Why am I so garbage at this game?

Hello friends,

I've been playing this game for a pretty long time now (close to a year if I mistake not), but I just don't seem to get any decent at it. I have had a tendency to do really well in all games I play and get among top 0.5%+ of the player base. Examples of games I play(ed) with a lot of success are league of legends, world of warcraft, starcraft2, warcraft3 etc etc. I've asked around a bit and most people confirm that those games (sc2 and LoL in particular) are generally a lot harder to get good at than osu in terms of mechanics, yet here I can't even play a single song that is classified as difficult despite being somewhat an active player. Is my talent just not suited for these type of games, or does it take a lot longer than a year to stop being garbage?

Thanks in advance ^^

Damn, at least you can manage to be the best in other games. Once a garbage, forever garbage

Well practice makes perfect but do remember, there no really need of a post. Could have just asked in-game and prepare for the worst :D

People need to remember that the so-called pros on this game has all been playing for at least 3 years if not more.
They are also the 0.1% on this game :V
I'm sorry to say but in order to be good at this game, you really have to put in a lot of time and effort, it takes a LONG time to get better.
I mean you can get "good", but ultimately consistently playing is what will get you to not be "garbage" I suppose.

Jumping right into the fastest/hardest maps is never the way to go. Start by finding songs you enjoy first, and practice those, even if you have to do easy or normal.

Not posting and practicing also helps you get better so I hear. You have to min/max the amount of time you spend practicing and wasting time not practicing is a no go.
