why would plurality lynch give scum less incentive lurk? Lurking is probably what they'd want to do if a lynch is happening towards town without a hammer.

I need to dial back the cryptic.

My question was "why do you two have such strongly different opinions about whether majority lynch is good/bad here?" Tanz gives some indication for his position. I don't know what yours is.

I have some biases from offsite play, but I want to understand the pros and cons HERE before I decide how to vote.

Also, a limit of 2 embedded quotes is seriously cramping my style.

Also in the DotA small town, scum was double voter. I don't think we had to post in QT to vote. Maybe all roles were revealed, but I think it's almost the same here since roles are not alignment indicative.

I'm townreading him not because he's a doublevoter alone, but because he claimed doublevoter on D1.
Scum doublevoter would want to hide being a doublevoter until the last moment.

How does claiming on D1 mean they won't be able to use it for scum-benefiting reasons? Hiding the double vote until the last moment is giving up a powerful role for your team for the ability to scumclaim later by suddenly bringing it out.
