我第一次 mod 這種有 GD 圖 . 在開始之前 , 本麵想新確認幾件事情 :

Easy – English .

Normal – 中文 .

Hard – 中文 .

Insane - … As my rule , I can’t tell you something constructive word .

無意冒犯 , 只是提醒自己 , 不要打錯語言 = = ( 用中文打 Easy 難度的 mod 怕對方看不懂 ) .

說到麵 , 就不得不提 :

1. 本人英文超爛 . 如果遇到無論如何都不知道怎麼用英文來表達的狀況時 , 我就會用中文說 . 煩請替我轉告對方 , 謝謝 ><" ( 當然我會極力避免 , 多虧有了谷歌翻譯 ) .

2. fm4a94au04 -> ㄑㄩˋ ㄇㄞˇ ㄇㄧㄢˋ -> 去買麵 .

開始吧 ! 對了 , 上面那一串請無視掉 .

好緊張喔手腳會抖欸對了原來是這樣 ... 我一緊張就會講很多廢話 ...

Garou's Easy
I think , you can change into a faster slider velocity or more spacing . Since Easy can't click too much , so match the vocal .

Of course , slow slider is also feasible :

Here is a example ( but it use x1.2 spacing to avoid overlap too much , and it put object every 1 clap ) ( consistent spacing ) .

And here , is a example for higher BPM song's Easy :

https://osu.ppy.sh/b/164097 <- 165 BPM . It put object every 1 clap . ( consistent spacing )

See ? It more Hard then your diff but rankable . Because it also put its' object on 1/2 clap ( 1/2 beat snap divisor ) ( consistent spacing ) .

Another example , low BPM :

https://osu.ppy.sh/b/177870 <- BPM 90 , very slow ... it put object every 1 clap ( also have 0.5 clap object , low BPM so allow . It = 180 BPM's every 1 clap ) .

So , if you decide to do this ( 1 object every 2 clap ) , the click rate is about : 146/2 = 73 ~~~~~~ !!!!!! Too slow I think .

But if put things every clap , it will conflict with Normal diff , so try to match the vocal . I will follow this to mod .

I recommend a faster slider to compose more possibility , like x0.8 :



It's my map ...... BPM 132 . using my owe things , are uncontroversial then using other's ......

Make spacing consistent x0.6 , slider x0.8 ( I want to show why it is better ) . I will follow this to make something in this song .

Here we go !

First , your soft hitfinish are good , but I think this shouldn't be used so much . you can use standard soft whistle instead ( S Whistle ) .

After all , it is a finish sound , not whistle or clap .

00:19:986 ~ 00:25:739 - Overuse finish . Less to use it imo .

00:16:698 (1) - Shorten it to 00:17:520 . In fact , extend to 00:18:136 is also good since it match the vocal . So 2 ways .

(1) Vocal :



If you choose this , then delete next object .

(2) Main rhythm ( I do this ) :



00:19:986 (1) – Make it end at to 00:20:602 . And Easy should make spacing consistent .

00:21:629 (2) - Start from 00:21:424 , end to 00:22:246 . Match vocal .

Maybe like this :




00:23:273 (1) - Shorten it to 00:23:890 . And spacing .




00:24:917 (2) - Make it start at 00:24:712 and end at 00:26:150 .



And so on ... I'm lazy to type it . Sorry .

Above is > 2 clap between objects . So I think is feasible ( It just a refernece for sure ) .

I think there is two ways to improve this diff .

(1). Slider speed x0.8 , spacing x0.6 . <- I recommend this , x0.5 slider speed is too short to develop some creative idea ~~~~~ !!

(2). If you don't want change slider speed , then keep spacing to x1.0. <- 0.8 x 0.6 = 0.48 = 0.5 ; 0.5 x 1.0=0.50 . It’s math ? I don’t know …… .

Try to match the vocal . Since Easy can't click too frequently , so it is a good choice for Easy . When Normal , then you can try to match background sound ( drums , or something ) .

終於可以 , 使用中文 …… . 開頭讓我透透氣閒聊一下吧@@” .

我在mod Easy的時候本來建議他可以每隔一拍放置一個物件 , 我舉了一個BPM 90 的歌來說明兩拍放一個物件有多慢 ( 那首歌是每格一拍放一個物件 , 偶而有半拍的 , 每分鐘點擊頻率大約90 . 而如果這首歌是照兩拍放一個物件的話點擊率就等於73比90還慢害我打圖打到快睡著 ZZZ …… ) , 結果等看到Normal就整個打臉 …… = = 因為Normal就是每隔一拍放一個物件 …… .

我後來建議他對著人聲去下 , 就算慢但如果有對到人聲的話那也還是算合理( 而且這首歌也有很多對到人聲的樂器 重音 ) . 我還因此重打了 Easy 一遍 = = . 學一次教訓唄 , 下次要把圖都看完再打 mod .

好吧 , 開始 ……

首先 , 是距離問題 .

相較於初學者 , 玩過一陣子的人比較能夠應付中頻率連擊 ( 例如間格半拍的滑條 - 點 - 滑調 ) , 可是對點擊時機的判斷還是仰賴物件間距 , 除非你的物件時間差非常大 , 大到會讓你的物件飛出場外 ( 大約2~3拍或以上 ) , 而且玩家也有足夠時間反應 , 才能做變動 .

像這首我超愛的歌 :

Relaxing ( 就是Normal阿= = )難度開場沒多久 , 有兩根大滑條占據在兩側 ( 綠色的兩根 ) , 因為時間差夠大 , 所以從x1.2 改為x1.5 , 無傷大雅 . 一部分也是為了對稱梗 , 總之參考看看 .

我有注意到一些地方間距的變動 , 像是 00:05:807 (4) 應該是為了三角型梗間距由x1.0改為x0.7 . 搭咩得斯 ( 不可以的呦 ) ~~ 玩家會以為是隔一拍的物件然後按下去 , 然後就FK造口業了 …… 就算是 Hard , 類似這種地方我應該也會建議 Anti-jump ( 而且是類似放得很近像要黏在一起之類的 , 因為沒有明顯的高漲節奏 . 範例 : https://osu.ppy.sh/b/168080 這首的Hard 中間過場的地方 ) . 所以 , 間距還請注意一下 , 拜託了 .

以上連結都是官方網頁 , 沒有釣魚啥的 . 官網也中毒 , 那我也只能鳥巢天哪 ~~

接下來都不談間距了 , 而是節奏或音效等的建議 . 因為是建議馬上就變得阿諾阿諾的 ( 費柴男主角樣 ) …… 總之間距應該算是硬性規定 , 接下來的看你要不要 .

要我來說 , 我也會建議乾脆重做比較快 . 看似麻煩 , 但有些東西你在第一次做的時候已經摸的很熟 , 再做會快很多 , 駕輕就熟 , 也因為如此你可以注意到更多第一次作圖時沒有注意到的地方 ( 畢竟第一次光摸節奏就快被搞爛了吧 …… 只有我這樣嘛 0.0” ) . 況且中途要改 , 很多新東西都會被舊的影響以致於陷身泥淖 ( 難道又只有我嘛 …… ) . 舊的不去 , 新的不來 ~~ .

Modder也是 . 如果他又要顧間距又要顧排版一大堆問題 , 還指望人家給甚麼 ? 他連這首歌曲的精華都碰不到 , 就快被一層層的洋蔥皮薰死了 …… ( 不是在間接說你這只是比喻@@” , 也有可能是modder本身太腦爛 , 我現階段應該屬於後者=ㄦ=” )

00:10:123 – 我會選擇漸升音效最後升到更高 ( 70% ) . 原先白色區段的音效不太明顯 , 到藍區段突然變大 , 有點怪 …… 只是我的感覺 .

00:17:520 (5,6,7,8) – 乾脆擺個斜的正方形吧 . 8 好像歪了一點 .

00:20:396 (5,6,7,8) – 把6跟5對調然後把7跟8合成一個短滑條試試 . 更改之後 , 4和5就是兩個圈 . 看是要分開還是overlap ( 不喜歡按ctrl+z 倒帶吧 ) .

我第一次 mod 這種有 GD 圖 . 在開始之前 , 本麵想新確認幾件事情 :

Easy – English .

Normal – 中文 .

終於可以 , 使用中文 …… . 開頭讓我透透氣閒聊一下吧@@” .

我在mod Easy的時候本來建議他可以每隔一拍放置一個物件 , 我舉了一個BPM 90 的歌來說明兩拍放一個物件有多慢 ( 那首歌是每格一拍放一個物件 , 偶而有半拍的 , 每分鐘點擊頻率大約90 . 而如果這首歌是照兩拍放一個物件的話點擊率就等於73比90還慢害我打圖打到快睡著 ZZZ …… ) , 結果等看到Normal就整個打臉 …… = = 因為Normal就是每隔一拍放一個物件 …… .

我後來建議他對著人聲去下 , 就算慢但如果有對到人聲的話那也還是算合理( 而且這首歌也有很多對到人聲的樂器 重音 ) . 我還因此重打了 Easy 一遍 = = . 學一次教訓唄 , 下次要把圖都看完再打 mod .

好吧 , 開始 ……

首先 , 是距離問題 .

相較於初學者 , 玩過一陣子的人比較能夠應付中頻率連擊 ( 例如間格半拍的滑條 - 點 - 滑調 ) , 可是對點擊時機的判斷還是仰賴物件間距 , 除非你的物件時間差非常大 , 大到會讓你的物件飛出場外 ( 大約2~3拍或以上 ) , 而且玩家也有足夠時間反應 , 才能做變動 .

像這首我超愛的歌 :

Relaxing ( 就是Normal阿= = )難度開場沒多久 , 有兩根大滑條占據在兩側 ( 綠色的兩根 ) , 因為時間差夠大 , 所以從x1.2 改為x1.5 , 無傷大雅 . 一部分也是為了對稱梗 , 總之參考看看 .

我有注意到一些地方間距的變動 , 像是 00:05:807 (4) 應該是為了三角型梗間距由x1.0改為x0.7 . 搭咩得斯 ( 不可以的呦 ) ~~ 玩家會以為是隔一拍的物件然後按下去 , 然後就FK造口業了 …… 就算是 Hard , 類似這種地方我應該也會建議 Anti-jump ( 而且是類似放得很近像要黏在一起之類的 , 因為沒有明顯的高漲節奏 . 範例 : https://osu.ppy.sh/b/168080 這首的Hard 中間過場的地方 ) . 所以 , 間距還請注意一下 , 拜託了 .

00:08:068 – 一個點 . 建議加上鼓聲例如 : https://osu.ppy.sh/b/260795 Hard 最後曇花一現的鼓聲S:C5 Clap ( 沒試過但感覺好像可以 ...... ) , 這音效在很多圖都看過 , 應該沒有侵權問題 . 或乾脆N normalhit ( 默認的那一組 ) .

00:08:479 – 把 00:06:835複製作對稱 . 頭加N finish .

要我來說 , 我也會建議乾脆重做比較快 . 看似麻煩 , 但有些東西你在第一次做的時候已經摸的很熟 , 再做會快很多 , 駕輕就熟 , 也因為如此你可以注意到更多第一次作圖時沒有注意到的地方 ( 畢竟第一次光摸節奏就快被搞爛了吧 …… 只有我這樣嘛 0.0” ) . 況且中途要改 , 很多新東西都會被舊的影響以致於陷身泥淖 ( 難道又只有我嘛 …… ) . 舊的不去 , 新的不來 ~~ .

Modder也是 . 如果他又要顧間距又要顧排版一大堆問題 , 還指望人家給甚麼 ? 他連這首歌曲的精華都碰不到 , 就快被一層層的洋蔥皮薰死了 …… ( 不是在間接說你這只是比喻@@” , 也有可能是modder本身太腦爛 , 我現階段應該屬於後者=ㄦ=” )

  2. This is a relatively low BPM song so 0.50 base SV is way too slow. Try at least 0.8.

Considering there is Alpha Channel in the BG,and making it to .Jpg will get it cut which makes the BG bad to look at.I didn't change it. And I think it won't add too much pressure to bancho and players XDDDD

    這個排法會比較follow vocal一點

00:24:917 (2) - actually, hmm... Maybe you shouldn't do symmetry here at all because this beat comes 1/2 earlier than you have it mapped


00:26:561 (1,2,3) - make better blankets here?

00:38:890 (5) - I really don't recommend this note, it's placed in the middle of a drum fill, and sounds really really awkward
Personally, this is what I would do:


The spinner is to cover the entire drum fill while making it beginner-friendly, and then a note at 00:40:533 (1) - to hit the loud drums



00:41:355 (2) - you know the drums are 3/4? The correct rhythm should be:



however, I don't recommend doing this on Easy
Maybe either make a 3/2 slider + note or a simple 2/1 slider

00:46:287 (1,2) - Drums are landing 1/2 earlier, you should probably account for that

00:52:040 (1) - also this spinner should start earlier

01:24:095 (1) - unsnapped. Also strange design choice to not make it in the middle after that spinner

This difficulty might need some work :(

Ok, you should learn blanketing. It's pretty much one of the biggest mapping techniques used.

Blanketing is when a slider curves perfectly around a circle

Let's take a look at 00:00:260 (1,1) -
uhhhh... it's probably easier to show you rather than trying to explain it


00:03:547 (2,1) -


00:06:835 (3,1) -


I suggest you sweep through your difficulty and try to fix all of the blankets that look irregular as best as you can

00:41:150 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - It's best to avoid overlapping patterns such as these. I suggest you simplify the rhythm down to map only the very basis of the song

01:01:903 (2,3,4,5,6) - same as above

Also there are some big problems with your rhythm but it's best to learn the above mapping techniques before moving on to rhythm basics


[Hard]

00:21:424 (1) - intentional whistle on the sliderbody? because with it, there's a normal whistle on the reverse, which doesn't fit the song

00:42:794 (1,3) - these are awkward in my opinion. The biggest beats are on the reverse and end, while the filler is on the sliderhead. Instead you should try to have an object start on the strong beats rather than mapping them with weak slider reverses...

Start with checking AIMod, the errors are true, there was obvious mistakes when mapping this.
Otherwise found not much else to say. Although I have a feeling that the slider velocity and distance snap are too low for 146 BPM.

[Mecon's Normal] (New version as from 3 days ago)
Start with checking AIMod here as well. Fix them.

00:06:835 (1,1,1) - I see no need to make new combo here. Start new combo every big tick instead of non-consistent new combos.
00:30:054 (1) - feels wierd that it starts there while there's no object 1 tick earlier(00:29:849)
00:31:698 (3) - do like this instead. It should sound and flow better.
00:46:081 (1,2) - even though it does make a little sense in the rhytm, it's still very confusing when to hit. And those players who play Normal mostly hasn't learnt to watch closely when approachcircle hits hitcircle, so make something else there instead please.
01:20:807 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - this part is... well, not off-rhythm but hard to hit for players who still are at Normals dispite the low OD. replace some circles with sliders please.

[Hard]
I testplayed this quite a few times and 00:38:684 (5,6,7,8,9) still feels kind of wierd there. Do something else there instead?

Diff sperad between Easy and Normal is too huge and I am sure this kind of diff sperad is unrankable.Use of rhythm in easy is every 2 white lines for a rhythm and even lesser while the rhythm of normal comes to 1/2 in many times.You must add one diff which diffculty is between normal and easy to get this mapset ranked.

[Laurier's Insane]


00:32:314 (3) - This slider end should snap on 3/6 at 00:32:451 but not 3/4 as you can listen carefully the piano sound is at 00:32:451 .Snapping it wrong makes it unrankable.

00:44:643 (1,2) - The spacing here you use as 1/1 are used to be used as 1/2 in the rest part of your diff.Therefore,this spacing makes players feel confuse and may cause readabillity problem.I think you may want to put it more far to solve the problem:

This diff is decent,can't find any other problems.


[Hard]


The flows of this diff are quite messy in fact.For instances:
00:10:123 (1,2,3,4) - They are not on the same cruve while you put them just together.I think you may rather place them like this
00:08:068 (2) - (3) doesn't fit the cruve of (2) obviously and also,why you space (2) out making the pattern messy.
00:20:191 (5) - This slider is almost covered by (2) ,making the pattern looks ugly in my opinion.Frankly,it is needless to put (5) reverse to the side of pattern (1~3).You can simply make the pattern like this:
00:32:520 (4,5) - cruve of the line (2~~4) doesn't fit the cruve of the slider (5) as (5) is more cruvy while (2~~4) is almost a stright line.May you have a look of what I did:

I am not going to point out them one by one,as it's subjective eventually.It depends what you think about your patterns but,cruve of flows is important if you want to build aesthetic patterns.

00:00:260 (1,2,3) - Stacking 3/4 rhythm at the beginning of the map makes it really hard to read and they are even circles and this diff is a hard,rhythming them like this isn't a clever idea.For the sake of letting players adopt of the rhythm of song,you may want to remove 00:00:260 (1,2) and add a 3/4 long slider at 00:00:260 so the rhythm can be easily caught.Like this:

01:12:383 (1,2,3,4) - Spacing here is messy.Spacing is supposed to be the same in normal.You used different spacing between 1/2 and 1/1 and it is fine.However,please use the same rhythm on 1/2.Now you place (2,3) and (3,4) different spacing whther they are both 1/2.(And also [1,2])May you try this?:

There is a unsnapped object found by AIMod,please fix.

01:07:657 (1) - You have better to use distance snap in this easiest diff.There's enough space to distance snap it,so do it.Using this kind of space you are using now confuse newbie players.

The rest looks fine for me.This easy diff is nice.

It seems like that I have misunderstood the fact about the curve flow,I should pay more attention to it for that I want to make beautiful map.
