to fail. Hopefully not as they (OVH) no longer offer any servers with adequate GPUs at sensible prices...

When the recorded is busy (by another player) will the replay i upload be in a queue ?

edit : i have my answer now (too bad honestly because upload without skin for being more faster than anyone :s )

there is a upload problem for one of my replays, he doesn't want to begin the replay and say that he doesn't have the Beatmap (but it looks like he have it since he run the song)

Unless you uploaded a skin through the form, yes, it is supposed to use the default skin.

Can the aspect ratio of the recording be changed? I don't really like the 4:3 aspect ratio of the recording, maybe you could add an option that would make it 16:9 aspect ratio.

Dunno if this is really hard to program into, but adding an option to select a skin to use with the recorder would be amazing.
But even without it this is perfect for me as I got a low spec pc xD

I think its broken again.

When I try to upload map I just see this

Aww, of course I found this at the perfectly wrong time. A few days earlier and I would have been able to upload my replay. Hope it gets fixed soon.
