Have you tried switching to the default skin yet.
So ever since the update, my cursor has been having problems when I tap. Considering I hover to circles and tap on the circles this is a really big issue. Basically, my cursor "sticks" to a certain area. I've tried everything from updating tablet drives and disabling mouse buttons. This also happened to me when i tried out cutting edge... As shown in the video, the cursor doesn't look like a natural jump, more of a straight unhuman jump.

Same for me, before this update that kept happening to me when i opened osu before connecting the tablet, but now if i touch the tablet, like in the video, it like freezes for some miliseconds in that position, like if it were doing a click... where it shouldn't have i think.B e n wrote:

I have a problem with my beatmaps since the latest cutting-edge update. Around 2 hours ago, I updated Osu! and I got an error (I clicked it away, but it said something like there is a problem with some beatmaps). After osu! started, all of my beatmaps were reset and my Collections are gone now.

I don't know if it's because of the lastest version, but I do have the lastest one now. it's like the screen can't follow my fingers, when I hold them down on the screen. I have checked my computer and it doesn't have any problems when i am not in osu!.
please help i really like osu! and want to play it.

Try activating the "OS tabletPC support" option. This on the latest version should fix your issues. If it's already enabled try disabling it.AmaSIngh wrote:

.NET notification appears multiple times if I go to song selection then back to title screen. And remains there for a really long time (~10 minutes). Also, I have windows XP on a really old (8 years old) computer, there is no way to install 4 on it, or at least not the one from the link.

But I can't install it. .NET 4.5 is not supported on XP.
As far as I'm awar, the plan is to target .NET 4.0, which does work on XP and a lot higher percentage of users have, but it seems that 4.5 is being targeted right now. There's probably nothing you can do at the moment - to be fair, XP is no longer supported by Microsoft either, so you should really consider upgrading when possible :p.
Well, if it should work with. net 4.0 then I dunno since I have that as it is the latest. As for the upgrade, that's impossible on an 8 years old laptop with 1 GB ddr1 ram. Any newer system will eat that in a minute.

So on the latest build, the beatmaps are processed after selecting a song and then the // songs come up https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/2697693 , which I think is just my problem being that they're always in editor, and then after trying to choose a song again, the beatmaps get processed over and over again (after it does a 2 second process of some of the songs it repeats.)

Not sure if this is just me but every time I try and select a song, all my beatmaps get processed, and music does not play anywhere. Also, beatmaps can't be loaded including replays, etc.

It was an update that went wrong. Should be fixed now, just re-update your osu! (you'll have to full process one more time after updating to fix it)

I can't seem to update to it from Cutting Edge; in-game gives an error trying to download, and trying to update outside of the game says there's an internet connection issue.

Unable to open the song folder through File -> Open Song Folder in the editor.
Changing resolutions will cause the screen to black out permanently until you restart the game, the size doesn't change until you restart as well. tested both 1920x1080 borderless / 1366x768

Are you posting in the right thread? These sound like issues specific to the new ce45 stream.
I used Cutting-edge (experimental) version, not the Cutting-edge (opengl/.net) one. So I think this is the correct spot to post.
The Special Key on Osu! Mania is seemingly broken. It doesn't seem to affect only the spacebar, but it affects all keys bound to the middle key in 1k,3k,5k,7k and 9k mode. It blinks as you hit the button, but it plays no hitsound and it is always a miss.
"New recovery dialog design and features (hold shift while starting osu!)." - Holding shift on startup just leads me to the "Oh no! osu! crashed" window.

I can confirm the middle key issue as well. I swapped down to beta and it works fine, but not in cutting edge.
Not just the middle key - if you have 8k set up so that the first or last key is the special key (7k+1 mode), that won't work either.Lamaredia wrote:

what's the crash text? if you click on the crash dialog it should reveal the full error which you can copy here.flaming wrote:
