i think the diff's name should be "Dear You". making a "y" capitalize isn't that hard right?
00:21:843 (1,2,3) - these notes have a same distance while on timeline were placed not on the same delay time. i mean http://puu.sh/8RYqR.jpg. it may confuse for some player. i guess it's better to place 00:21:843 (1) and stack with the slider's tail at 00:20:746 (3). or maybe make it like 02:34:145 (1,2) instead?
00:26:599 (2) - how about making a copy the slider at 00:26:233 (1) then ctrl+h it and stack at 00:25:868 (7)
00:38:307 (3) - such a nazi stuff. move this circle to the right by 1 grid just for the consistency.
00:53:672 (2) - ctrl+g this? imo this slider should be leads upward in result a bigger distance since you are stacking the next two object. also it flows better and makes easier to read

  1. I liked how you hitsounded this map, glad to see someone else using a hitsound per note o/ but... song folder looks heavy try to make it lighter.
  2. 00:19:465 (3,4) - wrong rhythm imo because the clap should be clicked here, try to swap these objects like this
  3. 00:52:209 (3) - i dont really agree with you here, you can make this 00:52:392 - played and you don't. try to make something like this as you did here : 00:54:953 (2,1)
  4. 01:12:331 (2,3) - this breaks a bit the flow, make this instead ?
  5. 01:25:502 (2,3) - try to avoid the overlap here, looks a bit odd.
  6. 02:17:453 (1,2) - looks a bit surprising because of the distance you used here, before and after, try to reduce a bit the distance.
  7. 03:02:682 (1) - to emphasize the guitar, i suggest you to make a kind of wub slider like this
  8. 03:20:609 (7,8,1) - i dont recommend this kind of movement, it's kinda breaking it a bit
  9. 03:26:096 (5,6) - I prefer to make this instead but it's up to you

  1. Source is supposed to be ひぐらしのなく頃に解. Artist himself is reffering the album to ひぐらしのなく頃に解, because it is based on album Thanks/You.
  2. Regarding the previous issue, after this we also should fix tags. Firstly the game name, it is supposed to be Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, as I exlpained above. Secondly the album name. It is not "You Thanks". It is supposed to be exactly that: "Thanks/You". You cannot alter album name as you just wish.
  3. Difficulty name is unrankable. Maps for approval must have their difficulty name "Marathon" if they contain only one difficulty. Additionally, dear you is not the right name of the song, why do people keep altering it. http://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Ranking_Criteria#Mapset
  4. Add "you" to tags after you deleted wrong album name, since it is name of original song. No, original is not "dear you", that is just another version of the song, not the one this is based on.
  5. Tags definitely deserve to contain 07th Expansion, since the game was released only thanks to them.
  6. Try to find 1024x768 or 1366x768 background as it is recommended and should be compatible with all resolutions.
  7. Just mentioning this because a lot of people don't use it. Ask BAT to change title color so it fits better with your background. Just saying it would be nice, but nothing important anyway. But why not, they don't mind changing it, so you might try. But that's just design detail.

  1. The map is way too easy to SS on first try I think. OD+1 might be fine. This song is supposed to be hard, so I think this change will make it a bit more challenging.
  2. 00:11:513 (1,2,3) - You had an awesome idea before on 00:09:899 (1,2,3). The BPM went down so you increased spacing so it plays more naturally. Anyway I think you might apply it also to these 3 notes. So it might look like this. http://puu.sh/8XEzi.jpg
  3. 00:45:258 (1,1) - Mute the wav file of the tick on this place. This sounds really off and insensible. Muting wav file completely would be unrankable, because you cannot have muted both tick and slide, so at least do this so it doesn't make sound on place where is no sound. But I think it is much easier to use lower tick rate. I might get that hitsound if you ask me in-game or by PM. But maybe even here, I might check it.
  4. 01:20:380 (1,1,1,2) - Use regular spacing between these (1,0x), it feels really boring for such a map. Waiting till slider appears just right under it for years might have disappointing expression.
  5. 01:24:770 (1) - Giving a shape to this slider might be a cool gradient between piano part and the lively part. http://puu.sh/8XFvc.jpg
  6. 01:24:770 (1) - Hitsounds of this whole map are just... so cool. So I wanted to remind one thing. 01:24:770 (1) - 01:24:770 (1) contains sound similar to sliderslide. What about adding that noisy sliderslide to this part? It's not bad hitsound, definitely not, but is less used, because it just makes noise where we don't want it, but this part is just made for that. Maybe consider this just for this part.
  7. 01:53:307 (2,1) - Avoid the overlap by moving it a bit left. You didn't use overlaps before, and this is not even intelligent, so I think it should be just avoided.
  8. 02:16:172 - Oh.. yeah, that's it. In previous piano part, you used another slidertick sound. This one is hard to hear, so use this even in previous one, which I mentioned before.
  9. 00:11:996 (2) - You made red line for this note, but placed it out. It is supposed to be on 00:11:998, where the timing point is.
  10. 00:15:990 - 2 timing points on same place are unrakable. I know you wanted just to activate kiai for a blink, but it is enough to remove green point on 00:15:990 and add kiai on the red point. It is unrankable to use two timing points on one place. Only rankable situation is when you place green and red line to change slider velocity, but you just used it for kiai.   11. 02:28:292 - Same applies to this. Remove the green line, set 85% volume to red one and put kiai on that.


Seems like a promising map. I mentioned just the important things. I won't throw detailism on you, it is rankable even without polishing every single thing, honestly it wouldn't need much of it. Good luck, I'll give a star after I have kd.

About diff name, you post different rule. Ranked Criteria says maps for approval with one difficulty must be named Marathon.
About the timing points. It is unrankable. It is only rankable only if the inherited point is used just for SV change.

An inherited timing section may be placed on an uninherited timing section (but only to change the slider speed). Having two uninherited or two inherited sections on top of each other will cause problems within the beatmap.
Whatever he said, if he said this ^ isn't right, he said it wrong. And yeah, it glitches in maps, if volume is different, it doesn't know which one to choose and more...

  7. 01:39:404 (1,2) - ここは配置するためにDSが大幅に崩れてるような気がしました。01:43:611 (6,1,2) - ここと似たようなDSで配置したほうがユーザーも迷い泣くプレイすることができると思います。
  8. 02:00:258 (3,4) - 02:00:989 (3,4) - 3と4だけCtrl+Gしてみませんか?今のままでも十分ですが。
  9. 02:32:133 (4) - こういうところのDSの崩れは意図的でしょうか?私はこういった箇所はきっちりDSで配置するべきだと思いました。
  10. 02:35:792 (2,3) - Ctrl+Gしたほうが曲調的にも流れ的にも綺麗だと思います、試してみてください。
  11. 03:57:926 (3,4,5) - 現状ではあまり綺麗な流れにはおもえませんでした、このようなパターンはどうでしょうか?
  12. 04:21:340 (3,4) - 叩きづらいと思います。急に縮こまったような配置に感じました。

02:50:974 (3) - this slider shape can be more smoothly imo, make it more like "S"?

04:41:462 (1) - this slider is nearly out of the screen.. hope you can put it up a bit

  2. 00:45:258 (1,1) - well, I think the slidetick was already 5% volumn, but it is still quite obvious to listen. I would suggest changing this to notes, but this depends on you.
  3. 01:25:868 (3) - How about curving this slider to a certain extent? Some like this: osu.ppy.sh/ss/1699026
  4. 03:26:096 (5,6) - hum, I would think that a 1/4 jump here wouldn't be a nice choice, as this is the only one 1/4 jump in this map. How about changing it to triplet notes or slider for consistency? Or at least make the slider like this for the sake of aesthetic? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1699100 . But if you listen to it carefully, this should be 1/3, but 1/4 triplet is still acceptable here. Your choice.
