Maybe put the starting offbeat with the vocal as a slider then follow up with normal beats to get the player in the right rhythm to finish the phrase. It would ugly up the visual pattern a bit, though. Not worth it imo, i'll leave it as that for now

In general, I really think you should follow the lyrics more in this difficulty. At this point of game play level, you can reasonably expect the player to be able to play syncopated rhythms. What are syncopated rhytms? some kind of masterpiece psychopath killing patterns?
