+extra points?

okay, so i'm trying really hard to place high in the rankings, but other people get like extra points, so i can't place that high.




So i underlined the 'extra points' with red. Does somebody know how people get these??
And how does that one guy (where i pointed the arrow at) get more points than me, while i had more mods and we both didn't got any extra points???

that's the score difference :/
#1 has 9,363 more points than #2
#2 has 26,591 more points than #3
and so on and so on

okay thanks guys! but how do people get scores that high? even with 100% and multiple mods, i'm not even close to their scores. I'm quite fast with the spinners, so that's not the problem.

Many of the people who farm top50s on Easy diffs are people who are able to spin 450+ SPM.

if you are inmortal then its ok, if you dont then practice offline drawing circles with a pencil

The "extra points" show the difference it has from the score under it.

The reason you can't rank as high is people are using mods that give more points than the ones you are using.
Your mod selection of Hard Rock, Double Time, and Hidden which gives you 1.26 multiplier
The next mode selection that is better Hard Rock Double Time and Flashlight which gives you a 1.33 Multiplier.
People in first are obviously using all the mods which gives you a 1.41 multiplier.

That song your playing also has 4 spinners so that's a large amount of points you could be missing depending on how they're placed. You could be missing 5,000 from each spinner even.

I figure if you're ranking easy songs then, spinners approach rather slow right? Maybe people pause when a spinner is approaching, turn up their mouse sensitivity in control panel to spin faster? Then back to their normal speed xD? At least that's something I have thought would work but have never actually done lol. If it increases spinning speed drastically then, I guess that's a strategy? Haha

Haha i think i prefer control over speed. Though my SPM has increased over the past weeks. I try to spin in tiny circles, which results in me getting around 5000-10000 points. Still not fast enough though :/

Similarly, I ended up spinning so hard the keyboard slider thingy on my desk fell and broke both my legs... but it was W O R T H.
