Staring of beat maps?

Well, it's really nice to have the 10 star ranking system(for beatmaps), however, most maps including least maps, still using the five one.

:?: Is there no one know about this?

basically 10-star rating is to extend the star rating system, not to spread it out more. 5 stars used to be either true 5 stars or insanely difficult that you need to be God to FC it. But now 5 stars are true 5 stars

Oh, I've got it, but I thought that there is a huge gap between normal and hard (really) and insane, and 10 star system was to put more rankings.

I remember five stars being any thing 3 and half stars and above.

Well, the 10 star rating was put in because it was a more precise measurement of the true difficulty of the beatmap .

So, if you put on mods, you'll see the star ratings go up or down a bit, depending what mod you selected .
