-Really overdoing it with the kiai, I saw earlier in the thread you said you turned it down....but it is still too much. Remove it during any breaks and any other places that it isn't really needed. I also recommend starting your main kiai at 00:56:771
-Make sure to include some sort of cursor trail in the folder to go with your custom cursor
-Delete the default . , x % in your folder, only the score ones ever show up in game
-Combo bursts are not allowed to go over 500 width (yours are all currently 600)
-Interesting idea with the hp bar

EDIT: investigated a bit, and I discovered the custom sound is the same as the one that the touhou skin uses for combobreaks. I don't think it's a good idea, because it wouldn't fit as a hitsound. Hitsounds are generally drum samples, claps or whistles. The sound sample here is a lot more complicated, and doesn't fit the song to me - it's actually very surprising, so much so that I had to pause the game and restart it half a dozen times to realize that I didn't combobreak.
Then again, it's a special case because I happen to use that sound for combobreaks. But I'm sure many people would be surprised about that sound and either combobreak right after that surprising sound.

The custom normal-hitfinish.wav is pretty much the worst hitsound ever, especially since it's the same as the combobreak sound in a popular skin.

Combo colors 2 and 5 are incredibly difficult to see, especially with the video. Change them to something lighter.

Timing:

+10ms to all timing sections

Add the following section:

BPM: 155.00
Offset: 6575

This is needed to fix an unsnapped slider endpoint at 00:06:565 (5) in the magicphoenix difficulty. Make sure to add it in every difficulty though.

Kiai start doesn't really make any sense. You should either begin it at 00:56:771 like the other difficulties, or at 01:08:200 if you really want to start it later. Put the kiai start timing section on top of a note at the very least.

Nice map, allthough i thought the clap hitsound was used very poorly. In my opinion it's better to find a steady rythm when using the clap hitsound.

from here 00:00:162 (1) - to here 00:54:996 (8) - you should remove all claps, and then start using them here 00:57:139 (1) - every other 1/1 beat.

I attached a file to show you what i mean. (note: in the test diff i put claps here 00:40:710 (3) - to here 00:50:710 (4) - but they also sound a little strange because it's not very consistant so disregard them)

Anyways, i'm not asking you to rehitsound your whole map, i just wanted to show you how i would have hitsounded it. In the end, it's up to you on how you hitsound a map so you feel comfortable with it ;)

Anyways, i'm not asking you to rehitsound your whole map, i just wanted to show you how i would have hitsounded it. In the end, it's up to you on how you hitsound a map so you feel comfortable with it ;)
Well, for my maps I can say that I didn't use clap hitsound because I think that it don't fit with the song.
For the other maps (made by cesc and Magicphoenix) I generally agree with you, but they should decide what to do.

EDIT: Magicphoenix agree with your mod and fixed something.

Can you clip the timing sections that start/stop the kiai to the nearest beat so that it triggers at the right time (all the other ones are fine)?
Why is Cescgatari the only one with letterboxing? I guess it won't affect anything but just wanted to throw it out there.

01:08:210 (1) - Is there a reason why this slider is so sharp? It is the only sharp slider in the whole map, and besides sliders looking bad with sharp edges, this one stands out quite a bit. As a result, I suggest you make it a smoother curve unless you have a reason for the edge.

00:20:889 (1) - sharp slider (sharp sliders don't look aesthetically pleasing to me so I am going to point them out, but if you don't want ot change them, I guess they can stay)
00:26:603 (1) - ^
00:41:603 (1) - This is the only multi repeat slider in a lower difficulty with only a half note interval between this and the next note, which is a little bit harder than some of your other sliders. (just wanted to point this out, you don't need to change it)
01:05:353 (9) - sharp slider

Cescgatari:
00:43:746 (2) - the bottom part of the curve is a little shrp for my taste (pointing this out because you seem to care a lot about keeping smooth flowing sliders)
01:01:782 (1,2,3) - I would probably move the new combo to either 2 or 3 to follow the lyrics a little better

Katanagatari:
00:43:389 (5) - flip this over vertically to prevent overlaps?
01:08:746 (2,3,4,5) - With the previous notes here and the full colors, this pattern was a little hard to read imo

Magicgatari:
00:45:353 (4) - new combo to be consistent with 00:39:639 (1)?
01:10:710 (5,1) - there have been a few minor overlaps like this throughout the map, so you might want to fix them (this one probably bothered me the most, so just brought up this one)

Not a bad mapset. Mostly just aesthetic changes. I guess call me up after you fix it and I'll see about a bubble (I wnet pretty easy on the map in terms of overlaps and stuff, but I guess that is fine... (something else annoyed me last time I modded this but I forgot what))

After way too long, comes my remod. (I really should ask someone else to mod it next time if am going to delay a map this long, sorry)

Don't have the documentation for it, but all spinners should have a new combo unless you had a reason to remove it (it is one of those obscure things that is annoying to check, but AIBat can now do. If you don't believe me that this needs fixing, feel free to ask almost any MAT/BAT and they will probably agree with me)

Normal/Aesthetics mod:

  1. It would be nice to change the OD from 8 to 7. It's better because the other insane is already OD8. This will bring better variety in the difficulty across the whole mapset.

  1. 00:06:575 (T) - This red section has 70% volume, which makes the spinner sound weird. Raise the volume to 100% please.

  2. 00:39:103 (1) - This note (and the whole pattern/combo) is quite soon after a spinner, and it's so far away. Please, either end the previous spinner at 00:38:210 or you need to move this note (and probably most if not all of the pattern) much closer to the center of the screen.
  3. 00:55:353 (1) - This spinner is way too short for a normal-like diff. To make it worse, the next note is coming quite soon after it as well. Consider mapping something else here or think of how to make this spinner longer (double length is recommended).

  1. 00:45:353 (3) - I think this is really appropriate spot for a new combo. You even have it in Katanagatari diff (and sort of at kytouryuu diff too).
  2. 00:50:353 (2) - Looking at your other diffs, I'd say you're missing a finish at the slider end.
  3. 00:55:174 (1,1) - I'm sorry, this is too hard for the easiest diff. Spinner is relatively short for an easy and with combination of the next note coming this soon I just can't let it go. ;~; You will have to change this somehow. I suggest changing the slider 00:54:817 (3) into a hitcircle at 00:54:817 and then a new long slider which starts at 00:54:996 and ends somewhere where the spinner is currently ending.
  4. 01:12:139 (1) - I am against this spinner because 01:13:924 (1) comes sort of really soon after it. This is an awesome spot to map a slider though, because of the rhythm. If you try mapping a slider which starts at 01:12:139 and then repeats at 01:12:674 and ends at 01:13:210 (or just a regular slider + circle, up to you), you will see that it fits the rhythm of the music perfectly.
  5. 01:16:782 (5) - New combo please.
That's about it! Easier difficulties really need those changes so they are more forgiving for the less skilled and newer players, but overall I think the diff spread is really nice. Contact me after you make the changes and I should be able to rank this, as this isn't anything major, just the basic concept gone wrong.

Am I the only one having offset issue with this map ?

Sorry for the necropostand it's probably to late for that, but it really bug me, if anyone pass by this thread with the same problem.

I kept being at a strange 80~85% while this map didn't feel hard, then I changed the audio offset to +15ms and got directly a 97%. It's the only map where I meet this.
