These days the url tag is rarely used like this:
[url]http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/posting.php?mode=post&f=4[/url]

Most web browsers already recognize that it is a url, so more often than not, the main and probably only use of the url tag is for something like:
[url=http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/posting.php?mode=post&f=4]HAI[/url]

Because of that, I want to change how the url tag works.
1. If you highlight a url and press the url tag button, it automatically adds the "=website url" before the bracket

So if I highlight:
http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/posting.php?mode=post&f=4&sid=9831e01d71c1428e1f071cb8e314daf1
I can press the url tag button and get:
[url=http://osu.ppy.sh/forum/posting.php?mode=post&f=4&sid=9831e01d71c1428e1f071cb8e314daf1][/url]

2. If you do not highlight anything, the "=" sign is automatically included (1 character inclusion, but also makes it easier to recognize that you can use the url tag to embed a link into text)

I always thought this would be a nice addition, however I never cared enough to make a request myself.

Support.

That would be really neat, I am sick of manually editing that tag. Invisible support.

That's a really good point, the forum auto-parses URLs anyway. Have some real stars.
