What´s the best moment to learn AR10?

Well, i think im in the skill level for start playing HR 3-4 star songs, but the thing that stops me its the AR9,8-AR10, because i can´t read above 9, but i don´t know if learning AR10 will make me any good because i´ve heard learning AR10 too fast makes you forget AR8 and even AR9, and that´s the last thing i want.

So, when it´s the best moment to start learning AR10?

Jugachi can read ar10 at 10k rank,but imo at 5-3k rank

Learning AR10 is useless until you become good enough to FC 5+Star songs. Getting better in general is a way better thing to do especially in your case. AR10 compared to AR9 is quite rare and only appears in maps that you can't play atm. Let's say you were magically granted AR10 reading ability it wouldn't do you any good. Even though you could do a HR AR9 4 star song you wouldn't be able to do a 4.5/5 star even without HR. AR10 doesn't fit most maps anyways. All in all as most will suggest you shouldn't learn AR10 until you really have to, which would be at least rank 5K~.

I'm rank ~500 and I still haven't learn to read AR10 yet I can still climb ranks without it

When you don't care to learn harder songs but are bored with the songs of the difficulty you currently play (assuming HR makes you less bored of them). With that said, this probably shouldn't be the case until you are able to start reading 5.0ish nomod consistently (notes: I said read, not merely pass) since most maps reside somewhere in the 4.0-5.0 range.

In other news, you actually don't have to learn AR 10 until you get good enough to play maps that seriously require AR 10, when AR 9.7's not quite enough for it any more (since decimal AR's are a thing now, hopefully QAT's will be able to help with determining AR's before ranking. If it's unranked, well, change it yourself.) Plenty of players above the ranks people suggested cannot read AR 10 (like meee but I should probably be rank 10k). But, there are also HDHR fanatics like rrll who defy logic.

The average is about 5K or under I think. But you don't need to learn it till about rank 400 or so, when AT8 DT isn't going to cut it anymore.

Rank shouldn't bother you when deciding on when to start learning it.

If you feel you can play AR 9 comfortably then you can try adding hardrock to the maps you can FC nomod.

Don't get yourself centered around AR, practice everything.

In other words, don't think too much about it. Instead of various ARs, keep the distinction of two:

AR which I can follow
AR which is a bit too fast for me

Well, his account was registered 3 years ago, I don't mean to accuse, but there was likely some offline play done, it seems pretty crazy to me to be that good at that playcount.

Its the moment when you find the "HR" mod on Osu, sooner then later. Practing AR10 helps me deal with AR9 better
