Right now, Taiko in osu looks a bit empty and ... sad. Can we please change that?
It would be really great if we had dancing characters, applauding crowds and more effects like in the original Taiko no Tatsujin games. Things like these would make the osu's Taiko much more pleasurable to play and watch.
Do we need a better animated pippidon? No we don't NEED it, but it would be better to have one. The one we have currently has too few frames for enough customization and looks ... boring. (sorry pippidon lovers)
Do we need more visual effects? Again, we don't NEED it but it would be amazing!
What would be interesting as well are those critters that will come out of don/pippidon/whoever whenever a note is hit. It's a nice, satisfying effect. (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSYApB0kaXU [notice the mushrooms and star coming from Don and running to the right until the end of the screen])
Do we need dancers? YES!!! We do NEED them! What's better than playing a song for someone to dance to?
A display of the current difficulty as an "emblem" behind the character. (For example, in the same video as above, you can see the bamboo behind Don. That is the "emblem" for the "Normal" difficulty. The emblem for Kantan difficulty are flowers; for Muzukashii are trees; for Oni is a demon.

I appreciate if more effort put into the Taiko graphics. It looks a bit neglected...
Thanks
