Kitty ears headphones

Hello everybody ! :oops: I was surprised that nobody made a post about it and i wanted to speak about. This is a kickstarter on indiegogo (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/axen ... headphones) about awesome headphones. They raised more than 1.1 million dollars. The headphones are all black but with different lights : blue / purple / red / green and they'll cost more or less 150$.

I wanted to know your opinions about it and if you would buy it or not ... well this is osu!'s forum so i guess many people would like it but ... :oops:

For me the problem is to give that amount of money for an headphone that you don't even know if he is decent. Maybe its just a 10$ headphone re-designed.

I heard that this was a fake project somewhere but either way, I'd buy it. It's just... that price....

IMO, headphones for audiophiles would be over $500. Headphones for gamers and such would be at least over $100 for good positional audio and good musical fidelity. Most of the stuff under $100 are crap.

I used to have a cheap pair of headphones, they broke. I returned them for another pair, and they broke as well.

Actually my headphones now $90 and excellent quality for price. They have a mic, good sound quality and I can locate enemies in first person shooters behind cover. Although headphones like these are an exception.

The person who designed the headphones, Yuumei, is pretty well known on DA. Someone that popular can't be faking something like this

I like Yuumei's art (hell check out their webcomic Fisheye Placebo) but speakers? On a headphone?
Whos idea was that? If i want to annoy my surroundings with loud music id not use a headphone but a surround system.

For something thats cool but unpracticable (we dont know if this headphone is any good either, likely not) id never pay such a price.
