Well, I am going to be obvious and say Kaiji and Akagi since I am a huge FKMT fan, but then there's Baccano!, Fate/Zero, Mononoke, Evangelion, Mushishi, One Outs, etc. Hell, even the Monogatari series has interesting male characters.

I have yet to watch any of those series. Although Monogatari seems interesting and a friend recommended Evangelion.
FKMT sounds incredibly familiar, either I'm a noob in the genre, or there aren't many series that focus on mahjong.

Fun fact, Gumi's voice provider, Megumi Nakajima, is the seiyuu for Ranka Lee, an anime character from Macross Frontier. If you compare the two, it's clear that Gumi was based off of Ranka.AllRiseSilver wrote:
