Finishing with a full life stock seems to net almost half of your score from the end bonus (with the exception of Marisa B). Other than that capturing all the spellcards and grazing to raise the PIV, also make sure to collect point items by PoCing to get them at full value. If you're playing Marisa B you mostly want to be using bombs to Raise the PIV, even through non spells.

Watch some of the WR runs to get a good idea of a general route and modify parts to fit with what score you're aiming for.

I have to admit that Touhou 12 is quite difficult.. x)
I'm a beginner in Touhou but I think that the 12th is the more difficult lol

I don't remember exactly how I did because that picture is from long time ago, but I used as skill-cards rocket dive and hell geyser, both skills upgraded at level 2 (I used rocket dive as combo finisher because it forces 100% limit) And I don't used any system card to increase damage like Control Rod, just the skill cards I mentioned above :D

is it possible to set up Hisoutensoku multiplayer matches here? i really like to, even if i'm a noob in this new Touhou thing

Edit: or its too risky to send IP between us, just because they aren't like Friend Codes?

extract it to your 12.3 folder, start 12.3 and then execute that.

so basically, Hisouten games are a combination of 2d-fighting games, Danmaku shooters and TCGs. each maiden has a deck of 20 cards that are formed by Skill cards, Spell cards and others. Skill cards power-up your current skills that you can perform with Half-circle motions or Dragon punch motions, or change them into new skills. Spell cards are like KOF Desperation moves, that require a certain amount of Card gauges in order to be executed. both skill cards and spell cards can be used by just pressing the Use card button. you can select which card you want to use by pressing the swap card button. also the Maidens can fly and graze through attacks, but certain attacks cannot be grazed though. using skill cards, spell cards, flying, graze and blocking attacks cost magic. when the magic bar depletes, it refills automatically. but if the bar depletes when blocking, you'll have a guard crush and 1/5 of the bar cannot be used temporarily. weather conditons will occur at random, applying diverse effects. now that i started this Hisouten thing, i wanted to share my thoughts with you. tell me if i missed or mispelled something

i passed u my IP, u told me that that was the routers IP, i tried connecting my laptop with my desktop using that same IP and it worked. i did it backwards and it worked(with a slightly different IP), too. so what the heck is going on?

Yeah, that game was fun. Though playing the ones after it first (by that I mean TH06), it was kind of a weird game imo.

It's funded already. (in 1 week, what the heck, seriously.) Although I wonder if ZUN himself would agree.
I mean, gather over 15k$ is pretty much a huge amount, considering he is not especially "money-friendly" and tolerant against that kind of project. (it strongly reminds me that incident with MAIKAZE, remember, that anime.)

Spellcards aren't really impossible though.
In fact you even need to clear them all in order to unlock all achievements.
Man, as if these games weren't addicting enough.
Did he really need to add an achievementsystem T-T ?

Also, instead of shit-editing, I think i'll just post here.

tl;dr, some stuff about the game, don't read if you're not far enough.
I basically cleared all the 75 scenes of the game, although I'm too lazy to clear them without using any item (I did it for 35 scenes at least.)

When you clear a scene without "cheating", a green circle is added to the center of the diagram. It also automatically adds all the other circles, which is really useful when you're lazy to do it with each item. It might be achievement-related, for sure.

In fact, I missed 3 Achievements amongst the 60 unlockables, it would be cool if a translation could come soon enough, we should be able to understand how we did unlock these. (and the meaning of all these messages and trophees you can get during the game.)

A great game overall, way too short though. (yeah i know, a spinoff game is generally "shorter" than a regular game.)
My only question is, Is there an Hidden Extra stage ? (We don't see any new character here, like StB did, but I can still dream of seeing that. *cough*)

That touhou TCG is pretty shameful..

Don't ask for money before even making the project. This is a doujin series ffs. Now that company can run away with 95% of that cash, even if they had good intentions in mind. I hope they donate that to charity or something if it doesnt work out in the end. They should have asked ZUN beforehand.

I wouldn't say "new". Since the same game was released some time ago with Youmu in it. All I remember about the name was "dat youmu game".
The overall game feel wasn't very good so I got bored of it pretty fast.

I beat 6 and 8 on hard, and the rest on normal.

That took me a good 2 years. I regret nothing!

(The prismriver sisters are just too strong, so 7 will stay unbeat.)

I've cleared all of them on normal, with the exception of 14.3.
I just can't pass Remi. Way too hard, man.


Also, it seems the new game is going to be an expansion of HM, just like Soku was the expansion of SWR.
