Hello guys,im just wondering why some people would play at 1024x768 resolution. Is there any important thing? cuz some very good player's like www, rrtyui, cookiezi(rip) did. Thanks!

my computer cant handle that resolution without slowing down, so i use 800x600(on desktop). the laptop can support 1024x600

Widescreen resolution doesn't really do much in terms of gameplay, so some people find it wasteful to do so. Plus, it probably has something to do with tablet areas and all.
The only difference widescreen offer is that videos and background won't be cut off, which a lot of pro players (or people trying way too hard to be pro) will end up deleting or removing anyway, so for a lot of people, having a 16:9 ratio is pointless.
