Last night Marie texted me. I called her back to see what it was about, only to find out she drunk texted me, and she was already pretty buzzed by that point. But that’s only the beginning. She told me what she was doing. Wanna know what it was?

I was deeply exploring the osu! boards hoping to find something to keep me occupied (curse my mother for password protecting our computer…) until Marie called me an our later, stoned and drunk out of her mind. That’s right, she tried pot for the first time. A lot of it. Not to mention drunker than I’ve ever heard her. (I’ve never actually seen her drunk, but I’ve gotten many a drunk dial.) She hangs up to go party more, only to drunk dial me again, and all I can hear is

[Doug]… baby… don’t leave me…[Doug!!] *insert sound of puking into a toilet*

OK so apparently, Dougie over there doesn’t want to be near Marie when she needs comforting. I was half tempted to putting on my shoes and walking over to her house (despite her living two exits up the Northway…) but she didn’t want me to.

Eventually she somehow managed to get to her bedroom when I hear her crying and complaining about how drunk and stoned she is, and how she’s never done this before, she feels like she is going to pass out, *click* . Haven’t heard much from her since, but I texted her before school to see how she’s feeling.

I’m surprised her sister (who is also a senior, like me) actually made it to school.

She willingly drank poison, and then threw stones at herself? I'd leave, too. D:

Ranting is good fun and all, but personally I'm just incapable of, shall we say, "opening up to people" - the stuff I like to bitch about is generally something that affects me indirectly, such as how the city I'm living in has little regard/respect for cyclists (I nearly get hit by a car > 3 times a week on average. Oh, and I bike on the sidewalk). So dem's me thoughts.

Stones have nothing to do with it, this community is the reason. I can't imagine someone posting a topic like this on 4chan or IGN.

I think that when you compare your life to that of other people's, you start feeling depressed. But with online users, you can be at ease, since the main focus is the topic at hand, and since you don't know them directly, you don't feel envious, and you don't get offended as easily.

That's why I'm here and not 4chan or Gaia. You guys are the best. Yea, I'm going to Vermont for college, and I can't go anywhere but up, so I'm just waitin'.

BTW i think I'm on osu! more often than any of the other message boards i'm on, including my own.

Same here, as of late. I'm surprised how tame the osu! community is, too. Forum moderation's a pretty easy task most of the time.

It's so easy I don't even need to mod.

However, I WOULD start to mod if someone, ANYONE, would make a torrent with all the latest beatmaps, for my own ranking needs. <_<
