I would join if I knew anything about PSN/PS3... I'm just using my roommates PS3. I've only touched a PS3 once....Rolled wrote:

This is sadly too true. I took two hours making something and it was still absolute crap and only I could finish it since it was full of traps you never saw until it was too late. But my bro and I had fun failing at it so...Seibei4211 wrote:
Creating crap is a long and arduous process if you want to make something halfway decent.
Basically, the fights are just designed a fuck load better.Seibei4211 wrote:
The first game was pretty much harder than the sequel. Not much has changed about the combat in the second one in terms of the guns and stuff, but grenades are on the L2 button and don't need to be aimed and have an actual radius, there are different enemies with different amounts of health and crap, and there's a lot more opportunity for stealth. Everything else is pretty much the same though, except for an extra reload button.
I found both GoW1 and 2 to be pretty easy on Normal, a mild challenge on Hard, and so buttfuckingly difficult on the hardest difficulty that I don't play through it.xXSupanoobXx wrote:
it's not as hardcore as GOW1 or 2 when you need to over 20 tries just to get past one part.
So since you've played RoF, I have a question that's been stuck with me since the demo.Ivalset wrote:
What do you want to know about it? I thought it was a pretty excellent game, recently finished my second playthrough of it. It's not really heavy on story, but the characters are awesome, and the gameplay is a bit strategic and is some form of pseudo turnbased. Difficulty curve is pretty steep until you get a hold of the battle system, though.
Hey, it looks like I lucked out on putting disgaea 3 purchase off. Price dropped from $40 new to $20 new. Literally happened like yesterday or a couple days ago, and I was considering buying it, but decided to wait until I finished my Resonance of Fate playthrough. Quite fortuitous indeed!
Actually I was talking about the obstacles, where in GoW1 and 2 they were harder to get past. In GoW3 the hardest obstacle was at that turning room with spikes.awp wrote:

Technically he is.Seibei4211 wrote:
But that doesn't really count. That's like calling Philip J. Fry 1,000+ years old.
Of course you would get what I meant.awp wrote:

Ha ha, you old hag!
This is what happens when English dubs pop up.Seibei4211 wrote:
Cherub Crown thing kinda does help, especially if you suck and take forever to beat the guy. I think the story started going downhill after they started using the phrase "fal'Cie smoke and mirrors." Makes me wonder how much of the game was actually "fal'Cie smoke and mirrors."
No? At least not this one. Some nice 3rd person shooter, RPG action. Booya!awp wrote:
Isn't Alpha Protocol an old game?
What are you doing using Leo? The best choice is obviously Don.awp wrote:
Fuuuuuckin' hell Leonardo is OP. Beat the game on Hard without dying.
Yeah Croc's section went a little too long.Seibei4211 wrote:
Killer Croc kinda sucked, too. Pop up, batarang, walk, pop up, batarang, walk, etc. Scarecrow's parts were only lame cause you read the hype and skewed your expectations of it. That part in the morgue was pretty cool, too.

It's not actually Qwark, but it sounds exactly like him. And it's a 15 hour game. That's longer than more $60 games.RL Link wrote:
No, through the Quick Look I saw enough about how the game is like. Gameplay wise and voice acting(Yes, even knowing that DeathSpank is actually Quark, I mean what?). Thing is Gameplay like that can never keep me playing forever. If it was longer I would buy it, though.
I've played Conker, but I was really, really young when I played it, so it was a really hard game and I didn't get very far. Most of the humor was probably lost on me, too, since I didn't understand innuendo.awp wrote:

btw if you want a funny game play Conker's Bad Fur Day as it is the funniest video game ever created. For mature audiences only.
Except I just bought a 80+ hour game for 30 dollars, so I'm currently busy with that.Seibei4211 wrote:

You'll probably disagree, but I want it to be in 3d, sprites were fun, but they don't good anymore in HD.Seibei4211 wrote:
