Problem Details:

in solo..when i change the group and sort. .there is no songs displayed or appeared. . is this a bug?

Yeah ! It happens to me too ! I don't know what to do.

I'm using Linux Mint 17 / Wine 1.7 or 1.6.
NVidia proprietary drivers.

PLzzz Fix this ! :'(

this happened to me the first time I opened osu after updating. But I kept spamming filters, and it finally fixed itself. However maps load slower than before for me. (I made another thread for this)

I have the same problem. I was about to make a new thread actually, but then I saw this one. So now I'm commenting just in case someone comes up with a fix for you that I can copy.

I wish I had some way of knowing what's going on.

I also have it sometimes
I'm editing, and I click on group "my maps"
Then I edit
Then I exit editor
Then I exit edit menu
Then I open play (Solo)
Then I switch grouping to "no grouping" (but every grouping should work afaik)
No map appears
Switch back to "my maps"
Switch back to "no grouping"
They all re-appear
Idk what causes this though

To me it happens everytime.

The default open tab when I click Play is recent maps. As I change tab, everything disapears, no matter if I go back on recent maps. I just have to press Back button and repress Play to have my maps back. But only ordered by recent maps... which does not help me ..

The best thing, is that when I do a search, it tells me how many results there are... but nothing displays..

I have similar problem.
When launching the game -> play -> solo, every songs are listed.
If I change mode (to osu mania for example), every songs are still listed.

However, in any of those modes, if I change the grouping or sorting method, all the songs disappear. By default, it's sorted by difficulty and working. If I change to sort by something else, and revert back to difficulty sorting, the song won't reappear. I have to go back to the main menu first.

This bug has been around for quite a few days for me too.

As someone mentioned earlier, I'm also a linux user (wine 1.7.33). I tried the cutting edge version and the bug was still around. I reverted back to standard.

Edit: I made a video describing what I said.

The problem still appears for me.

I just launched osu! as stable version: no changes, refer to the video I posted.
I updated to cutting edge version, relaunch the game, and nothing has changed.

20150116.4 Cutting edge is the version I tested.

Below are some more informations:
Distro: Archlinux, kernel: 3.17.6-1-ARCH
WM: XFWM
DE: XFCE

graphic card: GTX470.
nvidia proprietary drivers (343.36)

wine --version: 1.7.33

Osu! was installed through PlayOnLinux.
I'm nearly certain I made *no* changes to my system (wine or driver updates), and the problem appeared with an update of osu.

My Osu! stable version was: https://osu.ppy.sh/p/changelog?v=b20150109.1

So far it seems only people running Wine on Linux experience this. Is there anybody on windows who gets this?

Looks like I'll setup a linux VM. :P
