I'm not switching Kiruru, Kobato as always and will always be my favourite female character. If you remember well, my first avatars were pictures of Kobato for example, my skype pic' is Kobato, I have goodies of Kobato etc...

1. Nico Robin (One Piece): She's an archaeologist, she has a bloody sense of humor, and her devil fruit powers are unique and awesome.
2. Ai Haibara (Detective Conan): She is a child genius, acts dangerous and cold, but is really sweet inside, and is secretly an eighteen year old on the run from an organization that wants to kill her
3. Tsutsukakushi Tsukiko (Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko): She's adorable, has a sweet tooth and enormous appetite, and a kuudere not by choice.

Trust me, I've watched plenty (I read more than watch, though). That's why I said usually. Although I do prefer anime/manga that have a female lead.. Care to give me some examples? Well, I am going to be obvious and say Kaiji and Akagi since I am a huge FKMT fan, but then there's Baccano!, Fate/Zero, Mononoke, Evangelion, Mushishi, One Outs, etc. Hell, even the Monogatari series has interesting male characters.
I feel utterly retarded now.. I only had the main characters of the series I watched/read in mind when I said that.
I have yet to watch any of those series. Although Monogatari seems interesting and a friend recommended Evangelion.
FKMT sounds incredibly familiar, either I'm a noob in the genre, or there aren't many series that focus on mahjong.

Fun fact, Gumi's voice provider, Megumi Nakajima, is the seiyuu for Ranka Lee, an anime character from Macross Frontier. If you compare the two, it's clear that Gumi was based off of Ranka.AllRiseSilver wrote:
