Left handor Right hand?

I have never posted on here but I'll give it a shot. Today I am going to be receiving a 'Wacom Intuos CTL480' in the mail and I am very excited, however I have thought of a possible problem that I will face once I actually use the tablet. I am a born lefty and I have been playing osu! with my mouse prior to this point with my right hand. So I face a cross road, learn to use the tablet with my left hand and completely relearn how to stream with my right, or learn to use the tablet with my right hand and keep my streaming ability.

I feel like using the tablet with any other hand than my dominate would be very hard to do but I also don't think relearning how to stream with my right hand will be any easier. I want your opinion on what you would do if you were in my position, any opinion is valid. Thanks

I had the same 'issue', but it's just something new that you have to get used to.

It was really hard for me to learn how to play with a tablet, but it should just naturally come you.

As for streaming, I'm terrible with both hands, however lately I started to get better at streams with my right hand - probably because I'm playing for fun now and not just pp-farming.

But you shouldn't force yourself to play tablet, you should play osu! with the equipment you like, or else you'll never be able to enjoy the game the fullest.

You've been using a mouse since you first started using a computer with your non dominant hand, and you had no problem doing that. Am I correct?

My opinion is either stick with using your right hand for aiming, or go back to mouse. Switching hands just for the sake of using a tablet seems extremely silly to me.

p.s. I too am left handed, but that doesn't hinder my ability to aim with my right hand in the slightest. If anything, I'd say my finger control is my most lacking skill.

well it's pretty obvious but use your tablet in your left hand. What I did. If you try and use it in your right hand you will probably never reach your full potential because you're using your non-dominant hand. And at 400pp I doubt you have developed an amazing streaming ability with your left hand.

Hand dominancy doesn't necessarily mean you can perform every single task you could possibly imagine of better than the other hand.

Keep using mouse for osu!, no need to switch hands then obviously
