Random bubble check.

General:

-- Add "The Devil Is a Part-Timer!" and "moon flower" to tags.

Umi's Easy:

01:09:299 - Missing clap.
01:15:578 (2,1) - Come on, you can improve this blanket :3

1PSA's Normal:

00:04:300 (3) - Extend 1/6 to fit the song please.

Flower's Hard:

01:00:928 (3) - Consider adding one more reverse to fill in 01:01:276.

Insane:

00:59:764 - Consider adding a note here to fit the vocal.

Star for a nice map. Forum pm me after mods get applied.

Are you sure about the snapping in some parts?

xxdeathx wrote:

I am worried that a lot of objects may be snapped wrong to the music (or the offset is off), so if I give a mod post I may be forced to pop it. A lot of objects on the 1/6 tick before the slider, like 00:09:182 (2) - should be snapped to the 1/8 tick at 00:09:212 - you listen to the music at 25% and it sounds closer to 1/8. Also others like 00:06:392 (2) - should be on 00:06:421..

After checking thanks to xxdeathx's post, the ringing sounds from the intro part seems to sound at 1/8. The following is where the sound appears and you need a fix. Extending the slider end wouldn't be mandatory, but better to extend to fit the snap.

00:06:421 - 00:07:817 - 00:09:212 - 00:10:607 - 00:12:003 - 00:13:398 -

Also found an issue at "soft-sliderslide3.wav" which is a mute sound while not being a 0 byte file.

[General]
  1. You must have The Devil Is a Part-Timer! tag. Many people will search this anime/map by the English name. Also all the other ranked maps from this anime have it.
[Normal]
  1. AR5 is much better since it gets a little cluttered with AR4
  2. 00:08:602 (1) - As discussed with Insane, the end should be snapped to 1/8 but i think it's better to end 00:08:950
[Insane]
  1. I think AR9 is too fast for a slow song like this, consider lower AR
  2. 00:07:119 (4) - Sonnyc and I think this should be snapped to 1/8
After you fix snap you may want to get Sonnyc to rebubble and call me back

though I still think tag is unnecessary but..orz fixed all

Sorry, I used wrong timestamp for insane:
00:07:090 (4) - this should be 1/8
00:07:206 (1) - this slider end should be 1/6

Are you reallt sure?

I played this map and found its rhythms are very weird, and discussed with IamKwaN
This song is a kind of general 1/6 song, it's very strange to have some 1/8 rhythm in it.
The snap can't be designed according to some small beats like these, they are not in the main soundtrack, if mapper want to follow these beats, then the whole song's timing is wrong. The timing is based on the drum track. (That 1/8 beats track is random)
mapping is not following beats simply.

In Insane diff:
00:05:724 (4) - This is the instrument's startting beats, why do you think it's 1/8? it's hard to listen which beat it is.
00:07:555 (2) - This is actually 1/6, why is snapped to 1/8 too?
00:07:090 (3) - again this is 1/6

Apart from these, I think this song shouldn't force to have 1/8rhythms, all are 1/6(from music theory). if 1/6 ticks don't have beat, then don't overmap it.

Other than these, soft-sliderslide2.wav is a muted hitsound, but it's not 44byte blank file which is provided by ranking criteria

The mapper was following the beat existing in the song. Snapping it as 1/6 which is actually 1/8 in the song would rather be a problem.
I agree that this song is generally consisted with 1/6, but 1/8 is also placed.

Besides that, soft-sliderslide2 isn't the file provided in the RC. But what RC is written is "Every .wav file must be at least 100ms long to prevent issues with soundcards. If you want a silent/blank hitsound, then you must use a 0-byte .wav file", not we should use the exast file provided there. The point is to use a 0-byte wav file, which matches the attribute with sliderslide2. If you think it needs to get replaced because it's 104bytes bigger, it's like saying we should unrank a map because of an unused .osb file (which is about 200 byte).
Fycho
Sonnyc, I didn't say the hitsound is unrankable, it's not an issue at all. I mentioned it just to tell that if this map get dq'd due to snapping, it will be better to change that as soft-sliderslide.wav and soft-sliderslide3.wav are 44b.

At least please explain these:
00:05:724 (4) - This is the instrument's startting beats, why do you think it's 1/8? it's hard to listen which beat it is.
00:07:555 (2) - This is actually 1/6, why is snapped to 1/8 too?
00:07:090 (3) -

All I can say is that those objects are 1/8.

I guess a QAT should be involved for further conclusion.
TicClick
They're all 1/6, as the whole song is done in 1/6.

Surprisingly, there's no problem with soft-sliderslide2 either, it's equivalent to that one with size of 44 bytes, both of them have zero length.
Explanation
Why is it bigger, you may ask? Because someone (probably the mapper themselves) opened it in a player that automatically fixes all audio files' volume using ReplayGain technology:

But that changes only the level of sound and not the length, still leaving it zero.
