I mean it's arguable I just need more practice with him, but it's what he brings to the table that doesn't satisfy me. He's a protector alright, but what protects better than hard CC? Blocking stuff is cool and can be awesome, of course, and when you're ahead with him he's a god, but hm, it's a bit risky.

He's a lot harder to kill than those two later in the game without true damage and there's not a lot of true damage in the game to begin with. And you can't totally ignore him like you often can with Leona after her rotation, since his QWE gonna have super low cooldowns and all of those can mess with your plans to kill someone.OzzyOzrock wrote:

Oh well, my game got drop hacked today. Twice even. There was one game which was a total DC for every member in my team. I tried reconnecting and it didn't work. I logged out & in, reconnecting and it still didn't work. I waited it out untill t he post game lobby where only one other team member of mine was connecting into. Everyone on our team was lvl 1 and they (obviously) won the game, with Renekton going for a troll build.
Second time in a game we got drop hacked was when in late game (around 30 minute-ish) everytime we would win a team fight we ALL would get dc'ed untill every member of their team respawned. This just kept happening EVERYTIME we would win a teamfight and whenever they would respawn we would be connected again. We asked in /all if any of their members got a single dc and none of them had one. We lost that game too. Fuck people like this. Seriously. Considering the last 2 matches were for my promo's to Gold IV (I won the first game) I got pissed off. Why the fuck would people do this just to get into a high division? This is just sad.

Also it's funny how Heimerdinger is in the highest League but was by FAR the most toxic one. He said "I hope you all get cancer", locked in Heimer, gave up 8 kills in lane and ragequit. 10 minutes later he came back, teleported top, got ganked by 5 people while we took their inhib.
Because of that I managed to backdoor their base, guess he was good for something.

I really can't think of any ranked scenario where you will always get well behaved people (not counting ranked 3's ,5's). I've played with diamond 1's and even some challengers that were beyond obnoxious. The league community is terrible so get over it and stop complaining.

I think low silver is worse than plat because at least in plat these guys might actually make a good play toxic or not. Plat is pretty bad though.
Mid diamond (2-3) is pretty nice which is the highest I've been. Idk how high diamond is compared to it though.
Well, I'm playing on high plat (going up & down between 3 & 1) and I don't feel like it's more toxic than when I was in silver. Ofc there is flamer, rage quiter etc... but it's the same in every divisions I believe
Every community involving interactions that make one player stand atop of another is going to be full of rage. This is human nature. This is the reason I like the PvE side of Guild Wars 2, it's like a fucking miracle hippy world.
Decided to play Nidalee top not too long ago. Couldn't decide what build am I was going to use so I just went with Evelynn hybrid runepage and like 27 or 30 offence masteries. Waltzed to the top lane with a Doran's blade in my inventory to find myself in a 1v2 against Leona and Jinx. Considering their solo was Ryze against Draven/Thresh that made no sense. What made even less sense I ended laning phase 3-0. But the most surprising part of the game was that our team miraculously never indulged the soloq spirit and split our siege unit (we also had a Soraka) past midgame netting the easiest yet well earned win of my past games.
Was landing quite some skillful spears there too, I tend to do that with Nidalee once in a while. Could probably do that in a higher % of games if I played her more, but she's not really fun if you can't use Cougar form freely in lane which is often a luxury as AP.

A lot of times people misinterpret toxic from bad game/player. Also, toxic people exist from Challenger to Wood V and if you want to climb you have to deal with it, it may be annoying but you know, shit happens.

I have a couple of bronze V - IV friends and I love spectating their games.
@Graciee I'm not defending plat division at all and I was only in plat for 20ish games, but games like League and Dota are know for a rather crappy community is all I'm trying to say. Not saying there aren't good, fun, and likable people that play this game because I've made friends over league. Then again I've been playing for 4 years now.

I guess I'll just take it slow I guess, the more games the better I supposeQuinn top isn't that great. Playing it is basically asking the enemy jungler to camp you. It's the same with Vayne top.

Hey guys, can someone give me the rundown on a Blitz vs Thresh matchup? I was playing SOLOQ MF with a Blitz, other side was a Twitch and Thresh. We got thrashed. Blitz was always behind me, never attempted to intimidate the other players. I attempted to harass, bouncing bullets and all. Whenever Thresh approached, Blitz was an Olympic track athlete and was gone. Every single engage, he left me in the dust.

Was pretty meh honestly. Twitch was eating all of my bouncing bullets so he had 1/2 hp every engage but Blitz kept running from every engage/or didn't assist me in anyway. And then he would pull the fed Shyvana into me. If blitz had been more aggressive like I was telling him to be, I think we would've dominated lane. He just refused to assert some sort of lane presence. I'm done complaining. Was yesterday, so not much good can come out of it now. :p

Learned they plan on reworking Leblanc... I was hoping they would just revert all the changes they gave to her last summer so she would go back to the whole *win early insta lose late unless mega fed playstyle.*. It was a feast or famine that was actually balanced.
Still pretty mad they changed her to being with. Oh well at least the new Warwick kit looks amazing.
