So, I'm a total newbie to osu!mania but I've been trying it more lately. Thing is, I first started playing because I have osu installed on my small old notebook but, since I normally use it outside, I can't use mouse to play standard. At first I went for taiko but eventually I started liking mania more. I can pass a decent amount of hards on it with a good enough score, though none of it gets recorded because offline mode.

My problem is, then I come back home and try the exact same maps in my decent desktop PC and I'm suddenly finding them pretty hard to read and way faster, and I'm lucky if I even get a C. So my question would be, is osu!mania slower in older PCs or is there something else that makes it easier?

I still use pentium D :( and the fps (when playing) is still hell even in lowest settings.
