I was just checking this. Song is slow, I know. But a Platter is possible to do here with some creativity. There are some drum beats in this song which can include easier hypers very well, but it doesn't necessarily need to be a challenging one. Consider adding it to provide a more decent spread. Lemme know how you decided and I will mod the difficulties afterwards.

I added Platter. It may be very ugly, because I don't play Platters very much. >.<

Also as you can see, I changed song to the orginal one, because cover was off-timed. :o

It's really not bad, I will help you improving to make it feel like a real Platter because it lacks a bit of challenge. Let's hope we can move this forward together!

[General]
  1. The timing is off, even if it's just slightly I recommend you to overlook it. The following setup works fine to me: Offset: 910ms, BPM: 99,995. This will also require some re-arrangement of notes, but I am sure you will be able to handle it. In my mod I work with your recent timing, so please change it after you applied my mod below.
  2. Widescreen support isn't necessary.
  3. Your wallpaper size is wrong. It should be 4:3 or 16:9. Usually we use the following wallpaper sizes: 1024x768 or 1366x768. If you need any further assistance in cutting them let me know about it. I can help you in that!

  1. All in all this Cup is very easy, and that's good because CTB definitely needs more easier difficulties for beginners! Also it suits the song. Mainly I will focus on some distance issues to emphasize the music better. Sometimes it maybe plays a little bit too boring.
  2. 00:32:090 (1,2,3,4) - Here you really can use a bit higher distances because there are 1/1 breaks between the notes and you barely need to move, I suggest this:
  3. 00:36:890 (1,2,3,4) - Same as above. You can use higher distances for these notes.
  4. 00:41:690 (1) - Move this to x: 296 to emphasize the "cymbal" at the slider head.
  5. 00:48:590 (5,1) - Try to increase the distance to emphasize the loud drum beat again. An example for that:
  6. 00:56:090 (1) - Move this to x: 380 due to the higher vocals, a higher distance will emphasize it better.
  7. 00:58:190 (4,1) - Same as above, it needs a higher distance because of the drum beat. Moving 00:58:490 (1) - to x: 356 works fine already.

  1. HP should be 3, not 3,5. With that you have an HP spread of 2-3-4 which is more logic than 2-3,5-4.
  2. There are no beats at 00:28:190 - and 00:28:340 - . So wipe these notes out. You should keep 00:28:490 (4) - however. It's funny to see you did it properly in the Cup and Platter.
  3. 01:07:490 (7,1) - There should be a Dash because it feels way too lame for that Drum beat right now. You will need to shorten 01:07:490 (7) - because 1/4 Dashes aren't likely seen in a Salad. I had to re-arrange 01:08:990 (2,3) - for this, too. I prepared images to make this process easier for you:

  1. Basically the Platter lacks of HDashes and Dashes, so we need to focus more on improving that. I can't give this a decent mod until it has more structure. So I prepared two lists for you with sections that require Dashes and sections that require HDashes. I won't make images of each pattern by now. I want you to think about it alone, so you can get a better feeling of mapping a Platter. Once you added more Dashes/HDashes I will recheck the difficulty and see if I still can give it a few more Pattern suggestions. So here we go go:

No KDS for that, this is only a very quick recheck for the Platter, as promised..

[Platter]
  1. 00:03:310 (1,2) - Select these both together and CTRL + H them. This will create a better flow because in CTB everything is about typical left-right-left-right movements. Here you definitely need to stand too long between 00:02:710 (6,1) - .
  2. 00:05:710 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - Select all of these notes together again and CTRL + H them, so you will have some more movement between 00:04:510 (2,1) - without destroying the pattern at all, just flipping it.
  3. 00:07:810 (6,1) - Geez, this jump is way too high. Look clearly at the music, there is not any particular beat that emphasizes it. Best option is to stack 00:08:110 (1) - with 00:07:510 (5) - , so you create a simple triangle movement, which plays a lot easier.
  4. 00:36:911 (1,2,3,4) - Maybe decrease distances between these notes a bit, it feels a bit too extreme. But please keep the Dashes anyway, but easy ones.
  5. 00:42:312 (2,3) - These wall patterns... Please move them closer to the center again.
  6. 00:46:512 (1,2) - Personally I think the piano is too calm for any dash, so think about no dashes before the quite intense Kiai starts anyway.

  1. 00:34:211 (5) - I suggest removing this note, it's not really neccesary (I can't hear anything at that time) and it's more coherent with 00:38:711 (4,1) -
  2. 00:48:912 (1) - Don't make this slider so curved to the left, it may mean some droplets misses for newer players. You can try changing it and moving 00:49:812 (2,3,4) - a bit to the left to fit better, like this:
  3. 00:51:312 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Move them together to x:32 to create a small jump that emphasizes the downbeat at 00:51:312 -
  4. 01:00:312 (4,5,1) - You can increase the distance to emphasize the stronger vocals near the end of the chorus. You can try this:

  7. 01:03:913 (2,3,4,5) - I suggest moving this to the left border to make the movement between (1,2) better while keeping the pattern untouched.
  8. 01:09:013 (2,3) - Again, this jump is too large (if I move (2) ONE level-4 grid space an hyperdash is triggered). Since the hyperdash doesn't fit too much here, I suggest shortening the jump.   1. Going to suggest you focus on the vocals here, it's a nice slow song with good vocals, most timeline changes will gear towards that, gameplay is overall.

    TIMELINE
  2. 00:02:110 (4,5) - Swap these out for a 1/2 slider? It's similar to the vocals at 00:00:910 (1,2,3) - but the "Da" sound goes longer here so a 1/2 slider would sound much better than two circles.
  3. 00:15:910 (2) - Reduce to a 1/2 slider and place a circle at 00:16:510 - ? Same reason as stated above for most timeline changes, it sounds much better with the vocals.
  4. 00:32:111 (1) - Same as above, 1/2 slider with a circle at 00:32:711 - IF you do this, Replacing 00:33:311 (2) - with circles on the respective white ticks at either end would create a good flow with the vocals.
  5. 00:59:412 (3,4) - Swap these around? It sounds much better in my opinion.
  6. 01:03:913 (2) - This note feels off to me, I would suggest removing it.
  7. 01:04:513 (3) - Remove repeat, circle at 01:05:113 - The slider sound feels wrong and a circle fixes that for me.
  8. 01:09:313 (3) - Swap this for a circle at 01:09:613 - No need for the slider in my opinion, it just fills empty space whilst a circle complements the song very well.

  10. 01:13:813 (2,3) - Change 01:13:813 (2) - into a 1/2 and move 01:14:713 (3) - back to 01:14:413 -, this fits better with the vocals as you can place a circle at 01:15:013 - and start a 1/2 slider at 01:15:313 - to create a slower paced and more vocal-orientated flow.

  1. I don't do Platters so I'll only point out a few things.
  2. 01:21:314 (4,5,1) - I have a deep dislike for patterns like these, they are generally harder to read than expected and sometimes require very precise timing that shouldn't really be needed in a difficulty that has barely introduced Hypers. I highly discourage this and would suggest closing the gap between these notes to make them slightly more readable for those who have just come to the mode and wish to get into CtB-specific maps.

You can FC the Salad with less than 10 dashes more or less. So I see still A LOT of improvement, CLSW however sees it as ready to go, so it's up to him if he wants to give it a shot after my mod or not. I probably won't bubble it by now.
Salad diff doesn't need more dashes right now imo. In fact, I tried to ask about Salad diff nowadays to CtB beginners like ten thousands ranked users, and everyone says it's still Hard. They were really struggled at continuous 1/1 dashes while testplay, and after some consideration I decided to nerf my criteria of its overall level.

Yea, its salad diff is hard enough.

I personally think this amount of dashes is perfectly fine.

The song is very calm so there aren't many good positions for dashes in the first place, adding more wouldn't really make the Salad any better imo.
The map is for the song, not a set bar for people to reach really and I think this map is an example of mapping to the song rather than the difficulty, any more would just be overboard.

ursa actually wanted to post something here. Afaik he doesn't see the map ready to go yet, maybe because of different reasons than I have. However, I would like to know his reasons. If I'm wrong and all of you feel okay with this map, you probably can go ahead with the ranking process.

Added SliderBorder, changed hitsounding in all diffs, fixed missing triplets on cup.
Prefer to keep Salad as it is, for me it good compares with cup without any dashes (this is probably the easiest cup ever made lol) and hdashy platter.

So... waiting for ursa? :)

Note : well generally i can find your cups is very easy & most of them is only walk pattern. i strongly suggest to improve it by making some distance.

The map Start exactly in 0.910 what is under 1 second.
I suggest you to change the AudioLeadIn to 500 or 1000
You can change this in the .osu file, the AudioLeadIn need to be the same in all the diffs.

A map starts automatically after 2 seconds nowadays, even if you didn't put any LeadIn. You can do that optionally however. Also thanks to ursa for glancing it over.

Okok, ursa, changed CS in cup to 2.5 also I think osu! have too much hard cups, so walking is okay I think. Also fixed spacing issue in salad and jumps in platter, so thank you very much!!

DaxMasterix Thank you, changed AudioLeadIn to 1000, also I know that nowadays map starts after 2 seconds Sey but still added it. :P
