That's a pretty weak defense, IMO. It's not illogical but I'm having difficulty believing you.

I don't want the game turning into crap, so I'll do this:

If someone wants to vote for Wojjie I'll re-place my vote. Now, at least, we get a lynch and we aren't gay'd.

On a logic-related note:

Last night I conceived a method for increasing the chance of the Town winning and therefore likely decreasing the length of the game. I'll need to be alive tomorrow to lay out the plans, of course, so we can execute them. If I say them now I'm not sure we'll have enough time to do it and the Mafia will try to ruin the whole operation (there are several ways to help the Mafia if it isn't done properly) so we'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Extra extention due to me apperently not posting that rule somewhere.

So, let's do this again.

It's 3 to lynch. If there is no official lynch by deadline, ALL LIVING PLAYERS ARE REPLACED BY THE DEAD PLAYERS.

That being stated (again), I now give a week expansion for the last time.

Okay, the plan:

Everyone pledges they will protect another person. Each person has only one person protecting them, forming a ring.

If we can make a no-lynch (without penalty), we can do that.

If not, or if we want the game to not dwindle to an elimination fest, we need to remove one person from the ring, and they will be lynched.

Living players, in order from the OP:
  1. Wojjan
  2. DeathxShinigami
  3. strager
  4. DiamondCrash
  5. Powerdrone311
Let's say that's the ring; Wojjie protects DxS, DxS protects strager, and so on. Powerdrone protects Wojjie.

Now, we see who is killed during the night, if anyone. If someone is killed, we lynch the person who was supposed to have protected them because either they aren't playing the game right or they aren't a Doctor (and thus are a Mafia Good). If no one is killed, oh well; continue with the next day.

Today, I am going to Protect: Powerdrone.

The ring in that post was purely an example. I provided how protections would occur after that list if that ring were chosen.

I guess pairs could work, but rings work for any size, and if two Mafia are "protecting" each other they wouldn't vote for the person they are "protecting" so there's a less chance of a Mafia hit (but also less chance of a Townie hit).

Current ring:

DiamondCrash: strager
strager: Powerdrone
Powerdrone: Wojjie
Wojjie: DxS

DxS has to vote to protect DiamondCrash to complete the ring. However, we cannot have a five player ring if we cannot vote to not lynch anyone. Therefore, someone has to be killed.

I am prodding DxS. If he doesn't come soon I'm going to vote him off because I dislike inactive players.

Are you saying my plan has a hole? I'd like to hear it. As far as I can see, the Mafia cast their votes to LS and LS determines who is killed, or something. (OP says Mafia do not know who each other are, so I assume they cannot discuss?)

We are saying who we would protect if we were all Doctors.

If someone dies, the person who should have been protecting the person who died is Mafia.

Sorry I seemed rushing DxS; just wanted you in the game.

Not really. You were next on the list. The only thing I find strange is strager, who was the only person not to go by the list, even though he was the one who produced it. He seemed to act on his instinctal need to either skip protecting me, or his need to protect Powerdrone. As I can't see any reason for the first, it must be the second. Why protect Powerdrone? He's done it before, too.

I'm not sure exactly how the Mafia choose a Night Kill because I'm not a Mafia member.

Mod: If you could clarify how Night Kills are decided that would be helpful.

I guess I just assumed Mafia members sent their vote to LS and she determined who would die.

Pretty much. Serial Killers are just like mafia, only they win by themselves.

I called them mafia because all the living players have to be mafia or Doctors to win. You can't win alone.

Yes. On that note, I want to clarify a few things.


Let's say Joe is protecting Bob.

Jane and Fred both target Bob with a kill.

Bob will die.


Now, if Joe and Fran are protecting Bob, and Jane and Fred are targeting Bob, Bob won't die.

It looks like strager's ring approach has a hole in it now.

So if two mafia target one person, and there's only one doctor protecting him, he will still die.

Any ideas?

If I don't see some activity, I'm just going to close the game (like all the others that died out.).

I might make one more attempt after that (at normal mafia), and if that fails I'll either post a restricted-join mafia, or be done hosting mafia here for a while. A long while.

So... yeah, deadline is currently suspended, and if there's a serious lack of activity when I finally get sick of waiting, then I'm ending this game.
