I'm not sure if it's suggested already or not--but have a mod that disables the background.
The mod would be just like the No Video mod, except this would replace any skins default background with a black background. I think this would be a great addition because sometimes the beatmaps background is bright and or possibly distracting. With a bright background sometimes the circles are difficult to see.
With a Disable Background mod--a black background makes everything clear, easy to see, no distractions, and is optional to use.
