Hey Random #modreqs mod!
[General]
Source: I wouldn't really use "It's A Wonderful World" as the source. It's better to use "Subarashiki Kono Sekai" or "すばらしきこのせかい"
Why? Do a quick Google search. Searching for the Literal translation yields almost no results, so it's a little strange. A translated title doesn't really work, because it would be better to use the actual English version's "The World Ends with You." I realize it is on the cover art but it's better to use the actual title instead. Adjust your tags after changing this.
In the end. I would recommend above all else to use すばらしきこのせかい as the source.
Title: The V in "vu" is lower-cased. See screenshot below:

Artist: 小池ジョアンナ
This seems to be how Joanna Koike prefers to write her name with her recent works. A good example is this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFMuxivK41E
A blog Post: http://ameblo.jp/koikejoanna/entry-11518208706.html (I wasn't sure if this was the same Joanna until I found this blog post an hour later.. lol)
This also means you should swap to Koike Joanna as the Romanised Artist!
You can disable widescreen support since you don't have any storyboard. Actually. Why not make a SB with the names in the collab of which part each person mapped. If you want, as it'll literally take 10 minutes to do, give me the times of each person and I'll be happy to add the names in for you.
Kiai:
Your first Kiai ends at 01:03:720 - making it inconsistent with the other similar ones throughout the song. You should end this first kiai at 01:02:220 - or move the other two kiai ends at 02:30:220 - & 03:42:230 - to match. There is really no difference between The first and second chorus.

So I decided to spoilerbox the mod below. Mostly because it's really heavily opinionated due to some things in the map I personally don't really like. Keeping to your own style is the best way, and we all know this, which is why I'm going to Spoilerbox it. If you don't think you want to read what I wrote below, then go ahead and skip the mod. Hopefully the general info helps enough though.
Good luck on the mapset. I really like the song, and your maps are pretty nice, but there are some things about them I don't really think are reasonable or necessary for the song. I tried working on this on and off for the last two days, but it ended up becoming a nightmare, so I thought I'd just stop here instead of pounding my head trying to accept things.

SPOILER
[Normal]
I really think this map went a bit too far overboard. Instead of making what would actually be a nice relaxing hard that suits the song very well, it goes and uses too many techniques that kills gameplay such as unnecessary 3/4 sliders (especially the 1/4 jumps halfway into the song) and lots of oddly shapes streams. It really isn't an ideal type of map, though people have their own styles I guess. Basically I feel this map, while not overmapped, is overmapped in terms of what a hard should look and feel like. The whole begining up until the middle of the first kiai is really well done, and it would be nice to have the whole map play like this.
- The combos would work much better on this difficulty if you did them every 2 measures or two big white lines. The song moves a bit slowly that it seems a bit strange that you cut it in half like you do. | http://puu.sh/asBPa.jpg
- The notes are kind of placed oddly in this map. It gives the map a kind of 2009/2010 feel (which kind of works for this song since it's so old)
- The other thing on this difficulty that bugs me a little is that you use the small grid with distance snap and that causes some notes to be up to 0.05 - 0.10 off. Like for example: 00:49:220 (2) - is 1.02 and 0.96. There is actually quite a bit of a gap here between the distance snaps. If you were on the tiny grid, you could still use grid snap and move it down one point to 0.98 and 0.99. I highly suggest you go through the whole song, click on each note, and try to even up the distance snapping.
-------- - 00:19:220 (2,3) - If you wanted to make these notes a bit more cleaner, you could consider stacking the (2) and (30 together. This will let you adjust the (3) to flow into the upcoming slider.
- 00:29:720 (1) - This could be more balanced | http://puu.sh/asR8S.jpg | The slider is way to low for the angle it is trying to show.
- 00:33:970 (1) - Small example of needed better distance snapping. It makes the map look much cleaner. Please use the tiny grid if you want to use Distance Snap, otherwise, just take it off.
- 00:36:220 (1) - This would be a little bit more cleaner placed to the right side of the slider instead of the left. When a player comes off from their mouse, they'll still be moving to the right a bit which will help them flow nicely into the next note. | http://puu.sh/asRee.jpg | In all hhonesty though, 00:34:970 (2) - might be better off curved a little.
- 00:42:220 (1) - An example of oddly placed notes. The flow coming off the (2) to the (1) in question is pretty sharp. Afterwards the tail of the (1) transitioning into the (2) is also sharp again, for the angle the (2) is curved for anyways. It feels like the (2) should be moved up a bit more. | It's mostly just the combination of these two
- 00:50:220 (1) - You should curve this to maintain the flow from the previous notes. | http://puu.sh/asQkO.jpg | Also consider remaking 00:48:220 (1) - because it really feels out of place. | http://puu.sh/asQhi.jpg
- 01:09:220 (1) - If you do the NC every two measure thing I talked about above. You'll be able to get rid of the (1) combo before this. I highly recommend you do it!
- 01:11:720 (2) - Again, be careful of the DS. 1.08 is really unbalanced.
- 01:46:220 (1) - Try rotating this slider so it feels more balanced on both ends. | http://puu.sh/atxeF.jpg
- 01:47:720 (3,4,1) - I'll emphasize more on Pomuta's mod about this being too short. Right now you have the spacing at 0.57 which is almost half of the current DS you are doing. This will make any unaware player think these are 1/4 notes. I personally don't have any issue at all reading these, but I'm not new to the game. The key idea is to be able to make something that newer and inexperienced players can enjoy without getting too confused. However, this also works the other way. The beat in this song is so simple that it's almost impossible to misinterpret these as 1/4s. Again, that is just because I'm really used to how music works, and it won't be the same for the others. A good suggestion is to stack them together or use distance snap.
tl;dr? Easy for people who understand music, but not for players that are new to the game. Those people should be kept in mind above anyone else. - 01:50:220 (3) - If you didn't apply the NC suggestion, then you'll have to NC this for consistency. otherwise, you can leave this alone.
- 02:22:220 (1,2,3) - When going by the rest of your patterning in this difficulty. you don't map to the (2) in the song. To be honest, I was going to suggest moving this so the flow was a little better, but simply deleting the (2) and readjusting the notes after as needed would make it play and feel a lot better. Highly recommend you delete the (2)!
- 02:36:220 (1,2,3) - These are really crammed in the corner no? | Try moving the (1) up a bit so you can get a bit more room. | http://puu.sh/atzRN.jpg
- 02:41:720 (4) - Missing clap
- 02:47:970 (3) - Consider adding a clap to this to create the build-up for the end.
- 02:48:220 (1) - If you did the above, try adding a finish effect. The volume will make stay pretty low so it won't be disturbing much. If you do this, also put a finish at 01:20:220 (1) -
- 03:16:730 (2,3,1) - Lessen the curve on the (2) and have the (3) stacked on the (1). This is not very appealing to play since the flow has you pointed more towards the (1) instead of the (3). | http://puu.sh/atAaj.jpg
- 03:27:230 (3,4) - Because you use a slider at 03:27:730 (5) - You should really consider changing these into a slider as well. Mixing sliders / circles up can sometimes make the rhythm harder to adapt to.
- 03:56:230 (1,2,3) - Try adding a curve into the (1) and placing the (2) a bit lower so it can flow easier. The most troublesome part is the straight line from the tail of the (1) to the (3) | http://puu.sh/asR2F.jpg | Adjust notes after as needed.
- 03:58:730 (2) - How about turning this into a circle for the head and tail. This will let the player have a little bit of a gap instead of having all the 1/2 spacings in a row.
I really think this map went a bit too far overboard. - 01:12:220 (1,2) - 3/4 sliders for a hard? Why? They really don't even fit this song at all. There is more powerful noises happening on the red ticks, and you have more than enough triples here and there from the streams to not even need these things.
- 01:19:970 (1,2) - Add claps?It would really suit the song.
- 01:44:720 (1) - You can remove this NC. It's part of the same measure. There really is no reason for it. Remove 03:12:230 (1) - as well.
- 01:45:720 (2,3) - Move these closer together. It really doesn't give off a jumpy feeling.
- 02:11:220 (7,8) - This is impossible to read correctly. The way the flow makes you hit the (8) from the 6 -> 7 -> 8 makes this feel like a 1/2 note instead of a 1/1. You even spaced this out so it reads perfectly like a 1/2. There are pretty powerful vocals here as well. Two ideas. Reduce the distance between (6) and (7) or move (8) a lot further away.
- 02:24:220 (1) - I'll be blunt again, I'm really against these 1/4 jumps. If you want to use them, at least make them be within distance snap.
- 02:54:220 (1) - Because of the small bpm change you have. It might just be best to extend this slider. I don't really see the point of the 1/2 note after it. Kinda trollish anyways to be honest.
Hopefully you can find someone who can mod this according to your guys style of mapping. It just isn't for me. I spoke out about the main things, but that is about all I feel I should go into a diff that doesn't work against my thought process of mapping
