Skin's pretty much done (it will be upgraded in the future but for all intents and purposes is done) and final submittal has been made to the Lounge where it will hopefully be bundled with osume on new public build where the skin will actually work correctly for you underprivileged civvies.

Great skin

Though it might be just me but whenever I finish a song and get my statistics I don't see my accuracy, points ect box. It's just the Main character and what not, and I extracted the parter into the Skin folder, but nothing happens. :X

Am I doing it wrong? Also, it made the noise/hit sounds back to original. Normal? Or fixable?

Did you extract the partner pack while you had the skin already selected? If so, a simple reselection at the skin menu should cure that up, or closing/reopening osu.

That's all I can think of at the moment. ;x

For the partner switch, make sure you're not extracting it as a folder. You should be overwriting the old files.

As for the ranking panel, what the hell? If you downloaded the "leaked" beta skin, you might be best off deleting and replacing the folder entirely. There's no reason why it should not be displaying.

I take that back, great Beatmap.

I got everything working, my only complaint is everytime you make a mistake you hear them get disappointed at you and your lameness :C makes me sad looool jk, theres some things in there that can seem somewhat annoying. Other than that its good.

Some of the somewhat annoyings will be addressed as peppy further sexifies skinning potential.

But yeah hearing my partners chastise me for breaking a combo makes me want to throttle them as well. All the more motivation to full-combo everything you encounter, right?

The partners talk WAY too often during gameplay, they should say stuff only during the breaks where the circles and Xs appear to tell you whether you did good or not.

Hearing, "Keep it up, Neku" every 30 seconds is getting kinda annoying. O_o

The only actual annoying part is at the final count (right before the first note) with Joshua. Sometimes catches me off guard at the opening note. How embarrassing is it to miss only the first note of throughout the whole song? :oops:

Have fun, Neku.

Not an appropriate "Go!" by osu! standards but it is just so fitting. Joshua tends to throw you off in general, so while distracting, I find it to be a nice touch. Of course, you can mix and match your partners, but if you really want an alternate Joshua gos.wav I could whip one up (included in next patch maybe).

There's giggles and Uhmmmmmms - I have a total of ~6-8 sounds for Rhyme. None would work in a skin D=

Now, I could have Sho or Koki or Yashiro or Megumi as partners but oh jesus don't kill me

What's new? A more in-depth partner system (including new partner-dependant score explosions) additional sound effects when scoring combos (So you're not hearing "I'm diggin' it!" fifteen times a stage) and an all new fourth partner! Yum, fantastic!

First of all I have to say this skin looks great, second of all I have to say some parts look a bit weird, like the mods selection and the CAT. Did you draw that? It's a great reproduction but it looks a tad weird, sorry if this is a bit harsh.

Well, I have this Picture of every single pin, I realized that your pins in the mod selection are drawn by hand. Don't get me wrong, they're great but they look weird.

It's 5 Megs so I'll zip it up. Hope I helped.

I do indeed want that png - the ones that show up in a google query are a 404, so thanks for the upload. I'm not exactly going to use them for the skin, but they're nice to have anyway =3

Everything in this skin was drawn by hand - everything. Except for playfield.png - that was only modified by myself. Partners, Pins, score explosions, Ranking Panel, it's all me'n'MD. That's also how I'd like to keep it - in my opinion, anyone can grab a bunch of images, resize them, rename them, and crank out a skin. I like to draw 'em from scratch, so they're more unique, and have some heart to them. Stuff like Double Time are not true recreations (it's a deeper blue than the cyan I used) and I might revise a few things, but for the most part I'm quite happy with the way everything turned out.

Aw fuck I forgot to change the blue colour in the skin.ini - The combo colour that is blue should be

R: 50
G: 133
B: 255

I will fix this today after work if I can (under four hours I hope) otherwise ah whatever peppy'll still be awake at 3 am I'll just reupload skin.ini

I could, and I could vector in the character and score explosion artwork more easily than with Sho. Sho was there as a little fan-service treat, but if there's a want for Yodai I could do that too. I've actually been thinking of doing a Koki Kariya/Yashiro Uzuki combination for myself - but a Bulldozer would only take 2 to 4 hours to make. Certain things won't work with the Bulldozer though, such as starburst cheers, but I'll see what I can come up with - IF I can come up with, anyhow.

Transparent or nontransparent, I think both distracts the "Spin!" thought at the bottom.

I only use it when I play TWEWY maps. 'Cuz awp talks about TWEWY all the time (before), so I got hooked.

I have grown so dependant on this skin I suck with any circular-cursor skin

fuck windows just popped something up while I was typing and I guess 'r' killed it gawd damn it

also what in particular rapes the functionality of the skin ;x Saying "not functional" does not help at all.

Numbers are neigh impossible to read on low contrast. I have my brightness around 15% and my contrast around 50% - I only turn it up for making graphics. Hit50, hit100 etc. explosions are a bit too dynamic and distract from the focus IMHO. Not only that, but they're pretty big, covering up any underlying hitcircles that may be stacked. The slider pylon is a bit trippy because of how it's animated, and the followcircle is seriously disorienting.

It's not bad by any means - I like it, and the theme. Everything fits. Thing is though, it seems like too much is going on at once despite functioning the exact same as any other skin. It's too busy for my personal taste. I play with it on TWEWY song beatmaps for fun, but I can't play seriously with it - for that, I switch to Xi-Style.

Don't take my personal preference against it.

I've found a lot of skins - or score explosions in general - have the issue of covering up notes behind them. I'd rather they simply disappeared more quickly (perhaps after 0.5 seconds rather than the current 2 or so) as it's not something I'd want to change (graphic-wise).

They could be too big =| Experimentation may lead to profit.

Hooooooowever I have absolutely no intention of changing the font (because it has a very original feel) or the followcircle (it stands out very clearly and I find it easier to spot, even when a video is going on).

I knew that damned slider would come back to haunt me.

Everything is drawn from scratch, so technically, I got it from me.

It's a combination of the D, + and B type pins that allow you to levitate and swing objects (the red ring/vortex), the pylon (most common prop to use as a weapon in battle) random debris (the rocks/dirt which are guaranteed to be sucked up by anything strong enough to lift a car) to make things a bit more interesting, and the CDs are ripped off of the slider track and swung around.

What I think: it looks great zoomed in and pixelated, but the hair is a bit distracting. Black outline thinner, I suppose?

I'll be honest with you.

Apart from Neku cutscene voice acting, the English vocals for most characters are much better (in that they're less annoying/more fitting) than the Japanese. Well, Shiki sounds like a chipmunk, Joshua's voice doesn't fit his cocky snobbish attitude at all, and Sho's just not the same. Hanekoma sounds like he was hit over the head with a heavy object...yech, they just don't sound good at all to me ;(

Still, I have no objections if you want to rip them and replace the English OEWY voices with the Japanese ones, but at the moment I'm pretty much against including them in the skin.

Showcasing new tab as well as posting filename for other skinners to reference.

I feel proud - guessed the correct filename on my third try. As soon as I get around to drawing toasties (maybe Sunday morning/afternoon after I chill with a fellow osuer) maybe I'll finish v1.2 and reupload/reosume. All that's left is the toasties, and a system for disabling them for the whiny faggots that hate them <3

I love the whole skin, though if you're still taking suggestions etc, the "sudden death" pin could be replaced with "Tinpin thrift".

(Seeing as it places the wearer in :cry: mortal peril at the start of a battle).

Glad I can be of some assistance. If I come up with anything else I'll make the suggestion. You've put a lot of work into making the skin, so I'm appreciative of your effort as is.

You can have Sho as a partner *laughs* it would be interesting having Megumi as a partner, or some of the other characters.

Take your time and have fun doing it, thats all i can say. :3
