AI Mod should warn the user if there are objects extremely close and likely intended to be stacked (i.e: x+-4, y+-4, since that is the smallest grid snap). There are too many maps with improper stacks, some even over 4 units off. This causes stacks to look weird on higher resolutions, like so:

The current editor will snap the next object to the slider end, but there are many patterns that do not stack until later i.e: a circle is used in-between, as in the example above, causing the object to not be snapped to the visible slider end. If the slider end is not on the grid, and the user tries to stack the 2nd next object on the grid with this slider end, then it will not snap, despite it having a visible appearance to the user (AR).

As of now, it is possible to Ctrl+G a slider to correctly place another object, but many mappers do not follow this rule.

Therefore, I propose that a new rule be created for AI Mod. One in which checks for objects that were intended to be stacked, but are off by e.g: several units due to the nature of the grid system. This will help prevent error among stacking for mappers.

I think it is doing it correctly(?)

Weirdly enough, I did not notice that this feature was actually a thing until you told me; thanks for that. I do not think it is as effective as it should be though.

Let me re-address the problem. Objects that are not directly after the slider do not receive the auto-snap feature, causing i.e: stacks with a circle(s)/slider(s) between them to be not snapped, as seen in the image above.

If I allow it to work for objects out of order, it might get annoying when you want to place something that isn't supposed to be snapped on another object. Eventually this may be possible for right now, you could remove the objects between the sliders to get them to stack correctly.

Hm... that is a problem.

I am still concerned about the immense amount of maps with these sort of spacing errors, It happens to me too (even when I check). Another possibility is for AI mod (or a standalone) to check for insanely close objects (e.g: 2 units off, in visible area of previous object), and warn the user that it may not be stacked correctly. I am not sure how such calculations would be achieved but it will be helpful to double-check intended stacks while at the same time not forcing non-intended stacks.

Tell them to stop being lazy and fix it in their maps.

AiMod is a possibility.

That sounds great. Please, add this to the description of the Feature Req
