  1. The second kiai time is too long, it should begin at 02:58:583 (the last chorus).
  2. There are two identical combo colors, remove one of them.

  1. Consider lowering slider velocity, it's too high and hard to follow for beginners.
  2. As this is Normal, use more 1 and 2-beat sliders and reduce note density, the amount of circles as well as 1/2 sliders to make it easier.

  3. Try to curve the straight sliders, they don't fit in a curving pattern

Just letting you know you posted your mod on the wrong map

Also you might want to take a look into your video file, for some reason osu! does not give the option to download without video. It might be the file type for your video, try saving as .avi or something, and don't forget to remove audio from the video if you haven't already to reduce file size.

02:28:587 (1,2,3,4) - You start with mapping the (bass? what is that instrument orz) but then you suddenly change to mapping the vocals once it kicks in. This isn't really good for rhythm. In this case, you should stick to mapping the instrumentals here instead of the vocals.



General comments about this map:

You seem to map the vocals a little too much and perhaps a little too precisely. This sometimes makes the rhythm really awkward to play
For example, in Insane, you have 00:33:523 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - where the objects mostly start at the half-beats (red ticks) instead of the main beats (white ticks) which isn't very good for rhythm
also mapping the vocals too much creates awkward pauses that you don't really want, such as 00:38:325 - and 00:49:299 - in Insane.
I would advise you try to follow the drums and other instruments rather than the vocals; it will make the rhythm much better and more fun to play

Also this mapset is a little old-fashioned, meaning it resembles a map from a few years ago rather than the contemporary maps we have now.
I recommend you look at recently ranked maps to get an idea for more modern patterns. This will make you a better mapper in the future.
For example you use very linear sliders and geometric patterns in all of your difficulties which makes playing your map a little predictable and ultimately boring
Be a little creative !

Also experiment more with hitsounds, as they will make your map much better. I recommend following a steady rhythmic hitsound pattern that matches the drums in this song.

02:28:587 (1,2,3,4) - You start with mapping the (bass? what is that instrument orz) but then you suddenly change to mapping the vocals once it kicks in. This isn't really good for rhythm. In this case, you should stick to mapping the instrumentals here instead of the vocals. Playtests have shown that this is not confusing. I have done my best to make the transition go fluid. However, if more people agree with you. I will change it.



General comments about this map:

You seem to map the vocals a little too much and perhaps a little too precisely. This sometimes makes the rhythm really awkward to play
For example, in Insane, you have 00:33:523 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - where the objects mostly start at the half-beats (red ticks) instead of the main beats (white ticks) which isn't very good for rhythm Fair criticism, but I feel like that is fun to play.
also mapping the vocals too much creates awkward pauses that you don't really want, such as 00:38:325 - and 00:49:299 - in Insane. I wholeheartedly agree on this. If more modders feel like this is a problem, I will fix it.
I would advise you try to follow the drums and other instruments rather than the vocals; it will make the rhythm much better and more fun to play

Also this mapset is a little old-fashioned, meaning it resembles a map from a few years ago rather than the contemporary maps we have now.
I recommend you look at recently ranked maps to get an idea for more modern patterns. This will make you a better mapper in the future.
For example you use very linear sliders and geometric patterns in all of your difficulties which makes playing your map a little predictable and ultimately boring Linear sliders bring more velocity to them. I don't dislike the use of curved ones but I myself, especially with a song like this, feel more comfortable using straight sliders.
Be a little creative !

Also experiment more with hitsounds, as they will make your map much better. I recommend following a steady rhythmic hitsound pattern that matches the drums in this song. Working on that. I still haven't found a set of hitsounds that I feel can compliment the map though.

General: Make the first kiai times on all diffs end at 01:17:079 instead

Normal
- Make the map AR5 instead.
- Slider velocities are too high for a Normal, that also makes the spacing too far apart that this map looks like it has jumps, even though its 1,0x spacing.
- This map follows alot to the lyrics, personally i dont like it even for a normal, this is osu, not singstar anyway, and it requires a different kind of rhythm to play the map which is alot different from other maps you see on the same difficulty.
-02:22:928 ,02:33:903 , 02:44:873, 02:55:841 - Why make these a break since here 00:41:583 (1) - you made it a spinner? you could reduce the number of short breaks by 2 and rest in spinners.
- Can you remap this? Copy-paste like this isnt fun: 03:08:865 (1,2,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,1)

I would give a more detailed help patterns wise, but you really need to redo it because of the velocity which changes alot on the spacing of the map itself.

Hard
- This map also needs a lower slider velocity, its too high and makes the map resemble more like an insane because of its spacing and speed.
- I would say to lower AR to 7, but because you need to redo the slider velocity, it really depends on how the map looks itself.
- Again this map follows alot to the lyrics, and as you can see, it is alot diffiicult to hitsounds because the map doesnt follow the beat of the song. So you might want to make it differently.
- 00:33:180 (1) - Adding a circle here would fit the beat and not make the map so weird.
- 01:41:430 (4,5) - You could add 2 circles here so the break isnt too soon, or drag the start of the break to begin at 01:41:773 -
- In fact, lots more missing hitsounds on this map, why not hitsound from here as well? 02:36:647 (1) -
- 02:54:984 (10) - Slider should end at 02:55:327
- 03:08:865 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,1) - Yea another copied pattern and flipped to look different... change it?

Again, i would comment more about the patterns, but the map suffers from the same problem as the Normal, as having a too high slider velocity that needs change.

Well, this is certainly the best map of the set, though needs more work as well:

- Well. slider velocity is alright,but because you only set to one number, the map feels the same, as in there are no changes to it, its always that 1.0x spacing, and slower parts of the song is the same speed as the kiai part, as i will say later here.
- You could fill the map with more stuff in the first part,like add a circle here 00:33:180 (1) - or make more after this slider as well 00:31:637 (8) - remember its an insane so you can go a little mad with it :p
- 00:52:386 (1) - Instead of this slider, why not make a stream? and then add a small spinner that ends at 00:55:130 - to it just to fill that space.
- 00:55:216 (2) - Delete
- I have to say that the whole first kiai time felt like a whole rotation of my hand and mouse, as its just a clockwise pattern, you could perhaps make it move somewhere else to break the cycle? Then the next pattern is everything anti-clockwise. i know you went for a map with better flow, but perhaps changing it would make the map less repetitive.
- I noticed how there are alot of straight sliders as well... not sure its good for me...
- 02:35:275 - From here to 02:36:647 - , add somre circles, and a triple there to follow the song a bit, just dont let it be so silent.

I tested your normal map and i have a few suggestions:

02:36:647 (1) - should be changed to a single note.
02:36:989 - should contain the following 2 (on the white line).
02:39:731 (1) - and 02:41:102 slider could be be 1 line longer ending on the white,
you should flip the slider and drag it closer it to make it easier.

It feels more natural to play it like this , for me atleast.

Also:
Open the Aimod, you should resnap the missing ones.
About the timing, start 00:11:230 - (i think, not sure) change to 175 instead of that 174,946.
The timing starting at 02:36:647 - check the inherit previous timing settings.

Somewhere there's an offset change. Somewhere around 02:03:687 everything just feels off.
I'm sort of sad in certain parts that there's not a lot more hitsounding. For softer sections, try utilizing hitsoft hitsounds with creative whistle placement to give it more flavor than just "BEAT BEAT BEAT BEAT". For bigger sections, you seem to have a good grasp on where claps should be, but just put them into the less filled sections.

Insane:
Stylistic general thing here, but a lot of people find overlaps sort of confusing, so a lot of your patterns that may look nice when looking at the map might actually be confusing to read while playing. It'd be more of a question to ask someone who actually plays the game, lol
Also, general statement, but when there's really empty sections (See after the first actual break, beginning of the map, etc), when you have really empty sections like that, it's a good idea to use big sliders there rather than just having blank space in between each note.   1. timing is slightly off -- if you look at the last spinner, you can see that it starts/ends about 1/8 beat before the actual song. the best bpm i could find was 174.96 (while keeping your current offset). that's what happens when you don't have electronically timed songs i guess. the first four bars of piano are still slightly off, so there's the possibility you'll need a new timing point there. the rest of this mod is based off of your current timing, so if you do plan on changing it, do it last.
  2. combo colors? according to some other mod you said you were in the process of fixing them but that was 2 months ago -.-
  3. first kiai time should end at 01:17:059 since the section ends at 16 bars (as most would in a 4/4 timing song). the 2 bars following the spinner are part of a transitional phrase sort of thing and i'd say shouldn't be included in the same section as the kiai time

  1. Many objects during and after the variable BPM section appear to be unsnapped due to the timing changes on Easy and Normal. Make sure to resnap all notes after applying this mod. It's worth considering remapping the section between 02:03:716 and 02:16:076 for the reason as captin1 mentioned in his post above.
  2. The current spread of your difficulty settings are questionable. I'll mention under the respective difficulties how you can get an ideal spread.
  3. Here is a JPG conversion of your current background I would prefer you use. Reducing file size wherever possible is always a plus.
  4. Because there are no storyboard elements are in use, you can disable Widescreen Support on all difficulties.
  5. You should use some custom combo colours that compliment your background. Default colours aren't much of a pleasure to look at. Something like below I find fits very well. Make sure these or any other combination you may use are applied to all difficulties if implemented.

I highly recommend using AR3 here. AR4 is a bit challenging for the first difficulty of the mapset as we're trying to cater to beginner/new players as much as possible.
  1. 00:25:977 (3,4) - In general try to avoid these "slightly touching" overlaps, they look bad. In this case you can avoid the touching by applying more curvature to (4). Should be an easy fix but here's a coded example if you would like to use it:

  2. 00:46:897 (3) - I highly recommend shortening this slider by one repeat and adding a note on 00:47:925 will play most intuitively for a beginner. A second repeat will feel unexpected unless the slider is pretty long which makes them seamless to predict. This applies to all cases where this occurs. Refer to g0010726's mod below as he points out each time this occurs. Also, following how you've used NCs on objects so far I feel the use of one here is appropriate.
  3. 00:58:900 (1) - Remove NC
  4. 01:11:589 (3) - NC here to follow your pattern.
  5. 01:12:617 (1) - Remove NC
  6. 01:12:960 (2) - NC
  7. 01:14:332 (1,1) - This is very much stressful for a beginner player. You'll notice that (1) begins to appear a decent amount of time before the spinner even ends. I highly recommend leaving more time between the end of the spinner and the next object to allow players enough time to recover. Two suggestions for this. You can rearrange your rhythm to create a 2/1 gap between the spinner end and proceeding slider like in the image below. Another idea would be to delete 01:17:419 (1,2), insert break time here and resume with a note on 01:19:819.
  8. 01:36:281 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I see what you're trying to do here, but can't say I agree with it. For an Easy difficulty is almost all cases you want to make the path for players to follow perfectly clear which implies avoiding partial overlaps as much as possible. It's also worth noting that a spacing error is created between 01:37:310 (4,1). You can try something like the below:

  16. 03:17:793 (1) - Add a finish to this spinner to compliment the cymbal as you had for Insane.
  17. 03:20:536 - Snap this green line to 03:20:549 for consistency with 2nd kiai endings of the mapset.

AR -1 (5). The current AR is pretty high, especially if you change AR3 like I mentioned earlier. AR4 and 5 are more commonly used for this difficulty level. I'm seeing several inconsistencies in your object spacing in the part following the variable BPM section between 02:17:619 and 02:36:309. As you appear to generally be using 0.8x for this part, try not to deviate from it.
  1. 00:41:409 (1) - Remove the finish from this spinner. The music doesn't warrant one here.
  2. 00:18:089 (1) - Check you spacing here. You can try a placement like this if you want to maintain the blanket with (2):
  3. 00:34:551 (5) - Spacing inconsistency here.
  4. 00:55:127 (1) - Adding a finish sounds cool here and accentuates the beginning of the kiai.
  5. 01:04:387 (3) - Did you mean to have this at x:236 y:166? It would make a nice triangle and correct the spacing.
  6. 01:04:730 (4) - Missed a clap on the tail.
  7. 01:07:130 (3) - Clap on the head.
  8. 02:34:937 (3) - You can add a whistle to emphasize the sound here as you had for the following objects.
  9. 02:36:652 (1) - Missed a finish.
  10. 02:47:626 (1) - From this point until 02:55:686 your comboing is all borked.
  11. 02:58:601 (1) - Add a finish here as well for the same reason as 00:55:127 (1).
  12. 03:07:860 (3) - Same as 01:04:387 (3).
  13. 03:08:203 (4) - Clap on the tail.
  14. 03:10:604 (3) - Clap on the head.
  15. 03:16:948 (1) - Remove NC for consistency with its absence on 01:13:475 (6).
  16. 03:18:149 (1) - Add a finish to this spinner to compliment the cymbal as you had for Insane.

HP and OD need to be raised, currently they are way too low and the same as Normal. Using HP5 and OD6 fits the spread best.

  2. 00:55:127 (2) - This should have a NC for the kiai start, musically it has no reason to be in the same combo as (1).
  3. 01:09:702 (5,7) - The rhythm of this combo feels ambiguous, these 1/1 sliders in particular because they skip over some really heavy beats. I suggest using a rhythm like below to fill those strong beats while still allowing the 1/1 sliders to follow vocal holds.
  4. 01:13:646 (1) - Remove NC as it's unnecessary and doesn't follow your pattern.
  5. 01:13:303 (7,1,2) - I find the consecutive use of 1/2 sliders a bit plain with how prominent the vocal is here, it would be neat if you could incorporate following it into your patterning. Try using a circle, 1/1 slider followed by two circles or a 1/2 slider like below:
  6. 01:23:935 (5) - This slider is not reversing to anything in the music and should be extended to reverse on the white tick. Make sure to delete (6) and add a note on 01:24:792.
  7. 01:40:053 (4) - Remove the clap on the tail, the music doesn't warrant it.
  8. 01:41:768 (10) - Move this up a few grids to about x:352 y:188 so you can get a triangle formation with 01:41:082 (8,9,10).
  9. 01:52:742 (1,2) - Not so much of a big deal here but if you CTRL-J either of these you'll notice they're not perfectly symmetrical.
  10. 01:55:486 (1,2) - Similar case like above, using CTRL-H.
  11. 02:27:221 (7) - Your new combos of this section seem to appear every measure so using a NC would be consistent with that idea.
  12. 02:48:998 (5) - NC here as the combos of this section occur every measure.
  13. 02:55:686 (1) - I would remove the NC here, this note feels like it belongs with 02:55:000 (1,2) following the vocal. Also the 1 circle combo is strange.
  14. 02:56:886 (3) - I'm confused with what you're following here. After the 1/1 gap between 02:56:372 (1,2) it would be better to have this on 02:57:057 to follow how 02:55:000 (1,2,1) played.
  15. 03:13:176 (5,7) - Same suggestion as 01:09:702 (5,7).
  16. 03:16:777 (7,1,2) - Same suggestion as 01:13:303 (7,1,2).
  17. 03:17:120 (1) - Remove NC as it's unnecessary and doesn't follow your pattern.
  18. 03:17:806 (1) - Swap the whistle for a finish on this spinner to compliment the cymbal as you had for Insane.

    Not bad, I feel you could do something more special with the rhythm between 02:47:626 - and 02:54:142 - which is entirely 1/2 sliders.

I like your soft-whistle usage for the piano at the beginning part. For the section before the first kiai, you should continue on with using soft-whistles to bring out the piano sounds which appear frequently on strong white ticks like 00:18:089 (1), 00:19:461 (1), 00:22:205 (1) and so on.
  1. 00:27:520 (9) - Spacing is a little cramped here, this circle is touching noticeably closer to (3) than the other surrounding circles.
  2. 00:55:127 (1) - Finish sounds cool here, also brings out the kiai starting.
  3. 01:01:643 (4) - Missed a clap on the head.
  4. 01:21:791 (5) - The spacing in this stream is a little messy around this note, try to have equal spacing here.
  5. 02:34:252 (1) - Extend this spinner by 1/1 and have it start on 02:33:909 so there isn't a big gap and for consistency with 02:22:934 (1).
  6. 02:47:626 (1) - Finish on the head for the cymbal.
  7. 02:57:229 (1) - Remove the finish from this spinner, the music doesn't warrant one here.
  8. 02:58:601 (1) - Add a finish for the cymbal and to accentuate the beginning of the kiai.
I'll stop here for now on Insane as i'm in need of a break. Continue to work on this, find mods, and have a careful look at how you've mapped the variable BPM section for each difficulty. Easy and Normal in particular could use the most improving. For quality purposes it may be worth your while to remap between 02:03:716 and 02:16:076 to accomodate for the new timing to make sure everything is properly snapped, and to ensure it plays exactly how you want it to.

I couldn't find any more mistakes, for the sole reason that your mapping style is very consistent, but it can become a bore eventually. Its very ordinary, and not very eye-catching. Your straight sliders can go for a makeover, use less of those. Curvy sliders are what appeals to the public now.
