You're a genius
I found it difficult to tell the sense of speed when using it, maybe cause I'm used to a bar filling, but I don't think that many people use a bar. It's not important or anything but I just found it off putting idk ^^Uruoki wrote:
It is almost done actually. Just need to finish Taiko and Mania. I suppose I can make an alternative and more noticeable spinner. What did you not like about it?
The bars/meter on the side? Pretty sure that is disable with the new skin behavior. I could unforce that and add a meter. I rather not though since the new skin seems to handle scoreboard better and has more skin elements to work/customize. Hope you get use to it though, you can always check your speed with the box at the bottom.Neroh wrote:

gimmie a poke when you're ready and I'll check this fullyUruoki wrote:
Forgot to skin Taiko-hits. Will get those done tomorrow hopefully.
Copy the these files into the main folder.thelewa wrote:
this is definitely the most complete and best skin for playing the game that's actually on these forums
also what does this mean in the extras folder "If you are going to use the followpoint, don't forget to delete followpoint.png in the main folder." I'm confus since removing the followpoint.png and @2x files does nothing at all
I am unable to produce this. Make sure you are using the newest version. Not sure why it is doing that.-Ada wrote:
Wow this is a really nice skin. I love the circle in Taiko hha xD
And the size of fade in and random mod in mania is different from the other mods

he doesn't use a higher resolution i think, that's why.Uruoki wrote:

I see now. Fixed those with the newest update.ReddScorn wrote:

the normal ones are smaller than the HD ones.
Random, Nightcore, Perfect and Fade-In mod icons are 50x47 instead of 69x65.

also why is selection-mod-fadein/random smaller than the other mods?
maybe edit an F2 into selection-random.png?
looks fine other than that
I am aware of this, and decided not to include since most people have a preference on what to add to that.Shavit-sama wrote:
I found a missing element: menu-background.png - the custom background that osu! supporters get.

I think the white color of the numbers, rank letters, hitcircleoverlay and sliderborder is too bright for the eyes, especially contrasting with a black background. Why not change them to a darker/softer color?
aeS wrote:
Not sure if this was pointed or not, but the skin is missing volume-bg-effect.png. Not that big of a deal, but you can skin it real quickly if you want, or just copy paste volume-bg.png and colour replace the notches or something. Everything else is real solid.
I can do it, but tell me if it has to be some specific mode, or just a replay?Uruoki wrote:
Still need to get around to uploading video unless someone else will do it.
Didn't notice hitcircleselects being wrong size. As for the Taiko scrollbar, I left that out because the size was too much of a pain to figure it out. However I have added a quick "hotfix" for it. It may be the wrong size, but it works. Both of these are in the newest download.DakeDekaane wrote:
Downloaded this and it's very friendly to play at night, nice work, I only have a little complain about the taiko scrollbar in kiai, is too bright imo.
I know this skin wasn't mean for editing, just noticed you have hitcircleselect and hitcircleselect@2x inversed (256x256 and 128x128 respectively, it should be in the other way).
Nice work tho.
Added to the first post. Thanks for the video. The watermark is fine.-Kamikaze- wrote:
If I get my vegas running I'll do it
EDIT: Ok, it's done, but unfortunately only version that I got running was 12 trial version so I couldn't disable that watermark floating at the bottom. But I hope you'll still like it
-snip-
My 1st time doing this seems not so bad after all

The skin fails to import so I can't use it. Both downloads are the same so I can't solve the problem by going to the zip file either. Is there a way around this?
Fixed the zip download link being incorrect.Saturnalize wrote:

For the new broken osk, use WinRAR archiver to extract it.
I tried using plain taiko-hitcircles, however a taiko player said it was hard to read. He said he used faces for the hitcircles, so I figure the black breaks up the solid colors and makes it easier to read. So I decided to make my own faces for it.Saturnalize wrote:
I laughed at taiko-hitcircle but nah it disturbing for me.
Also why is that taiko-slideris imperfect ; ;

I Love you for that awesome skin <3.
But somehow all my sliders are coloured black today. My preformance is way worse since that. Is it because of a skin update or did i do something wrong ?
I reloaded the skin but nothing changed ?
There should be a full circle hitcircle in the extra folder. Not sure about the hitsounds. It should work.Yamadash wrote:
TMy only complaint is the transparency on the hitcircles. I have a hard time streaming because of it. I was able to make the middle of the hitcircles solid, but it looks really bad if I mess with anything else (I'm not too skilled in photo manipulation)
For some reason I'm not able to add my own files to the skin. For example, my own hitsounds. When I do it still uses the default hitsounds.
Couldn't the user make copy the hit300 from the extra folder and use blank.png to do the same thing? Just wondering.Shavit-sama wrote:
I think you should add hit300-0(@2x).png, etc.. to remove the 300 hits from being displayed but still show on ranking panel.
Amazing skin anyways
I don't think everyone knows how to do it, I know though, but most people just use the .osk which is the most simple way to install the skin.Uruoki wrote:

Thanks for the comments.
Cursor trail or the sky writing that happens when you hold down "C"?Prendeon wrote:
is there any chance that you implement circle trails or whatever you call them?
No sorry, i mean the lines that show you where the next hit circle will be when they have a great distance for example.Uruoki wrote:

No problem. I'm going to make it more clear in the first post that there is an extra folder.Prendeon wrote:

edit: wow i didn't know theres an extras folder in the skin pack. Found the followpoints. Thanks anyway!

Awesome skin! I love skins that are simple looking and just have that awesome feel to it. This skin is my main now
edit: What Prendeon said about the followpoints, what do I do to put it into the skin? Sorry I'm still kinda new at this stuff :/
edit: NVM I GOT IT

Wow, this is very interesting, I never thought that a colour of a skin actually even mattered. Keep up the good work.
For just the colors, you can add a Black and White Gradient Map in Photoshop.Agrrox wrote:
I'd like to ask you how do you colorize the hit-bursts to nice and eyefriendly greyed out color? How can i do it ? Wanna make my own hit-burst but dont how to do it in PSD.
Are you suggesting a more rounded follow-point?Agrrox wrote:
I have suggestion for a good line-style follow-point. You can include it into your skin or at least make it as DLC (downloadable content)
Reason why this follow-point is that its minimalistic and barely visible which make u focus more on circles and reduce the glow.
edit: One detail on it, when playing hidden with this follow-point. The ends are kinda distracting because of the angularity maybe remake it and make the ending and start of the line fade into transparent ?
ALSO I WANT TO KNOW WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THIS TOO
So if I understand you, something like this?Agrrox wrote:
i suggest this kind of followpoint but with rework, Making the end points with transparent transition. I mean when u play with this u will notice how sharp and distracting is end of followpoint

Edit: Planckian Locus update has now been released. Please enjoy and leave any feedback and I will work on them as soon as possible.
Try changing the skin.ini to these colors. They should be a lot more closer to the original.Agrrox wrote:
also i want to say that latest update made the hitcircle harder to read because they are far less contrast to background, also i use 100%dim (if you convert them to greyscale), i think my eyes focus more to see hitcircles and approachcircles which is imo kinda tire my eyes
