North America osu!standard Tournament 2015! ([Toy] Wins!)

Welcome to North America osu!standard Tournament 2015! This tournament is open to all players in The United States, Canada, Mexico, United States Territories and all other countries in the North America region. A list of North American countries can be found here.


1st Place: [Toy]
2nd Place: Azer
3rd Place: Natalia
4th Place: Ritzeh


Starting Date: June 6th

Information regarding how the tournament will be set up: These are subject to change before the tournament starts.
  1. The tournament will consist of 1v1 matches.
  2. First round matches will be seeded by pp rank.
  3. This will be a Double Elimination Tournament.
  4. Each match, your multiplayer room will consist of one referee.
  5. You can choose any map pertaining to the round itself.
  6. The times of the matches will be decided between you and your opponent. Failure to show up at the agreed time results in disqualification.
  7. Each match will consist of a minimum of 4 games and a maximum of 7 games (3 maps chosen by each participant with an additional tiebreaker map if it comes to that) meaning that it takes 4 wins overall to be victorious.
  8. Selection of mod-specific brackets is limited. Each player can only select one map from each mod-restricted bracket during match. So each player can pick 1 HardRock, 1 Hidden and 1 DoubleTime map during match.
  9. Tiebreaker maps will allow freemod.

Please follow this format for creating your multi-player matches. I would suggest replacing the team 1 name and team 2 name with the bracket names.



Here's an example with Azer vs Chippy
NAT2015: (A1) vs (A64)

Note: The players must be in slots 1 and 2 (in this case Azer in slot 1, and Chippy in slot 2)

(p.s. don't forget to make the game team vs.)
  1. Switch to the default skin.
  2. Creates the room with an appropriate Match title.
  3. Save the link to the multiplayer history.
  4. Set the match to Team Vs mode.
  5. Remain host during all maps and use the multiplayer chat to take each player's requests.
  6. Do not skip the intro and do not participate in the match.
  7. Screenshot (Shift+F12) the results of each match.
  8. Create a post containing the match title, history and screenshots afterwards.

  1. First Prize: 1 Year Supporter + A Profile Badge (Thanks to KinomiCandy)
  2. Second Prize: 6 Months Supporter
  3. Third Prize: 3 Months Supporter
  4. Top 8 (Quarterfinalist) Guaranteed spot in NAT 2016

At what date is the "top performers" metric calculated since people can gain pp after signing up?

Map suggestions are still open until the end of the signup phase. Suggestions may be used to flesh out rounds with maps the community would like to see.

There has currently been over 50 player applications filled out, only two of which are spam. Please only submit a registration form if you are serious, as I don't want to have to enable the google account requirement.

Our situation for commentating and streaming is still in the works. As far as I know, Tasha will be streaming and Me and Lust were going to commentate. But I don't mind having others with us.

We won't be streaming until the quarterfinal rounds, like last year.

If every top NA player is applying I don't think you can get in if your not sub 1k if the cap is 64, and that's being optimistic. Believe in the grind, you got 2 weeks.

With over 175 entries now slowing down to a crawl, I think it's safe to say that the cutoff point for the top 59 players looks to be around #1100, but this may change over the next few days. Five out of eight of last years quarterfinalists have accepted their reserved positions, hence 59 positions.

Do note that the map pool submission form and the referee form are still open.
