Not sure if this has already been thought of, but this just came to me. It would be really nice if the map difficulty calculator was taken a bit further. As someone who really enjoys playing osu and is always trying to improve my skills and rank, it would be convenient to find maps of my skill and have the potential to earn me PP in an easier fashion. If some system could be created to recommend maps based on a player's PP this would make searching for new maps a lot easier. For someone like myself, I go through sometimes 4 beat map pages before finally finding a song that I wouldn't mind listening to and making sure that is it has osu standard mode, and that it at least has an insane difficulty. Even then, insane has some varying difficulties. I also think this would help newer players aoid the frustration of r playing maps that are far too hard.
