Ok it used to ignore all settings which was not really a big deal, but now it ignores the skin as well??

The map I played had it's own skin, but I of course use my own which I also input into osu!record like always, but it disregarded that as well and every time I upload that map replay it just uses the crappy map skin :cry: .

I double checked my skin in-game , outside of game and the .zip of the skin as well.

Actually as a !mania player with an old laptop i'm used to use osu !ecord to upload records but there is a fact...
I don't know if you actually know this problem but it's quite big
In osu!mania you can use 2 different scroll type
BPM Scroll and the scroll without using the bpm system (idk how to call it)
The problem is that when you uppoad your !mania replay if it's with the "Another Scroll" the video will apear with the bpm scroll but the value of the scroll is the same as the replay and (since the "another scroll" need a bigger number than the bpm) the replay will apear too fast to being red and that's problem for those of us who use the "Another scroll"
so my question is:
Can you add to the site an option where can allow you to use the "another scroll" in the replays you upload ?

Thanks in advice and sorry for not being able to write in a proper english (i'm aiming to improve it )

All working again now, also performance should be improved a little

Please I would like to record my plays for UNRANKED Beatmaps , and also there are some beatmaps that when you try to download normally (They are ranked) osu! redirects your to a webpage saying that the download content is unavailable like this beatmap for example https://osu.ppy.sh/s/19705

I really would like to thank you for this kind of thing and I think Peppy should implement your services in an auto feature in osu!

Can you help? I have tried uploading twice but it won't work. :(

It seemed all of the ranked U.N Owen was Her songs can't be uploaded. :(

There is no queue system. Once you see that nobody's using the service, then you should upload your replay and it will work.

Hi, i have a problem with osu!record.

Well, i entered the page and i put my .osr file there but, the problem is when i try to upload, but it says: "pls upload .osr file"

There's a solution to this problem?

it looks like Darkimmortal might have stopped the service temporarily.

Back again now, seems the Kimsufi box it runs on might be starting to fail. Hopefully not as they (OVH) no longer offer any servers with adequate GPUs at sensible prices...

When the recorded is busy (by another player) will the replay i upload be in a queue ?

edit : i have my answer now (too bad honestly because upload without skin for being more faster than anyone :s )

there is a upload problem for one of my replays, he doesn't want to begin the replay and say that he doesn't have the Beatmap (but it looks like he have it since he run the song)

Unless you uploaded a skin through the form, yes, it is supposed to use the default skin.

Can the aspect ratio of the recording be changed? I don't really like the 4:3 aspect ratio of the recording, maybe you could add an option that would make it 16:9 aspect ratio.

Dunno if this is really hard to program into, but adding an option to select a skin to use with the recorder would be amazing.
But even without it this is perfect for me as I got a low spec pc xD

I think its broken again.

When I try to upload map I just see this

Aww, of course I found this at the perfectly wrong time. A few days earlier and I would have been able to upload my replay. Hope it gets fixed soon.

For some reason newer maps (ranked 1/4/2015 or onwards? Not sure I didn't have so many replays to try xD) don't record. It just shows the osu! bumping button instead..

Do i just wait or what? first time using this program cause dxtory decided not to like osu today.

What? Why would you do that? This completely ruins my ability to use osu!record to showcase my skin. :?

Why even bother allowing people to upload skins if you're not going to use the skin.ini? This makes basically every skin that doesn't use the default skin.ini looks terrible.

They all look terrible anyway compared to the default skin

Might just remove the skin uploading feature if that's how it is. It definitely is not possible to allow skin.ini files to reach osu or things break, believe me I've tried

You might think this sounds spiteful, but you really should remove user skin uploading if you don't plan on supporting skin.ini. It completely breaks half the function of most skins, and makes most reasons for uploading skins to the service moot. If a full user skin cannot be supported, it's best everyone uses the default skin.

If you can find a way to use skin.ini's, great. In the meantime, I won't be using this anymore. It's easy enough to just send someone a replay file for what this can do.

Simply retry uploading. That sounds like an error at google's end that should disappear once you retry.

I really love this service but at the same time I find it confusing and don't completely understand why things do/don't work.

1) I realized only ranked maps would be recorded but how long do I have to wait for a ranked map to be eligible? I tried uploading a map ranked in April of this year and it failed.

2) Sometimes it finds the beatmaps and runs smoothly but just ends up recording the home screen instead of my replay. It always happens with the same replays and I have no idea if it's my fault or the system messing up. Is there a way I can fix this?

If someone could answer these questions i would greatly appreciate it because I'm very confused.

check the bottomright of the video at the beginning for an error message. Here, done! You now know what's causing your issue. if it's because there wasn't any map for that replay, it means that it's a known bug with an unknown cause that won't likely be fixed in the near future.

looks like osu!record is broken again. The resolution is weird looks like stretched or something and when I upload the map it does catch another map. No sense.

The Osu record is no longer working. It keep's saying that the beatmap needed is not installed even though at the point when it checks for the beatmap it is there. It only shows a beatmap by Owl City

My only complaint is that it can't download unranked maps. I just saved a perfect replay and now I can't upload it to youtube without messing up the video by doing it myself..

osu! gets to the beatmap but when it starts to load into the replay it crashes

This dosent work in downloading beatmaps because on the live display, it asks you what to use for default browser... so it dosent download anything and gets stuck, the administrator of the system needs to set the default browser
