I also love non Touhou STGs some of my favorites are Triggerheart Exelica, Batsugun, Mushihimesama & Ibara (I'm terrible at this one though >.<)
I played Shikigami no Shiro II it was fun, but my DC broke before I could work on it properly.

I myself only played Castle of Shikigami III.
Don't know that many other Danmakus sadly. Only this, Ikaruga, Mushihimesama, and them Touhous.
Any good ones for PC?

If you download MAME you can get hundreds of Arcade STGs including the earlier Cave ones, there's a lot of good Doujin ones too, other than Touhou I'd recommend:

I own Castle of Shikigami 2 and 3. Fun games. eXceed3rd is amazing, even if it only has 1 shot-type. (music in eXceed3rd too good.) Mushihimesama-futari on xbox. So many fun shmups.

Only tried exceed 3rd and 2nd apart from touhou in the shmup genre. Seeing as I am really terrible at those games, even easy diffs are sort of hard for me lol.
exceed 2nd was really fun, even more than 3rd if you ask me, however it makes my brain hurt haha.

EXceed is an awesome series. Been meaning to pick up the re-release of the games on steam though, with the english translation in tow.
Also, Hellsinker is pretty ace too.

Actually, now that I think about it, this game might not belong here even with the danmaku elements.
