- set PreviewTime in all diffs (Menu- Timing--->>Set Current Position as Preview) and make sure that all of difficulty have the same
- delete Creato's name out of tag because it's your map you don't need it ~

Remove "Lunar Clock Luna Dial demetori" from tags.
Uh oh, you seem to have deleted 2 of the background images. When the "xxx.jpg and xxx.jpg files are unused, remove?" dialogue pops up, click No. They're actually the background for the 2 other difficulties.
Comboburst is too wide, max is 500px width.

Lots of little white patches near the edges for skin elements, clean those up?
Don't really like the spinner, since it doesn't give much of a sense of where the center actually is, and how fast it's spinning. As well, the background seems vertically squished.

Jumping from 2 stars to 5 is a bit harsh, consider a middle Normal?

Eh, Easy+ is weird. Is it Easy or Normal?
Unrankably low stack leniency.
This map has countdown different from the other diffs.

01:22:700 (1,2,3) - Awkward sounding repeats...

[Hard]

More like an Insane.

00:42:200 (1,2,3) - Watch spacing; 1-2 and 2-3 are equally spaced, but time-wise, are different.
00:53:075 (1) - Spacing in this section is messed.
01:24:387 (1,1,1) - Don't need so many new combos. I'm also concerned with how the slider heads fall on the off-beats (Red ticks) instead of the white ones, which plays much nicer.
01:27:387 (1,1,1) - ^
01:35:825 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - Very random pattern. (also finishes hurt the ears, including the parts after this)
02:04:700 - This break doesn't make much sense.
02:21:575 (1,1,1,1,1) - Random and unexpected, repeats are concealed by the hitbursts.
02:25:325 - End kiai before the break?

Same comments as before for the last section of the map.

[Insane]

Max score is quite high.

00:25:325 (4) - Totally out of nowhere.
00:36:200 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - ^, and spacing between sliders is inconsistent.
00:48:950 (1,2,3) - Bleh, antijump.
01:00:387 - Remove this break; too short.
01:09:575 - Weird place to start a break, map a bit more.
01:22:700 - Spacing here is ridiculous, make it more reasonable.
01:35:825 (1,2) - Weird timing.
01:37:887 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Weird pattern.
01:42:199 (15,1) - Spacing is way too big already, why this jump mid-stream?
01:46:700 - Stream is way too long, not fun.
01:52:887 (2,3,4) - Inconsistent spacing.

Not going to keep modding this, mostly just the spacing is way too crazy and it feels like a really long stream with a few breaks. I recommend you scrap this difficulty, make Hard your Insane, and map a proper Normal/Hard.

En general no le veo nada "malo" al map excepto que es muy dificil xDD me gusto la cancion y esos blanco,azul y rojo sugestivos xDDDD

El unico detalle sep es que en extra stage son muy rapidos los sliders.

The whole map looks really messy, mostly because of confusing skin elements (like sliderfollowcircle.png, hit50.png, hit100.png which are almost 100% black), but it's about putting notes too.


[Linkred's Mild]

Set the slider tick value to 1. 2 sounds odd.

00:37:887 (2,3) - Spacing. Stack it on vanishing end of the slider or move somewhere else.
00:58:700 (5) - New combo.

I didn't check the whole map, but i have to say that i am impressed o.o

A really great work for a first map, really.

Some suggestions, in the meanwhile:

- Skin:
  • I think you need a spinner, or at least draw a dot to let the player see the centre xD
    cont3.png is not so good, Sakura is squashed xD
- Extra Stage:
  • From 00:28:700 to 00:31:500, the pattern is really ugly in play mode because of the stacking: you should turn stacking down until you don't get that effect or place them a little differently... D:
Kd-star, keep up the good work, maybe i'll make a full mod soon for this one ^^

  1. "touhou" doesn't need to be in tags, since it's already set for source. Also, tags must be the same for all difficulties.
  2. The ending for each map is rather awkward IMO, but I guess you had no choice, since the max score would be too high.
[Skinning]
  1. The files that were mentioned by Kytoxid weren't deleted (or you deleted them but didn't full submit).

  1. Please shrink up the "spinner-circle.png" image to 1x1 or similar, players might have performance issues with that size. BATs might not rank it with a transparent spinner anyway.
  2. Please resize/crop all background images to 1024x768 or similar.
  3. Crop the upper side of the comboburst, it's unnecessary transparency which needs to be deleted.
  4. Maybe write up some numbers in the countdown?
  5. Maybe include a white border for the "Are you ready?" and "Start!" images? They're barely visible right now.

  1. Why is stack leniency set like that? I can understand the sliders, but 00:17:450 (4,5,1) just won't work, since it's unrankable. You could change either these patterns or all those slider stacks.
[Kotomi's hard]
  1. Capitalize the h in "hard".
  2. While the map is technically fine, I suggest you to recheck overall spacing. There were some iffy parts in the map that might need fixing, like 01:03:200 (3,4) for example.
  3. Also, you might want to reduce the finish hitsounds a bit...
[Extra Stage]
  1. The max score attainable is a bit too high, I think... the difficulty is just overmapped.

The spinner is freaking invisible and I can't see the center point. Add a few knives and make the center a little more obvious. Look at Cyclone's touhou skin for an example.
Also, you could make the spinner a clock, with the I, II, III and so on.

Dislike the flashy and distracting silderball and the circle surrounding the sliderball, but that's just my opinion.

Ever downloaded a whole Demetori album before? If you haven't you should :> all their songs are in super high quality and long, so because of that the files are always huge.

Yes, I agree with the statement that the file size is rather large. I would highly recommend that you try and compress some of the files to lower this.

Second off, I have a few problems with the skin.

  1. The HP bar does not animate smoothly and looks sloppy. The actual bar goes over the design of the container.
  2. Same goes for the follow circle, it animates too sloppily.
  3. The score numbers are far too spaced out, and looks like this on a standard 800x600 screen. Note how the last 0 is under the HP bar.
  4. imo, the hitcircle design is unnecessary
  5. This is more of a personal gripe, but the combo burst is way too short. If you could make the demensions 388x767, that would be awesome. If you need to make it wider to scale it, thats fine, but the max is 500x width
  6. There is no point to having a designed spinner-background like that. No one will even see it; all I see is a hand.
Third, both Lunatic and Extra Stage are both 5 stars. Is this really necessary?

Extra Stage:
Feels extremely overmapped and has a max score of 16million. This wont pass ranking like this.

If it's not only me, then I wonder how this can have so much priority. Will redwonload and see if it helps.. otherwise it's probably something wrong with the offset..

To be blunt, I honestly don't see what's so great about this map.

To me, aesthetics don't make a map. That's why I'm so mad about Bad Apple; James's map is far superior to the one with the PV, yet the one with the PV gets all the plays and likes just because it has a PV. SO WHAT. If you want the PV, go to youtube and watch it. If you want to play a beatmap, then go on Osu. James is an awesome beatmapper, yet he doesn't get as much credit for the sole reason that he didn't have the PV.

Same concept here. This map LOOKS great. The skin is pretty and the patterns of the notes look nice.

But in all honesty, the note placements and hitsounds are horrible. I'm sorry, but to me, excessive whistles give me a headache unless done properly. (like in James's Bad Apple)
The stacks are just impossible, frankly. And there are way too many of them.
There's too much of a difficulty jump between hard and lunatic; and in EoSD, the game from which this spawned, difference between hard and lunatic is not so significant.
The part starting at 1:46... really, I'm just disappointed. That's my favorite part of this song, yet it's done terribly. You just used the same clap patterns repetitively and the same note patterns as well. I can't believe you had 2:25-2:28 as a break. That's like... the crux of the song, that one moment of sheer chaos that every one of Demetori's songs has.
The same clap patterns were used for pretty much the entire song, really, and it gets boring having to follow the same pattern repetitively.
And the EXACT same note patterns were used in the choruses of the song. You just flipped them.

To sum it up; map looks awesome, but sounds and plays horribly. It reminds me of a Mac; it's shiny and looks nice but functions terribly.

Re-looking a this map, the timing seems off. I'm not a master timer, but the claps seem to come a bit late. Also, later in the song, there must be a 2/4 or 3/4 measure somewhere, as the metronome goes 1 full beat off.

Missing skin? Remmy request take off parts of the skin, If i don't remember bad you can always use your default skin, when I play this I haven't problems with skin.

After re-reading the thread, I've noticed that I probably have the old mp3, so the timing might be off. In that case, disregard my statements until I check this new mp3 out.

Also, just as a note:

osuplayer111 bubbled this map on the 30th of March. The new rule for "only 2 of any mode." was established on April 4th. Abalee, Remmy, MM, and osuplayer wouldn't have cared, because the rule was not put into place at the time they modded it.

Adding a note on the BAT stars thing, having 4 BAT stars doesn't mean anything. It means 4 BATs modded your map and liked it. It doesn't suddenly mean that nobody can find problems in it.

Also, I'm not neccesarily sure if maps that have a diff going for approval count towards the total limit of modes.

Plus, the diff spread is kind of wierd. EIII? I understand that one of the modes is supposed to be a hard mode, but it DOES seem kind of wierd. I'm not going to say anything more on this though, as I'm not really an expert on if a map should be ranked based on ranking spread.

Oh my map was quite different back then, but constant modding just ended in lordfoster being forced to make that/those sections the way they are now.
