@Crimson: Actually it's not really a forbidden set; it's kind of a sweet little doujin actually. I just noticed this part to stand out lol XD In lien to that, check upppy then since I'll probably post it there (There's something wrong with my browser atm so I uploaded it on the Ecchi channel)

Oh then maybe I got it. I downloaded 4 updates but none of them screamed "JAPANESE" at me, so...

EDIT: Not Working.
EDIT2: After downloading SiN's DirectX thing, I can run touhou games without the .dll file in the folder but I still can't run it.

Oh, and did Vampirish Night really didn't make it? People are saying that the 1 week halt kinda hindered its plans to get released this Reitaisai?

Yup, you're right.. It wasn't released on reitaisai 7 cause dev used some newgrounds user's music on it.. Sadly, that's the only reason it didn't make it. Rumors are it's gonna be on show at c77.

It's freaking 119 MB... you're pretty much better off downloading the entire thing again.

This goes the same for all the other Touhous not numbered 7.5, 10.5, 12.3.

EX Spell 1: Reimu Hakurei: Talisman "Exorcism of the Newspaper Subscription Scammers" . This is the one with that really huge Reimu pic.

EX Spell 4: Reimu Hakurei: Barrier "Paparazzi-Repelling Barrier" . Reimu must seriously hate Aya and Hatate at the moment...

EX Spell 8: Marisa Kirisame: Comet "Blazing Star" . Someone please save me. I think my brain exploded. I don't think my imagination can handle how this is possible.

On a side note, I haven't actually unlocked EX yet; I still have to finish around 9 more scenes, and finish at least one from level 9 and level 12 (I can't capture anything from those at the moment).

Also, it's kind of... uh, 'enticing' (?) how Iku has to wink with such a lady-like pose when she summons bullets.

EDIT: Frionel showed me this pic http://i41.tinypic.com/mhslh.jpg . I kind of noted how Aya was doing such a Haruhi pose here. And then, we both suddenly realized: Hirano Aya. Oh wow.

So I played once while waiting for my uncorrupted version to finish and I managed to clear 1-2 while failing at 1-1. What the heck?

EDIT: Oh nvm I didn't know there was a zoom-in mode :x

I made that myself, actually. There are like, 3 variations of Hatate pseudo-userbars I've already seen, one of them being mine.

That said, all I need is a reference pic and I can try making you one.

Ive beaten Touhou 6-10 on lunatic. beaten the special stages of EoSD and IN (only because they are my favorites.)

I'm guessing it's hard to come across an american who can rape the touhou series. But don't get me wrong, I can't do it on my first try and it's hard for me to beat Lunatic without continuing. I would record it but since I have a...not legal version of the games, the recording software I use won't even recognize them as (Misc.) CamStudio has some desync so I won't use it.

what do you mean not legal version of the game? most of the people here downloaded the games itself. (and yes i said most since theres a chance that SOMEONE here bought the games)

In other news, I finally unlocked EX (and got 12-8 as my last card before unlocking EX, too! Made me so happy), and now need to unlock Spoiler next. I'm thinking of capturing EX-1, EX-8 (I have no idea how I'll do this though), and EX-4 since I think they're the easiest, but if you guys know of EX Cards easier than that then recommendations plz. After capturing these 3, I'll go back to Level 6 and 7 to capture 3 more so that I can unlock SP

To those who are playing Touhou Pocket Wars EVO:

When you unlock Kaguya's and Eirin's place in Gensokyo and do 1 talking event and then just have nothing to do there, you need to complete a B rank tourney. After that you can continue.

Best spell combo in the game + the last character you unlock near the end

In other news, I can't capture SP-8 and SP-9 atm >_< SP-9... it's supposed to be an easy one, yeah... until the two last photos that is. My eyes just suddenly go berserk with the sudden increase in speed and amount of bullets on screen, and I lose track of my dodging. It never fails; I always get only 8 or 9 shots in >_< Gonna try SP-8 again later

Isn't there like, an Outline Object feature in the image editor you're using? Just simply put the text lonely in a layer and use it...?

Completed Touhou Koubutou Marisa story in ~5 mins. Spam lasers and you win. Yukkuri was a little harder and required some evading.

For Ran, I can simply move from horizontally across the screen as each wave comes. This is not possible with Chen, as the bigger bullets actually do not come at you, they go down the side of the screen.

i for one just go nuts and die all the way when playing either extra or phantasm. i know cheating the game is a bit awkward and bad but i just wanna know what happens when you beat the extra stage

What happens is you win. There's no ending sequence like the main game has. There *IS* dialogue, but that dialogue would depend on the character being used.

Lol, Chen is the direct opposite: you start from the middle and stream vertically.

@Crimson: I've been a bit busy lately. Playing Touhou doesn't really take up more than 30 minutes of my time so I had time to unlock Phantasm :|

Don't worry I still struggle to 1CC Normal of TH11 and TH12 too (I've done it once, but the chances of me doing it are extremely low atm, but I'm using Marisa so w/e). There are still people who haven't played the game for more than half a year you know.

hmm i've downloaded the touhou virtual on clone. but i am kinda pissed off when either reimu or cirno beat my ass off with their special moves. is there any way to make those special moves?

I was having what I thought was my best MoF run at the moment, dying only twice in Stage 4 and clearing Stage 5 cleanly while maintaining a power of more than 4 against Sanae, capturing all her cards and more blllll after that. AND I finally beat up Momiji without getting hit first.

Then BAM, Domino Effect of Deaths on Stage 6. This was just freaking stupid; I suddenly forgot to excessively bomb like what I did in Stage 4, missing out a lot of opportunities to deathbomb and whatnot, completely fucking up Kanako's waves and bllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.

This was Marisa-C btw, which is proving to be the strongest shot type (in terms of power) for me (not counting Marisa-B glitch) as of the moment, and is currently my favorite MoF shot type (having fun with TH08 solo-Remilia atm too) mainly because of its insanely high power, and contrary to the names Marisa-A isn't the most powerful shot type.

But Kanako just had to be the partycrasher like she always is. Maybe I'll try again next time >_>

I'd also like to note that Kanako reduced my Faith all the way from 450000 to 100000. Bah.
