I used to play with mouse only for the first one and a half years (400dpi, otherwise same settings), after which I had a huge break. I felt like I could never get back to the level I was before so after 5 or so months I gave up (on that oh so frustrating streaming) and started to use the keyboard. I've gradually started to play with mouse clicks more often and find much more pleasure in that now that I've achieved the level I was looking up towards when I started playing.

9. Razer Sphex is the mousepad. I've come accustomed to using my arm as a pivot and even though I have experimented again on using no pivot at all, I believe it requires a much lower sensitivity.
10. What are your problems/issues while you're playing? (e.g can't spin well, that jumps, streams...)
This is a hard one... The ability to unconsciously avoid frustration so I can't retry? To get real though, most of my problems are related to reading and how to correctly apply it to my grip. Past CS5 streams still get extremely tough. With the experience I've gained now adjusting and learning has become much faster so I'm not too worried about that.
I should've really kept a osu!diary of progress or something, fun times has been had.

It's so small which makes holding/gripping it after spinners is somewhat uncomfortable. Sometimes my arm tenses up and holding it just becomes awkward. I've grown to get used to it over these 3-4 years but i would still prefer any other mouse if i could afford one
Hopefully i can get a somewhat decent mouse this holiday season.
TL;DR: This mouse sucks. Very durable and reliable but it sucks for games.

Also, I'd recommend switching to 6/11 in Windows and adjusting your DPI accordingly. Anything lower than 6/11 just makes Windows ignore mouse reports. By using 4/11, you're effectively cutting your polling rate in half.

I've found that jumps are generally easier to do with the fingertip grip, slow streams are best played with the palm grip and the claw grip comes in handy for widely spaced and faster streams. Often I change grips in the middle of the beatmap.

On that last note, I also frequently run into the problem of my mouse buttons wearing out over time. Usually, after about 3 months of mostly singletapping, it comes to the point where I can't click fast maps consistently anymore without missing notes because the mouse button doesn't "snap up" far enough anymore. It's a really, really difficult thing to describe but basically the elasticity of the plastic wears off and there is less room between the trigger and the button, meaning I don't need to press as strongly in order for it to register anymore, which gets harder and harder to cope with the more the button wears off.
Has anyone had similar problems and maybe even a recommendation towards a mouse where this problem doesn't appear (maybe one with "springs" under the buttons or something)?

I use 4/11 windows mouse sensitivity and 600 dpi, because I used to play FPS games and this was the exact speed that would let me turn my character around 180 degrees with a single mouse sweep and from higher sensitivities my accuracy suffered a lot. Btw less DPI means more accurate movement (but slower). My in-game sensitivity is 4.3 because I need more speed with jumps. My native desktop resolution is 1920x1080 although I use much lower resolution, because lower resolution means less screen space used by Osu and less screen space means less distance for my cursor to travel . About my mouse itself. The Razer Deathadder is quite a big mouse. I bought it because I have big hands and was uncomfortable with small mice. Razer Sphex is the mousepad of my choice. Being a fps player where you have to click a lot, semi auto guns helped me to stream pretty well. This is not the real problem. The main point is that when there's quick moves and stream it's difficult to keep streaming without losing precision. Indeed, when you stream with your mouse and need to move it, it's difficult to do the two things. But maybe i just need to play more to practice it. Spinners are not difficult and there's no real problem in playing full mouse. Just difficult in clicking and moving quickly.

IMO any mouse with dpi above 1000 is useless.
